Location could not have been better, it was within walking distance to the Hemingway House, the butterfly conservatory, shopping and food.The pool was relaxing after a hot day of exploring! Would definitely recommend staying at the Chavez House.

I stayed in this house with three friends on our trip to Key West. The house is in a safe, quiet neighborhood but it's just a few block walk (or Uber) to everything Key West has to offer. The private back yard with the pool was the perfect spot to come back and relax in. The beds were comfy, the house was spotless, and the property management team made sure we had everything we needed. I highly recommend this property if you're headed to Key West. You won't be disappointed.

Best place ever!

Lovely home, great pool, but the shining star is the management company. I honestly didn’t have any issues but they were so kind and welcoming. Our vacation was amazing and started off on the right foot thanks to them!

Lovely Historic Key West Cottage

We rented Chavez House for a short family reunion and the home exceeded expectations. The space easily accommodated 6 adults & an infant. The home was well maintained, and furnished. The back yard with soaking pool was awesome! Highly recommend this charming property.

Chavez House

Great house in good location. Loved the outdoor space. Upstairs bedrooms and bath are comfortable though small and stairs are steep. The street is quiet for Key West! Good restaurants nearby.

Lovely house - good location!

The house is nicely appointed - upscale Key West decor. Small rooms but more than adequate for 6 & very comfortable. Very clean & all necessary amenities supplied. The neighboring homes are very close but that is typical for Key West. The pool is small but big enough to refresh in. The management company was wonderful to work with & very helpful.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The check-in process was extremely easy, efficient and friendly. The home was in great shape upon arrival, clean, tidy and great location. We would definitely stay here again, it was far enough off Duval to have peace and quiet, yet close enough to the action. Landscaping was excellent, outside of residence well kept. Property description was very accurate, the amenities within the home were excellent, light switches could use better labeling, but overall well maintained. Property Management was in constant contact to see if we needed anything, for the home or concierge services - which was nice!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Wow, what a great rental in paradise. All previous reviews are spot on, great rental with no surprises. All the standard stuff you expect to be great is. Plus some personal peeves I have with older properties were non-existent. For example, all sink drains...drained. The propane grill had propane and was cared for and set up for proper use. The ignitor worked. The pool was indeed properly heated. Our air temp during the day was low to mid 70's...the pool was 94 --- so, so comfy. Plenty of pool towels, Ice machine worked great. On street parting was no problem, two great restaurants (Mangia Mangia and Bob's on Margaret) right next door. And so on...In short super property and super responsive guest focused rental management company.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Chavez House was the perfect place for a Key West getaway. It's located on a quiet street but walkable to everything. The house was so clean--totally immaculate upon arrival, and it was well stocked with fresh linens, pool towels, and things like dishwasher and laundry pods. Small samples of Bee Kind toiletries were a nice touch (and if you've never used the lemongrass body wash, it is amazing!). The staff at Historic Key West Vacations is friendly and accommodating, and they make renting easy. The beds were comfy, and the decor has a nice beachy vibe. We loved our stay!

Perfect Location, Good Property

Super location, very responsive management. The water pressure could be better and the backyard looks better in the pictures but overall this is a great spot in the heart of Key West.

Glorious holiday week

We stayed the week of Christmas and had an incredible stay. The house is impeccable, location is perfect and weather was sublime! We enjoyed everything so much we hope to come stay here again!
