Very nice place. Very friendly property managers. The neighborhood was very quiet. There is a nice park right beside the house.

We went to Melvern to go boating. We got rained out and spent a lot of time in the house. They have games in the cabinet. There is a fire pit in the garage and a place to get firewood close by. We have stayed here before and we plan to stay again!

it was clean and pleasant. liked the location. hot water was fast. kitchen was easy to use. outer doors need some work. living room was comfortable.

Kozy Landing

We enjoyed our stay at Kozy Landing. We were in the area for a wedding and it provided a good break in our travels. The house worked well for two couples and we found everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. Robert gave us a recommendation for dinner, which turned out to be delicious. The locals we met in the neighborhood were all very friendly. We loved Melvern Lake and visited its walking paths twice. We also liked the Melvern Marina. There were a few things that caused this rating to be good rather than excellent. First, we were disappointed that the grass had not been cut around the property. it was quite long. We were also surprised to find so many stains on the carpet throughout the home. All in all, we enjoyed our visit and the town of Melvern.

Great place to stay. Wonderful town!

The host were super nice. They were more than accommodating. I wish I had been staying here on my previous trips to Kansas. I love the hospitality and all of the nice people in Melvern!

Small Town Getaway

Great stay in Melvern, right next to plenty of green space and community park. Very clean, with a short drive to lake amenities.

Convenient stay close to lake

Robert is wonderful and has excellent communication. The garage is very nice for safe, enclosed parking. Playground within walking distance. There are train tracks less than a football field away. Trains run through the night. If you're not accustomed to the sound of train horns, it may be a long night. Other than that, this VRBO was a convenient stay as we were meeting family at melvern lake!

Was in town for the weekend and this home was just perfect. Great communications throughout and owner was extremely helpful and accommodating! Would definitely recommend!

Family lake trip

Great hosts - easy to work with and responsive. The house is old, but clean and well stocked. Note the earplugs provided – you may want them at night for the train that goes through at least hourly. Also – the AC works great, but it is a window unit in the living room not central air, so you may need an extension cord to run a fan in the bedroom (fans available on site). We kept the bedroom door open and were comfortable. We would stay again – it was far better than the tents the rest of our family stayed in on a hot night!

Exceptionally clean and a well maintained older home. It worked great as a base for turkey hunting.

Like Family

The house was warm, inviting and felt like visiting family. Robert was great to meet and made the process very simple. The garage was great addition as we were there to fish and had one stormy day that allowed us to keep everything dry.

There is no place in the area to spend the night. Families coming in for the holidays, hunters, fishermen, travelers This will help out our community if folks stay in our town & not have to drive 20 - 30 miles to stay some where else. This helps our local businesses
