Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and found Cindy to be very responsive and helpful. The location is excellent, and having direct, immediate access to the beach was incredibly convenient and a highlight of the trip.Check-in was a bit clunky at first, but Cindy responded quickly and helped us get settled right away. The property offers the basics, though it’s worth noting that items like a hair dryer, soap, and extra toilet paper were not provided. The supply and quality of the pots and pans were good and worked well for our needs.We also found that the wine chillers were not functioning during our stay, and Cindy let us know that new ones were already on order. The pool deck area could use some attention, as a few chairs and cushions were worn, the pool was not very clean, and the charcoal grill has definitely seen better days. Knowing these things in advance would be helpful for future guests so they can plan accordingly.

This house has great space and views as described. However, we arrived to find out the hot tub was not in working order,( this was important to our group) the property had only 1 bath tub not 3 as is written in the description. The kitchen is lacking in basic cookware- not a single skillet, sheet pan or cookie sheet.And for a 5 BR home, we found only 3 hangers. We didn't find extra light bulbs and we had an annoying flickering light in one of the rooms. Communication with our host( or host company) was not the best. I inquired specific info about cancellation time that was not exacty clear to me because we had person in group on the fence due to an elective surgical procedure.I got no response. And communication re:the hot tub issue was problematic. Our host turned disappointment and frustration back on us which felt unwelcome and unprofessional. Also, when we inquired about a discount it was immediately was denied. This house is dated and needs some TLC. We like the convenient location to Publix grocery story.

The house was great. Plenty of space for everyone and the location was fantastic with beach access. Some things to improve the stay would have been a functioning hot tub (we messaged the host to see if it worked but never heard back), and a heated pool. The guest house shower had an odd smell so guests there had to shower in the main house. The bedroom with the twin beds in the guest house seemed to have some moisture or mold in the walls as well and looked like it had just been painted over to cover it up. We had kids sleeping there and it was a concern when discovered. And maybe a little bigger supply of basic items would have been nice. There was only one garbage bag and only one dishwasher soap pod, for example. It seemed like the house only had the very bare basics. For the price, a little extra would be a nice gesture.

The Graduation getaway!

We had 10 family members and friends coming for our daughters graduation and NROTC commissioning. This house was amazing. We had the best time being together and celebrating. The beach and pool were incredible. I only wish I had more time to relax and use the pool and ocean.

Beautiful Accommodations!

We were in town for a Celebration of Life for my mother. It was nice to have my family under one roof. The home was both beautiful and comfortable and it is on the beach which allowed for stunning sunrises and sunsets. The check-in process was seamless and the property manager was very nice. I highly recommend this property!

Be aware!

When we arrived at the house the AC did not work at the guest house. Keep in mind we arrived on Saturday afternoon with children . Called the owner said someone will come fix AC on Monday or we have 1 hour to leave for a refund. After driving 14 hours and you come to a destination to find out that AC does not work and have to wait until Monday to be fixed or you have an hour to leave . Finally after several phone calls back and forth with the owner they sent someone and AC was fixed. There was no clean towels at all , we found them in the dryer . Dishwasher was full of dirty dishes . Cleanliness of the house is not 1 it is -10 . Sheets and comforter was very very filthy and dirty . We had to go to target at 8pm to buy brand new sheets and bedding to be able to sleep on and towels because everything is very dirty , filthy, old and stained . I can attach pictures of the bedding and receipts from target showing all the bedding that we had to buy. This house needs some major deep cleaning and renovations . For this amount of money you would expect to be at a cleaner place where you can enjoy your vacation.

Beautiful home

We never met with manager as stated. Some lights were marked, some not. No paperwork for TV/Cable. Blue tooth speakers throughout home but we couldnt get it to work. Lights flickered day and night. Electrical issues? We couldnt turn off outside lights. AC quit working the day (Sunday) (guest house)before we left and couldnt cool down the bredrooms. Grill was shot. Property was beautiful, clean and maintained.

Getaway

We had a nice stay in this house. It was plenty big enough to accommodate our 4 families. We enjoyed being on the beach and the location. Had some issues with the hot tub as we had to call each day for it to be turned on. Overall we enjoyed our stay.

The property was amazing! Clean, gorgeous decor, and spacious. Location was Great! The rain put a small damper on our trip, but overall we had a fabulous first experience going through VRBO. We will be a returning guest!

Awesome house

It is a great house.. Awesome house... Just know and maybe its in the fine print... No shampoo, no soap, one role of paper towels, no hair dryer. ect. Bring what you need... The vies is spectacular, beds are comfortable.. Now there is 5 bed rooms and 5.5 bathrooms.. but for some reason the Master has two master bathrooms and two bedrooms and one full bath has a separate outside entrance .. May work out great for the kids,,, it was just a learning curve for us.. again.. Great house

Slice of Heaven on the Ocean

The property was just as pictured!! Spectacular views of the ocean. Great holiday vacation for my 5 adult children and daughter in law. Very clean property and high level accommodations. Great area with restaurants and lots to do. We visited tallest lighthouse in Florida about 25 mins south. Went in the jacuzzi and fished off the beach ⛱️ thanks Cindy for being responsive to all our needs

Beachfront and Peaceful

What a great house! Right on the beach with a pool and hot tub (hot tub was heated, hurricane took out solar heat for pool, but fine if going at the right time). We felt like we had the beach to ourselves and sunrises were amazing. The one day it rained we watched the lightning strike the water in the distance and it was an incredible site. Cindy was easy to communicate with and took care of any questions we had immediately. I would highly recommend this house if you're looking for beachfront in Daytona Beach.

Great Beach Front with Pool.. Beautiful and Great for Families

We had our family visiting from up north and had a small family reunion. It was a great place and very family friendly house. Plenty of room for 8 adults and 4 kids.

This property does NOT sleep 12

This property says it “sleeps 12” but it does not. We booked it for 12 adults (all couples) and then started to question, how can 5 bedrooms sleep 12 guests? When I asked Cindy she explained that there is a “room” with an “area for 2 more guests to sleep.” So I asked… a 6th bedroom? She was very vague and unclear. Upon arrival, we saw that the guest house area has a pull out couch in the entrance way for 2 people to sleep on. It was crammed and you wouldn’t be able to walk through if the couch was pulled out into a bed. 2 of my guests were forced to just sleep on the couch in the living room. When I was asking her on the phone about this situation, she proceeded to tell me she “wasn’t comfortable” with 12 guests being there...it’s advertieed to sleep 12 guests 😂 gorgeous property other than the cockroaches in every corner and broken toilet in one of the rooms. She kept deleting the listing off VRBO which was weird and confusing as well.

Amazing Views!

My family, my parents and my brother and his family stayed the weekend at this incredible house. Our stay was fantastic! There were 5 bedroom, 5 full bathrooms and 2 half bathrooms. The kitchen has plenty of space for two or three to fix meals (we were feeding 9) as well as entertain. It was too cold for us to use the pool or hot tub, but with the size of the pool, we could easily have all fit in (at least in the pool). Even though our weekend was cold, we didn't mind. The windows overlooking the ocean more than made up for it. Pictures just don't do this view justice. You can see from the dinner table, the family room and the master bedroom. We were in a constant state of awe! Amazing place! High end finishes, huge space and a relaxing feel in every room of this house! We didn't want to leave!

Couldn’t be happier!

This home is very well maintained. It’s been completely renovated and updated with high end finishes. Huge in ground pool and hot tub that overlooks the beach. The home offers beautiful views of the ocean from multiple rooms. Each room has its own bathroom plus 2 additional half baths, there is even an outdoor bathroom and shower for when you come off the beach or need to use the rest room while swimming in the pool. The beach in front of the house was never very busy and we felt comfortable to allow our children on the beach to play while we stayed around the pool. We really enjoyed the whole-home stereo and had it playing most of the week. The grocery store was less than a mile away, so it made it convenient when we need to run out for supplies. The only thing this property lacks is a restaurant/bar within walking distance. I highly recommend this rental. Joe and Cindy were great to work with.

Fantastic home with amazing views and beach

We rent a beach home every summer and usually stay north of this beach area. However, this house is set up so well with lots of space for all and the beach was as uncrowded as the area we used to visit! We will be renting again!
