Nice Space, Clean

Space was adequate and clean. Check in was easy, love the keypad for easy door access. We were able to find parking every day in the lot. While the main space has been updated, the bathrooms were not updated and the fans were loud. Communication was slow prior to arrival, there were no instructions in the unit, example, explaining you could get new towels if you brought your old to the main office. There were no pool towels or wash cloths. No kleenex or dish soap. The A/C units were very loud, making sleep hard, as well as the blinds in the bedrooms were not black out.

Don’t stay here

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit was not good—they have done some strange renovations, turning an entry hall into a strange “kitchenette,” the refrigerator is in the living room. The front “bedroom” closet stores the hot water heater, no closet, bench, chair, or even a shelf—uncomfortable renovation. There are non of the usual amenities that make a stay pleasant—very cheap and uncomfortable sheets and towels, nothing to make morning tea or coffee, no extra pillows or blankets (and it was cold!), floors not clean. The only nice thing about this place is the check in staff—Beverly was wonderful. Would definitely NOT stay here again.

The only "issue" we honestly had was that the air conditioning wasn't cooling our room - but it was December and if it wasn't unseasonably warm we wouldn't have noticed honestly. We have a family of 5 and the space was perfect for our family. Perfect amount of towels and washcloths, a great space for cooking and preparing meals (if we were to actually do that) and the bigger fridge was a plus. I would definitely rent from them again; it was quite convenient walking to everything on the Parkway.

Reviewer Comments: It was very easy to stay here they send you a code so there really isn't a check in check out in person. The condo we stayed in needs a little maintenance done there are plugs with cables attached falling out of the wall, theres no stoppers in the bathroom sink and shower/bathtub. Our parking passes weren't there when we arrived. It would be nice to have a guide on how to work the tv and air. Other than that the view was great and its close to everything. Very quiet.

I would not stay in that apartment again.

The burners on the stove couldn’t even get hot enough to get grease hot to fry up chicken strips. The air-conditioning was only in the bedrooms there was a hole in the wall by the door where air went out into the living room and you had to have it on high for the work right. I would not stay in 307 ever again. The people that what are really nice.

Convenient Location but Very Run Down Place

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The location was the best aspect of my stay, close to downtown Gatlinburg and all the food and attractions. Walking distance. Upon our very late arrival to the hotel, the staff was kind to leave us keys in an envelope to get into our room. I've seen the movie Texas Chainsaw Massacre, but never the sequel Tennessee Leafblower Massacre... Until we checked in and were greeted a sleepless man arduously cleaning leaves with the machine at 3am. I have to say...the potential of a serial killer on the prowl made me afraid, if not for my unlikely companion to keep me company! Her name was Josefina, and she was a medium sized roach that lived in my sink. The light in the room kept flickering though. So I reached for 2 potential defense weapons (1) a knife to ward off serial killers, and (2) a toaster, to electrocute a potential poltergeist. However, we soon discovered the presence of only 2-piece assembly knife (broken blade inserts into the handle for strenuous cutting experience) in the kitchenette, and a very ancient disintegrating toaster (likely salvaged from the remnants of Titanic on the bottom of the ocean) We asked the front desk for replacements, of course, so that we would be prepared for the following night. Unfortunately, our pleas left unattended, we were stuck defenseless in the room with the flickering light. It was only us, and the lonely fruit loop on the floor left by previous guests. Oh and Josefina. I am grateful for the spare rolls of toilet paper though.
