The cabin was great. It has a wonderful view of the lake. We saw deer and their fawns come into the yard. The communication with the host was great. The layout of the cabin was also perfect for us. Would definitely go again.

Very typical northwoods cabin experience! Everything you need, nothing you don't. Great place for a group of friends at a good price. We liked the bedroom layout, kitchen amenities offered, and the smart TV for streaming the races during Derby Weekend. The carport was handy as it snowed nonstop while we were there. I would note that during winter, a 4x4 vehicle is a good idea due to the tight and hilly roads and driveway that have a good snow base on them. Would definitely return!

Quiet retreat

The location is amazing, the views are beautiful. It was serene. The cabin is as described, full linens, nice sheets, comfy place to sit and relax. Thinking about booking again in the fall !! Would recommend!

Had a good week snowmobiling

Nice clean cabin out in the woods, rode our snowmobiles a mile along the roads to the trails. Worked great for us, might be a little tight if you had a trailer but we didn’t. Would stay again.

We’d definitely come back

Loved the cabin and quiet location. A snow storm caused problems getting in but the owners were very accommodating. Great stay. Only glitch (outside Mother Nature) is that VRBO listed it as a 2 bath but was only a 1 bath, but that wasn’t an issue for us.

Peace and quiet

This cottage is amazing. Perfect place for a getaway. The pictures do not do it justice. Very clean and has everything you need. The deer come right up to the cottage. Will definitely come back.

We ice oval raced in Eagle River World Championships

We raced in the 22nd world Vintage Championships on 1/12-1/15 and stayed the whole week to also race the 60th World Championships. We did very well in Pro Champ and Pro f500 and f500 combo races. Only wish parking area was larger, very tight for more then one car and forget about bringing a trailer. Seen deer every day, would love to hunt this area.

Great Location but Needs Updates and Attention

The location of this property is excellent. It offered seclusion and convenience with a short drive to Eagle River. The amenities are average, offering the basics for a stay. However, there are several issues that impacted the overall experience. The queen mattress was in very poor condition, very firm, and sunken in the middle. It’s nearly impossible to get a good night’s sleep and it’s unfortunate that it’s expected guests sleep on it. In addition, the lack of window coverings not only affected privacy but also detracted from the property’s appeal. The construction and layout show good potential, but it’s clear there are unfinished areas or updates that the owner may not have had time to complete. The bathroom is functional, though the shower definitely needs repair or replacement. With some improvements, this property could offer a much better stay.

Great place great location perfect for our family

Everything was great about the cabin. Only feedback we would suggest is to align align the doors and put a shower door in versus a curtain because water seem to get on the floor easily

Unit was clean, had all the basics. Nice AC and heat (used both for a wisconsin June...) Nice view. Remote, but close to Eagle River.

Nice small cabin for a getaway

This is a nice 3 bedroom, 1 bath small cabin. The property is easy to get to. It has an open deck/porch that has a table and a grill available. The lake it is on is filling in, so it really isn't meant to be used for boating or swimming. There are basic kitchen items, but definitely inquire or bring your own if you will be using it a lot. Some fixtures didn't work or were old, and the internet wasn't the fastest. Otherwise a good cabin for a little getaway.

Great North Woods Location

This cabin had everything we needed for a week in the woods. It is well located between Eagle River and St. Germain, which were the two places we wanted to visit. I only have one suggestion for an improvement and that would be to provide a few extra towels. We went on an intertubing andeventure and could have used them. Other than that, the cabin was clean, comfortable and we enjoyed the tranquil setting quite a bit.

Wedding weekend

We were in town for a wedding. The place was great! Weather was hot but the ac kept up comfortable. Quiet area with the exception of the evening frog orchestra.
