Quiet getaway

A comfy home in a quiet location, perfect for our weekend getaway. We've stayed here once before and would definitely come back again if it's available next time we're in the area.

The host was super great an massaged me early with all the information I needed. They even offered dining recommendations. The house slept 10 and we had ample towels and toilet paper. The house is super cute! The only downside, the driveway is a little steep up to the house, so we were glad it didn't snow. Otherwise it was a fantastic stay!

Great location for bike riding!

Very lovely house in the country. It was well stocked with everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again.

Perfect location

We came to volunteer out at a local race and this home couldn’t have been more convenient to the location. Everything was clean and comfortable, and the check in process couldn’t have been easier.

Relaxing Getaway

We enjoyed our time in Monticello. The listing was accurate and we had plenty of room to spread out and relax. Location was close to several towns, attractions, and restaurants. We would stay again!

Getaway Weekend

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend getaway. Spent our days exploring the area and evenings chatting on the patio. Home is very nice, clean and cozy. We are already talking about possibly returning in the fall!!

Great house in southern Wisconsin

The house was great, plenty of room great outdoor patio and fire pit area. Had all the supplies we need to enjoy our stay. Close to several small towns that were fun to visit and not a far drive to Madison either. Really enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful private country setting

Traveling from Indiana to Wisconsin, touring different Cheese Factories and Stores. This house is ideal for families as it is out away from everything yet easy access to towns of Monroe, New Glarus, plus Monticello itself is a cute small town. Ideal for Kids, as the lot is private and HUGE, with outdoor play equipment, fire pit, picnic table ect, Just Wonderful!

Sharon and I live in Monticello, WI with our family on a dairy farm. We have four children, enjoy being outside, like to ride our Harley, take an occasional vacation and work hard! We enjoy meeting new people and are looking forward to seeing many new faces at our cozy rental. :) Sharon responds to most of the inquiries and does work full-time, so please be patient if the response is delayed. We will get back to you just as soon as we can! :)

We bought this property because it was close to our farm and we saw potential as a vacation rental. It used to belong to a friend of the family and is literally just down the road.

We have beautiful views of the valley below us. One of the nicest features of the house is the balcony off the master suite. So nice to have the patio door open in the evening and feel the cool breeze as you sleep. Huge back yard for lots of entertaining and lawn games. Fire pit is a nice addition for summertime fun!
