All noise levels must be considerate, especially at night as this is a home in a suburban setting and we would like to keep our neighbors as friends.
We ask that you leave the house neat and free of trash on your departure. An extra fee of $150 will be charged if a greater cleaning is required.
Please let us know immediately if something is malfunctioning. However, all damages or missing items will need to be paid for before your departure.

Despite the weather we had a great time. The house is very comfortable, well a pointed, nicely updated and was spotless when we arrived. Location is good too!

Everything was comfortable and in good condition. The kitchen was perfect for having Thanksgiving with my family with lots of pots and pans and lots of room. My son loved using the sauna! The surrounding yard was big enough for us to gather and talk, and there were enough bathrooms for all of us. Also plenty of sheets and towels.

Spacious, great location, nice bedrooms, good kitchen. Nice parking and back yard. Multiple window A/C all worked fine, but that dates the place.

We mostly used the house as a place to sleep. It was as described and suited us perfectly.

Parking was easy, in the driveway. The house was spacious and clean. All necessary supplies were provided. Kitchen was well stocked and clean. Host responded quickly to questions.

Beacon home

This house was cute and a perfect location. We were in town for a wedding in downtown Beacon and this location was incredibly convenient. The house amenities had everything we needed and more, the sauna was an added bonus that we all used and enjoyed.

Spacious & comfortable

My family of 6 stayed here while visiting from friends in the area. Not only was there enough room for us, we also ate breakfast outside on the patio, played in the big backyard and the kids found and loved all of the toys that were here. Two thumbs up!

Beautiful & peaceful respite from the city

The house was very clean and comfortable, the mattress in the master bedroom was quite comfortable (that's only one we used so can't speak to the others). The yard was peaceful and we ate dinner outside every night at the table and chairs as we watched geese and egrets fly overhead and then later on, lots of bats swooping around! The location is great, just an hour and 45 minutes from NYC and near lots of hiking trails, lakes, and the cute town of Beacon. Overall we really enjoyed our stay, thank you so much!

We chose this really lovely house in Beacon because it was located near family.

The house was truly a home away from home and a wonderful place to celebrate Thanksgiving and my birthday. There was plenty of room for family and friends, and the house was extremely comfortable.

Actually kid friendly!

We had an amazing time here! So many "kid-friendly" properties are fun and fine, but aren't actually all that kid-friendly. My 2 1/2 year old daughter had her own room, with a crib, and there were a ton of fun toys for her to play with! Great yard, walkable to Main Street (great food!!!!). Unhesitatingly recommend.

Exceptionally Clean and Comfortable

The house was spotlessly clean when we arrived. Communication with Suzanna wad great and she was quick to respond when we had a small issue. The house is updated, but still retains the charm of an older house. There were many small touches that made it clear the owners cares about their guests.

A lovely home away from home!

What a lovely property! We had a great time staying here. It had everything we needed for our week long visit from the UK and is close to so many lovely things to see and do whilst visiting the Hudson Valley, it's hard to list them all. The property was spotlessly clean and very comfortable, which made it feel like a proper home away from home for us! Suzanna and Dave were great hosts who made us feel very welcome and Suzanna was very responsive to any questions we had. Can thoroughly recommend this property and we hope to return again one day!

Great house for a family group

House on a dead end street with little traffic or noise with easy access to both I-84 and downtown Beacon.. Nice backyard/patio area. Very comfortable beds, nice towels and linens, quality dishes and flatware. Bathrooms have all been renovated recently and are very nice. Window AC units cooled the house well. Kitchen is beginning to show its age; worked well for light prep and there were some spices, etc. in the cupboard, but is not a "cook's kitchen." We were very comfortable here, and would definitely stay here again when we are not traveling with our small dog.

Great stay!

Had a great little family getaway. We had an infant and this place was perfect - crib, baby bath, toys - AWESOME. Two older kids older - nice yard and the kids didn't want to go home because our home beds aren't as comfortable, apparently, lol. Very clean house which was great. We hung out for a week and went to the local waterpark. Perfect low key vacay.

Our Beacon Experience

Plenty of room for a family of 6. Nearby train station in Beacon took us to New York City in 90 minutes. Hudson River Valley is beautiful with plenty of activities from hiking to West Point tour to bike riding on the train tracks in the Catskill mountains. House was as advertised in a quiet neighborhood near the major roads that we needed to use daily. Well maintained and comfortable.

Great Spot for Families!

House was clean, spacious and a great location! Our kids loved the yard and it was nice to unwind. Suzanna was so prompt in responding to all of our questions.

Wonderful & clean place

The house and location were both wonderful, and very clean. Lots of small appliances to help out as well, like brooms, vacuum, extra blankets, etc. Very accommodating for those with toddlers as well, though we didn't make use of it.
