Short stay at Ocean Sounds

We loved our stay - lovely swimming pool and ocean views and lovely ocean sounds to wake up to in the morning. A great location from which to explore the nearby national parks, walking trails and beaches.

The accommodation was clean and well located, with great views of the ocean. The only slight issue was the squeaky bed, but overall I would recommend this place.

Lovely private apartment in a bushland setting, with a beautiful view out over Trial Bay and the Ocean, adjoining the National Park. We loved the apartment and the area and would happily stay there again..

4 day getaway not far from home!

Perfect spacious place in a great location. Up high & out of the way for peace & quiet but super close to all the main parts by car. Beautiful private pool surrounded by nature & ocean sounds in the distance.

Perfect place

Tina's property is absolutely perfect. It's incredibly clean, and has the most amazing uninterrupted views of the ocean and gaol. We loved how quiet it was all the time. Wish we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!

A little slice of paradise

The property is so comfortable, roomy, and well appointed - nothing has been forgotten. It is wonderfully located with stunning views, your own private luxury resort, a tropical paradise, so tranquil and peaceful!! Tina and Chris were warm, friendly and extremely helpful. Wow, wow, wow! Thank you Tina and Chris for opening up your property for guests. My husband surprised me with a 2 night stay- pity it wasn't longer. The views to the ocean either side of the magnificent pool and cabana area -breathtaking. The fruit bread and butter was a welcome treat. High praise all round ***

Sublime views from every window. Comfortable with everything you need. Just need to follow the location details when arriving as the address details can be misleading!

The view, pool and peacefulness says it all. The apartment was spotless and the supply of a few essentials was a thoughtful touch, indicative of our lovely host, Tina. A great bolthole for a recharge.

Hilltop Paradise

Ocean sounds was an absolute dream. The view was even better than in the pictures and we spent hours just staring out at the vista. The hardest decision was which side to put the chairs on! Loved seeing butterflies and birds in the trees and even spied a roo one morning. The pool was just the cherry on top and we loved laying down by it reading and staring out at the gorgeous view. The accommodation itself was beautiful, simple and clean. The bed was really comfortable and we totally understand why it's called Ocean Sounds! The sounds of the waves and beautiful breeze was just heavenly. Kitchen had everything we needed and lots extra special little touches around to add the whole experience. Honestly we can't wait to come back!

Great place for couples with beautiful views, convenient to beach, shops and walks. Immaculately clean and the bonus use of the pool. Easy check in and nice little treats in the fridge. Would definitely stay again

Thoughtfully cosy

My now husband and I went up the coast for our mini honeymoon, and Tina was incredibly accommodating and kind. Her instructions were clear and concise, and her recommendations for local eateries were on point. Our favourite feature of the place was the pool. It was secluded and lovely to spend the day. Would highly recommend this place to stay!

Unbelievable experience, can’t wait to come back one day soon.

I grew up in Sweden but have lived in South West Rocks with my Australian husband since the early 90's. We travel a lot as a family and decided that we would share our piece of paradise with other travellers. Living here one has to make the most of the outdoors and we certainly do. I ride a road bike, run and ocean swim and of course walk miles and miles along the local beaches with my dogs. My husband surfs, plays golf and tennis. However, there is always time to sit with a coffee on the verandah, just enjoying the view. Nothing beats it! Come and explore our part of the world. You won't be disappointed.
