Francine and Michel were lovely hosts and their property is unbelievably beautiful, inside and out.Everything you need is available, including the terrace with the view where my husband and I shared many unforgettable meals.Don't pass this up... book it now!

Lovely stay

The property was beautifully appointed - very classic french. We found it a lovely location to explore the Dordogne region and come back to peace and quiet. Hosts were excellent and we survived my not so great language skills.

Heaven in the Dordogne

Beautiful situation with magnificent views. Compact but with everything needed. Furniture and decor in keeping with the property and added to the pleasure of staying there.

Perfect give in Beynac

Everything about this little gite was perfect for a week in the Dordogne area. The walks are very steep, but were easier on my bad knees than steps, and the patio is just as pictured.

Michel and Francine are the perfect hosts. They met us at the house where we were given a very warm welcome and shown around the apartment. We were given complete privacy but felt comfortable they were available if we needed help or there was anything we needed.La Trielle is a beautiful little apartment, perfect for a couple, very thoughtfully designed with everything you could possibly need to make your stay as comfortable as possible and make you feel at home. Located in the centre of the beautiful village of Beynac it has stunning views of the Dordogne river, chateaux and surrounding countryside but is tucked away from the crowds. It's the perfect base for exploring all the Dordogne has to offer.We felt very privileged to stay in such a lovely place. Thank you Michel and Francine for sharing it with us.

Fantastic!

The apartment was tastefully decorated & the best equipped we have been to, with windows looking down to the river & a comfy bed & plenty of wardrobe space. Outside was a lovely terrace shaded by grape vines overlooking the Dordogne. We put our car in the garage & completed some lovely walks or relaxed with wine on the peacefull terrace . The French owners were very welcoming & helpful during our holiday. Note- we must learn more French!

Wonderful!

The apartment was clean, comfortable, and had everything we could need or want, perfect for two people. We spent most of our time outside on the terrace. It is a sun trap with lovely dappled shade from the vines, best of all though was the view, the pictures don't do it justice, they are gorgeous and not just from the terrace but also from within the accommodation. Francine and Michel are the perfect hosts - they even helped to bring our luggage down from the parking space. Access to a parking space is real bonus. We would highly recommend the area, village and accommodation. A wonderful two weeks.

Heaven in Perigord

La Treille was probably our favorite place to stay in 18 years of annual trips to Europe, most of them in France. We had been to the Dordogne before, so we knew that it is a fascinating and spectacularly beautiful region, but to have this perfectly idyllic little flat to enjoy for a week was truly the icing on the cake. And then meeting Francine and Michel, who could not be more delightful, was the icing on the icing. The cobblestone paths leading to the apartment are indeed as steep as other reviewers have said, but the views all along the way are well worth the effort. The only other caveat I would have (especially for Americans who are used to large bathrooms) is that the shower is exactly as shown in the photo - fine for one person of average height and build. Water pressure is surprisingly good and there was always plenty of hot water. We found La Treille to be a stunning little piece of paradise in a stunning village and stunning region. Where else can you watch eight hot air balloons at a time floating past your window, or just walk up a winding medieval staircase from your apartment to a castle? For sheer charm, elegance, friendliness and comfort, La Treille can't be beat. It's an utterly magical experience. We hope to return.

Wir verbrachten eine wunderschöne Woche an der Dordogne, wobei die Qualität des Hauses einen wesentlichen Anteil hatte. Insbesondere die tolle Lage mit der wunderschönen Aussicht war für uns Kriterium für die Auswahl, was sich auch voll bestätigt hat. Hervorzuheben sind auch die Freundlichkeit der Vermieter, der trotz der kleinen Fläche ausreichende Wohnkomfort mit guter Staumöglichkeit und die gute Parkmöglichkeit in der Nähe mit der Unterstützung des Koffertransports in der steilen Hanglage.

Magnifique !

Nous avons passé 1 semaine superbe a la treille.Les gérants ont vraiment pensé à tout pour que nous nous sentions bien.Nous avons reçus un accueil très chaleureux et de très bon conseils de visites. Et autour de Beynac il y a beaucoup de visites !Pour les passionnés d Histoire, amoureux des vieilles pierres ou tout simplement pour découvrir le Périgord noir.

Das Haus ist noch schöner als auf den stimmigen Bildern auf der Homepage. Es war ein wunderbarer Aufenthalt mit hilfsbereiten, angenehmen Gastgebern. Wir liebten die Terrasse mit dem herrlichen Blick auf die Dordogne sowie die feinsinnige Gestaltung der Innenräume. Francine und Michel halfen uns mit dem Gepäck von der Garage zum Haus, das sich auf einem sehr romantischen Grundstück befindet. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt.

Charmant et parfaitement bien situé

Deux semaines merveilleuses a La Treille!

Nous avons passé deux semaines merveilleuses à La Treille. L'appartement est très confortable et aménagé avec goût, depuis la petite cuisine entièrement fonctionnelle jusqu'au lit et aux chaises confortables pour se détendre. Pour nous, un des points forts de La Treille est la belle terrasse ombragée avec vue sur la rivière et la vallée. Nous avons fait nos courses sur les merveilleux marchés, et nous avons profité de nos repas avec une vue imprenable sur la Dordogne ! Michel et Francine sont flexibles, réactifs et accommodants. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié leur aide pour le transfert des bagages, leurs excellentes informations touristiques et leurs guides de randonnées, ainsi que leur aide pour les réservations. Nous espérons revenir l'année prochaine !

Semaine à Beynac et Cazénac

Hôtes très accueillants. Maison petite et chaleureuse décorée avec goût. Très fonctionnelle et bien équipée. La terrasse donnant une vue EXCEPTIONNELLE sur la Dordogne nous a permis des moments de tranquilité et des repas avec une vue à faire rêver. Le village et son château valent plus que le détour car à proximité d'autres villages intéressants et diverses activités. Vive le Périgord où l'on y mange très bien

un vrai nid d’amour

Logement confortable (propreté irréprochable, literie impeccable, calme et bien équipé), charmant (authentique et décoré avec goût), haut perché (vue dominante sur la Dordogne incitant à la contemplation et au 'lâcher-prise'). Magnifique séjour et accueil chaleureux

Dans un cadre magnifique au coeur de Beynac à quelques pas d'un très beau château, nous avons été accueillis par Francine et Michel, des propriétaires attentionnés, disponibles, d'une grande gentillesse qui ont répondu à toutes nos attentes dans un petit havre de paix avec une superbe vue sur la Dordogne. Un séjour inoubliable, des délices de gastronomie du terroir, de splendides panoramas. Un grand grand merci à Francine et Michel! Des hôtes à la hauteur de leur magnifique région.
