If you are looking for a relaxing day and peaceful night holiday , then Sawtell Hinterland Retreat is for you . Located in rural Bonville and a short drive to Sawtell`s famous beaches , excellent restaurants and the historic Majestic cinema .
The cabins are 80m2 with 2 bedrooms and a large living area , kitchen, separate bathroom and toilet . Outside is 30m2 deck with barbeque and seating , overlooking a 1 million litre fish pond stocked with Australian Bass and Silver Perch . Fly fishing is permitted on a catch and return to water basis .
Situated on 20 acres of fertile soil and green pastures , there is an abundance of wildlife ( and horses as well ) . Water dragons have made the pond their home , Waterfowl and some wallabies that pass through .

The place was the definition of a restful retreat. We loved overlooking the paddock with the horse! The house was well equipped and Philip the host was very responsive and helpful.

Situated in a peaceful, beautiful open space. Property was super clean and spacious. Carport and the big lawn at the front was a plus. Felt close to nature with all the greenery around. Kids loved it. Coffs Harbour is just 15 mins drive. Especially during school holidays when every accommodation in Coffs Harbour was super expensive and cramped, this ticked every box for us. Will surely return.

Beautiful place

Was working so couldn't spend time enjoying the place except for early in the morning when there was a wonderful chorus and little wrens coming up to the window. Had a great stay.

Close to everything

We had a lovely time at Phil’s property. Very convenient location to access all the beautiful towns and beaches around, and super close to Sawtell with lots of restaurants. The house was spacious and accommodating, with a beautiful view of the countryside and super accessible from the side road.

Excellent accommodation close to Coffs Harbour

If you are looking for a new, clean, well designed, quiet and well located property, then this is it. The owner was very easy to deal with and this is great place to stay if you want to go to an event in Coffs Harbour.
