Perfect spot!

Second stay and very happy! Great for the family, with the ‘villa’ out the back. Little ones could have a midday snooze in peace.

We had a wonderful stay at Shack 78 Black Point, brought back many memories from my childhood and made many new memories with my own family. The shack was very comfortable, lots of space, lots of beds for those with big family's. Would highly recommend a holiday at Shack 78 Black Point, will definitely stay there again.

Family, special birthday getaway

Perfect holiday destination! Wonderful view. Beachfront is very close. Shack is well-equipped. Swimming, crabbing, kayaking. Will definitely visit again.

An ideal getaway home. Very clean, homely. Perfect location just off the beach. The separate self contained unit is a perfect retreat. Fantastic air conditioner and great showers . With perfect views. Fantastic for families

Above Expectations

Black Point does not disappoint. Kids had a great time & weather was perfect. Easy access to the beach from the shack provides the opportunity to cool off all day if needed.

Amazing place, needs a deep clean.

The place was amazing, black point is a beautiful place to be and being right on the beach was so nice. The shack itself is nicer than the photos do justice, but there were some cleanliness and safety issues. Blind cords were not fixed in the bunk room. The sliding door closer is cool but not safe with small children. Washing machine seal was covered in black mold, lamps in master bedroom didn't work and floors especially under bed were very dusty. But overall really enjoyed our stay

What a gem!

This was a lovely shack that was very well equipped. Located well along the point. Jo's communication was fantastic and made everything seamless. Would love to stay again!

Magical

A weekend away with the family - you can not beat this location! Kids played all day on the beach while we sat on the deck. Calm waters, magical sunsets, lots of wildlife and beautiful scenery. We will definitely be back!

beach house bliss

The listing describes the place well but words cannot do the setting justice, we relaxed to minutes we sat on the edge of the deck, toes in the sand, glass in hand and looking straight out to the ocean.....just perfect Pete and Annie

Fantastic little getaway

Thank you Jo for such a fantastic stay. With the grandparents staying in the cottage out the back and our little family in the front house we all had a ball. Our little 3 year old didn’t leave the beach from morning-sunset and we were comfortably watching her from the deck. We would love to come back ❤️

Slip into the zone...

The website pics don’t show the beautiful newly renovated three bathrooms at this property. In fact the website modestly undersells this shack. There was plenty of wildlife (a daily swim-by from an impressive Ray included), perfect swimming straight off the deck, a large covered deck perfect for watching the weather and passers-by. The shack is well equipped (byo canoes and paddle boards as the location is perfect for this). Unfortunately the next door neighbours wanted a new room on their shack by Xmas so we had building works going on quite late (the builders were lovely tho’) which was a bit annoying. The owners were also easy to communicate with, responsive, thoughtful and considerate. On the whole - would we rebook - in a heartbeat!

Fantastic time with the family!! Kids absolutely loved the beach and swimming.. nice relaxing time..

Had a great time fishing, swimming, snorkeling and relaxing on the spacious deck!! Would recommend it to anyone!! Black Point is one of the most beautiful places not only in Australia but the world!!

We loved our stay at black point. Excellent shack and awesome sun deck with adequate facilities and you can launch your dinghy from there too.
