Week stay in Paris

Plenty of room for 7 people and close to public transport. Far enough from main tourist areas that it was not full of tourist. Great cafés, bakeries, and chocolate shops all within 5 minutes walking distance. François put together a very informative binder of local attactions and shops in the area to visit. Would definitely stay there again.

Perfect Location!

These two quintessential Paris apartments in the Montmartre neighborhood were perfect or our active family of 6. We did not spend much time in the apartments themselves, but they had all the amenities we would have needed beyond beds/sofa beds. The host was very communicative and helpful, including helping us with information to order a taxi for the trip to the airport. Several cafés and restaurants are nearby, as well as two metro stops.

Our family in Paris

The location was perfect for us…far enough but not to far from the center of Paris…close to metro and lots of food options. It well worked for our family of 7 with teenagers and the price was at least in our budget. Host provided some really helpful information to get us started since it was our first time in Paris. We were looking for clean and safe but not fancy place to stay…most of our days were out and about the city.

Not the best

Very cold and humid apartments on ground level with no sheltering from the elements. There was black mold on the walls of one of the apartments. Also, first time staying at a place that doesnt provide soap for hand washing in the bathrooms. Will definitely not be returning.

L appartamento è in zona tranquilla con ristorantini vicini. A 5 min dalla fermata blanche. Tutto l essenziale. Molto caldo l appartamento. Portarsi solo tovaglia per tavolino.

This location was great—close to attractions but off the beaten path enough that you felt like you were going home at night. Perfect space for my family!

a bit old and grungy but extremely quiet

The location was great and since the apts face an inner courtyard, it was incredibly quiet. But there was a leak on the floor in our bathroom, the cups and glasses were quite dirty, and the old Nespresso machine had probably never been cleaned once. The sofa was stained and old. The sofa bed, however, was very comfortable and the linens and towels were quite new. The proprieters were wonderful!!

Los apartamentos estan muy bien situados, bien comunicados y cercanos tanto a lugares turisticos como a tiendas ,supermercados, restaurantes, etc... Recomendable para familias con y sin hijos.

Pro’s & Con’s

The unit we rented was not what we expected. The owner was very nice and checked on us regularly but with a bit of effort this could be a great place. First there are a ton of stairs going to and from the two units. I did not realize that the units are not across from each other, they are down another flight of stairs. Carrying suitcases up and town with 3 kids and two grandparents can be challenging. The two units were not clean and smelled horrible. We opened windows but could not get the smell out. The showers had mold and mildew in them and hair from other guests. Not much effort in cleaning the place. The benefit of this place is that it is right in the middle of a great neighborhood with wonderful cafe’s, adorable stores and easy access to the underground. Please note that this place is very small but the owner could really put some effort into better linens and pillows to make the stay more enjoyable.

3 Days in Paris

We enjoyed our stay in the heart of Paris. Claude was very helpful in getting us into our space and familiar with the area. I would recommend exploring the area a little more if you have time.

Perfect for 2 families

The location was perfect! It was an incredibly short walk to 3 different metro stops. There were so many great restaurants and bakeries one block away. Everything was close, even Sacre Coeur was only a 10 minute walk away. We really loved this neighborhood! We were 2 families each with 2 small children. The apartments are in the same building complex a staircase away. We loved having our own space and also being steps away from each other. The kitchens were stocked well enough for our needs. We especially enjoyed the espresso machine in the morning! We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Paris!

A Perfect Location in Lovely Montmartre!

This property is located a short walk from Abesses. Restaurants and shops are everywhere. Francois was helpful and thoughtful to all our needs. Claude met us at the property and Francois used the WhatsUp to communicate with us. He also provided us with helpful directions and taxi services to and from the airport. The sleeping was comfortable with room for all of us. The apartments were cozy and safe. I had a wonderful time and can't wait to return.

Great location in Paris

This double apartment was a good deal for our two families. Both apartments are small - they were quite snug for nine of us, but when you compare to the cost of hotels for that number it's hard to beat. They would be perfect for two couples. One of the apartments could use some updating. We were in Paris during a terrible heat wave, and the apartments were quite comfortable. I saw another review that expressed some concerns with the neighborhood, especially for kids, but the immediate area is quite charming. Yes, you can take a wrong turn and end up in the red light district but otherwise it is convenient to the Metro - if you're strategic, you can make the walk downhill both ways. Overall, very happy with the place.

Fabulous neighborhood; Great for families

We very much enjoyed staying here! There are bakeries, creperies, green grocers and fabulous restaurants within a block, yet the apartment was nice and quiet. We made lots of use of the subway, which is also quite nearby.

Very central apartments, well looked after

We managed to sleep 8 young women in our party, on a short trip to Paris. The sofa-bed in each apartment's living room was fine, and there was a bedroom in each with a double bed. Although the apartments and the furnishings are old, everything was clean and working. Francois the owner, and Sue who looks after the property, were attentive and pleasant. We had a great stay - and right in the middle of bustling Montmartre!

Appartements très bien situés, à deux pas du quartier abbesses, du moulin rouge. Dans résidence très calme. Les appartements sont très fonctionnels et bien équipés. Les appartements ne sont pas attenants et séparés par 2 cours intérieures, cela reste très pratique car à la même adresse mais difficile de faire un repas à 8 personnes dans l'un d'entre eux, c'est plus 2*4. Propriétaire très à l'écoute. Nous avons passés un bon séjour.

Some good and bad

The area was not bad, families with young children may need to be careful a bit since it is 2 blocks away from pigalle street where moulin rouge and other adult rated things are. Location was pretty solid, lots of good places to eat and close to Sacre Cour. The bad part is that the apartments were separated by stairs and only one apartment had internet working. Tried to ask Francois to get it fixed but for our entire 4 to 5 day trip it still didn't work, very frustrating when you have family complaining about not having internet and having 7 people cramming into one tiny apartment for internet to finish work and schooling stuff. Apartments are pretty small and was cramped for 7 but that is typical of Paris. In the end not bad of a place but hard to believe even after 3 days the wifi was still broken....
