Sunny beach, dated accomm

Sunshine Beach still rates right up there as one of the best beach locations in Qld - relaxed village atmosphere, predominantly locals and a fabulous place to relax. The apartment was tired and very dated in respect of decor and appliances - would recommend to owners to give it a freshen up in respect of paint, new curtains, new lounge and exterior seating, fans in bedrooms and kitchen appliances. Nice view of beach/sea from rooftop terrace however proximity to the restaurant 'strip' on Duke St made for a very noisy stay thanks to the shop precinct refuge bin locations being directly below the apartment. On the whole the apartment was a good size and described accurately on the booking site. Would not stay in this location again simply due to noise.

Thank you for your comments regarding the the property. We strive to provide modern and comfortable accommodation and as you experienced the apartment itself has a great layout and is a of a good size, however, and we agree, it is time for a bit of an update. Thankfully the Owner is visiting in the near future and your feedback will greatly assist us in convincing them that the time to update is now! It is unfortunate that with such a convenient location some noise from the normal operations of the restaurant district are experienced. We haven't had that comment before so regrettably there must have been a bit more activity than usual during your time there.
