The property is in a good location, 10 minute walk from the main street. The view of town is nice from the balcony and very relaxing. The apartment and in general the building was clean and in good shape. The apartment is functional and confortable, but it is a little too busy, if you open the sofa-bed there is barely space to allocate the center table and the other little decoration things around the room. The phone is also in an awkward position in the kitchen-hall, we bumped with it several times.

They gave a refund for 1 day. It was absolutely amazing stay. The condo was very clean and smelled good! The bed was super comfortable. The view from the front and back are beautiful. The location is perfect a very short walk to town. The location is also great very quiet. We are going back in the fall and will DEFINITELY BE STAYING WITH OLDE GATLINBURG RENTAL! THANK YOU TO THE STAFF WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME...

Perfect distance from downtown. Peaceful but a close walk

It’s located up the hillside so you can see over the town. But it is a quick five minute walk to downtown. Everything was ready for us when we got there and the staff that we talked to was very helpful and very polite. Also had free parking. We would 100% stay here again.

If you’ve never been during the Christmas break, the traffic is absolutely terrible and if you find parking it’s extremely expensive not to mention potential car damage. This condo is perfectly located and offers a great view of the skyline. I definitely will rebook next year.

Great visit

Place was in a great location. Property size smaller than what was expected from the pictures. However it was very clean and able to accommodate the size of my party.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This rental was clean. The fireplace did not work. We were told to “jiggle “ the logs to get it going. Obviously, this was an old problem. Hot water ran out after one shower, so my husband and I alternated shower days. A good many things sitting around as decorations; the place is small, so these things are not necessary for appeal.

Clean sufficient but sad

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was small than expected. It says sleep 4 and technically that is correct,but 4 people would have been on top of each other. The stove is also the counter space. It was desperately outdated in decore. Almost comical. We spent little time in the room, however. It was clean and comfortable. The fireplace didn't work even with someone looking at it twice. The complex is amazingly quiet even with a number of guests staying there. The location in regards to the main tourist areas is excellent. The staff was friendly and communication from them about our stay was clear and thorough.

Great location

The condo was very clean. Check in was easy and the walk downtown was approximately 10 min. The lady at the front desk was so sweet and accommodating. She went out of her way to ensure a good stay. Unfortunately I can not remember her name :(. Highly recommend this property.

Elevator was reasonably quick and the hallway, stairwell etc were kept clean and well lit. Unit 411 had what we needed with the exception of a decent bed. The bed mattress is actually swayed in several inches on the side nearest the bathroom. This is 100% worn out. I highly recommend the owner try to spend a night on it.

The unit is small but the amount of space was perfect for the two of us since we were out hiking and sightseeing most of the time. The bed was okay but made creaking sounds when we moved. We liked being able to cook breakfast there. As noted by other folks there isn't a dishwasher but that wasn't a big deal to us. If you are looking for luxury and a big space this isn't the place for you. But if you are looking for a good deal this could be your place!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The community is very conveniently located. You walk down the back stairs and you're only a few blocks from downtown Gatlinburg. It was great to be able to walk and not have to deal with parking. Where things fall short is in the unit itself. The mattress felt like it was plywood topped. I am not exaggerating when I say it was the firmest mattress I have ever felt in my life. And I travel a lot. Also, there was no shampoo or conditioner or anything except from a bar of soap. It is something that you expect to be there in a rental unit, or at minimum notated to bring your own. It was frustrating to come back from a 10 mile hike in the mountains to realize we had to walk down to Walgreens all sweaty and disgusting to spend $20 on shampoo and conditioner. The unit itself was very dated and is beginning to show it's age. Also, the fireplaces are apparently only seasonally available. Being from Florida, a night dropping into the 40s is a perfect excuse to turn on the fireplace, but the community doesn't turn them on until "sometime in October." So that was a bit disappointing as well.

Locking door and sink
