Our hosts were very welcoming, easy communication but also respected our privacy. We had a ''special request' which was met with no fuss and which we greatly appreciated. Attention to detail and consideration of the likely needs of guests made for a delightful stay. And yes you can fall asleep to the sound of the waves.

What a treasure of a find. A wonderful surprise for us on a stressful business trip from Sydney to Brisbane. We were able yo regroup and prepare in the most unexpectedly serene and beautiful surroundings relative to cost. So worth we intend to return within a month :)

Funky & spotless!

Just a beautiful place to stay. Everything has been thought of and provided, from the abundant tea towels to the matches for the candles to the little philosophy notes on the shelf (I appreciate the little things)! Kellie is such a kind and responsive host, and I've never encountered such high standards of cleanliness at any other accommodation in Australia. Highly recommended! (Just one small note for Vodafone mobile users - there is little to no reception in the studio itself, but bars emerge once you're outside :))

The room was huge and beautifully decorated. The beach is right across the street. Checking in and out was simple. I wish we lived closer- we’d use this as a weekend getaway all the time!

Amazing experience, the decor is stunning with plenty of room.The studio is spotless with everything you need, the hosts are amazing. We really enjoyed our stay in this spacious, comfortable studio which is well-equipped with everything you could need for a short break. The 'kitchen in a cupboard' is well stocked within the space available and the furnishings are stylish. The hosts are available for any questions or problems but respect your privacy. Overall a great stay and we would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Both Kellie and Glenn really treat you like family, both rooms are decorated very well and it's very relaxing and healing with the sound of the waves gently rushing to shore sending you into a blissful nights sleep. It really is a home away from home, we will always stay there when we're in the area.

We stay here twice a year!

We have stayed at Shorebreak Moroccan en route from Melbourne to the Gold Coast and return each year for some time (we spend to winter months on the Coast). It provides a perfect break for the long drive. It is so comfortable and beautifully appointed (and they allow us to bring our dog, which is the whole reason we don't fly!). It's a real sanctuary on a long and tedious road trip; quite and peaceful with every amenity catered and within a short drive of a range of restaurants for the evening meal. Try the Moonee Beach Tavern, (7 minutes north) for a quick, tasty and inexpensive pub meal. Thanks Kellie. We'll be back in October!

Beautiful

We had a very pleasant stay. The studio apartment was spacious, spotlessly clean, well equipped and beautifully decorated. It had a lovely feel to it. There was a nice outdoor sitting area and it was a 2 min walk to the beach. There were nice extras like coffee plunger, perfect size teapot with filter, loose tea, candles, good hand and body wash etc. A folder with advice on restaurants in the vicinity and instructions on TV etc were appreciated. The beach is not a good swimming beach, as was also mentioned in the folder, but there are other beaches suitable for swimming and surfing nearby. It was obvious a lot of thought and care went into this accommodation by the owners. Thank you for a very enjoyable and restful stay. Astrid and Eric

Fantastic location, excellent property.

Wish we could have stayed more than one night as the owners have presented the Morocan room in an outstanding fashion. Being so close to the beach and listening to the surf role in was an extra bonus. "Kitchen in a cupboard" is a great idea to utilise limited space. Truly 10/10. Highly recommend.
