この美しいヴィラは、建築家によって特注で建てられたもので、カラフルなタイル、テラコッタの床、アドビの壁など、メキシコの典型的な建築的特徴の多くを誇っています。同時に、アーチ型のレンガの天井、カスタムステンドグラスの天窓、850メートルのアンティークの木製の梁、アンティークのドア（メキシコ全土の歴史的建造物の解体に由来）、ダイニングルームの大理石の床など、非常にユニークな機能を備えています。装飾的な鋳鉄の手すり。 「オープンコンセプト」のエンターテインメントエリアを備えた広々とした自然光あふれるこのエリアは、アステカの時代から「永遠の春の街」として知られている街をリラックスして楽しむのに最適な場所です。

If I could give a 6 Star rating I would

This is a fabulous property, beautifully and authentically appointed, with gorgeous grounds and a wonderful swimming pool. We were a group of six adults, three couples, who thoroughly appreciated the elegant accommodations, and we had plenty of space to be together, or to do whatever work we needed to do in solitude. The three master bedrooms upstairs, each with an ensuite bathroom, were terrific. Monica is a superb and knowledgable host, and a superior communicator. We took her advice for a local guide and transportation and had a fantastic week exploring the area. There are rare and significant sites for day trips and our driver/guide Fernando was extremely knowledgable and a near native English speaker. Gabriel, the onsite manager, was also extremely attentive and available for any questions we had. All in all, this was an exceptional trip and we are very grateful that we found this place!

This was a family vacation to celebrate birthdays and doctoral degrees while visiting our son who is involved with an exchange teaching program through his university back in the States. This is a genuinely unique property--plenty of space to spread out indoors and outside. The photos are quite accurate--with one small exception. We were smitten by the cobalt glassware and the dinner place settings. What was on hand was mostly melamine plasticware and a few glass plates. This is understandable given that people don't always treat their home away from home with thought and care. The owner is delightful and quick to communicate. She has a property manager who is available for any issues that arise (for us it was getting the oven to light and stay on). It's great to have a car, but you don't need one. Uber is readily available for transport. While we brought some of own family favorite games, there's plenty of fun available at the house. Wifi works super well (a gift for those of us who had some work to attend to). The birds, the beautiful maintained garden, and the babbling brook at the back of the property made this such a restful retreat space for us. This really is a rare find. Highly recommend!!!

This guest and her group were wonderful guests, and I hope they will come back! It is truly a pleasure to have people fully enjoy and appreciate all the efforts one, as a host, has made to make the property as attractive and comfortable as possible. Regarding the cobalt glassware, please note that the guest accidentally confused this property with another property she had seen on VRBO with this one. She contacted VRBO to modify the review, but this was not possible. The house has a variety of proper glassware, as well as many types of plastic glasses, (including some for wine, champagne and martinis etc.) for use outdoors and by the pool, primarily for reasons of safety, i.e. people coming in and out of the pool and garden with bare feet. The dish ware is Mexican Talavera stoneware, but there are also plastic plates available for children and outdoor use.

My late parents once lived in this lovely custom-made home, and now it is a much-loved second home to my family. My husband and I have worked very hard to renovate and modernize the property without detracting from its architectural beauty and unique charm. We are happy to be able to share it with you and ask that you treat our home as if it were your own. We have done our best to furnish the property with everything necessary to make a stay here complete and wonderful, and we strive to make sure that your stay is as enjoyable as possible, but this is not a hotel! Guests are expected to leave the property in the condition that they find it - and in which they would like to find their own home if guests stayed there – a place that has been enjoyed but also respected! I am happy to assist you in organizing extra services that are available for an additional fee, such as daily housekeeping, a private cook, a private chauffeur, airport pick up/drop off, etc. When you arrive my property manager is available for any unexpected occurrences, such as a lightbulb that goes out, or to advise you where nearby cafes, shops and restaurants are. We hope you enjoy our home as much as we do!

This beautiful villa was custom built by a Mexican architect & boasts many typical Mexican architectural features - colorful tiles, terra-cotta floors & adobe walls, - w/ numerous unique features - vaulted brick ceilings, custom stained glass skylights, antique wood beams/doors & decorative cast iron railing. All the doors in the villa were salvaged from haciendas around the country, as well as 80 meters of vintage wood beams. The property is adjacent to a stream and is bordered by ancient Eucalyptus trees and bamboo.

Spacious and full of natural light, it is the perfect place to relax in privacy and seclusion and enjoy the beauty of nature in a town known since Aztec times as "the city of eternal springtime". The property has high speed internet and many laptop friendly spaces. It is the ideal spot to unwind, relax, "shelter in place" and work remotely. The garden is full of beautiful trees and flowering plants, butterflies, dragonflies and hummingbirds with the calming sound of the stream that flows behind the property. .

The living room opens up onto a lovely garden and covered terrace, which offers complete privacy and includes a heated pool, sunbathing area with chaise lounges and outdoor kitchen with built-in cast iron grill separate grill. A separate laundry room with full size washer/dryer make short or long stays attractive and convenient.
