The view here is amazing! The room is perfect place to lay your head after being out and about all day. It’s a very minimal room, but that’s what keeps the cost down. The communication and response from staff was great and they acted fast. They are still remodeling some parts and some could use some finishing, but We would stay again.

Beach trip

The proximity to the beach and various locations in Lincoln City was lovely! Do keep in mind there is a fairly steep walk down to the beach but the view was incredible. It is an older building but everything was clean.

Nice affordable getaway.

Although 10am is too early for a check out time, me and my lady enjoyed our time at Sandstone. The room was simple and minimal. No dressers and only 1 night stand. Beach access was a little precarious, rocky and steep. But we enjoyed our stay. Perfect place for vacationers taking in the sights and the foodies who have minimalist expectations.

Cons: 10am check out time is way too early. No dresser, small closet to store your clothes. Only 1 night stand. Pros. Quiet, dog friendly, decent beach access, gorgeous view, close to local dining and shops.

It fit the bill for what we needed, but not the greatest for sure

We visited our daughter and figured on eating out every evening and morning so we did not need kitchen facilities. This place is a motel room; a tired, shabby motel room that had seen way better days (long ago). It was relatively clean and the bed was one of the best we've experienced as we like firm beds and there were no troughs along the edges where innumerable people have slept like most beds in motels/hotels. However, the baseboard moldings were shopworn, there were patched holes in the walls, the sliding door was very, very difficult to move (rollers need lubrication) and the lock was broken. Instead we had a broomstick cut to length to keep the door closed. Outside the place also has a very tired, dated feel and look and is in dire need of paint. All that being said, we'd probably chose this place again next time we visit if we don't need kitchen facilities.

Its not fancy...

... but we come for the view! This is the 2nd time we have stayed in the Seahorse building. It provides exactly what we need... a place to get away from the drudgery of life and THAT VIEW! We are happy to just sit on the balcony and watch the surf, listen to the waves, and smell the air. We will be back!

Cozy

Kind of loud just because you're right next to all the maintenance and laundry and the stairwell but aside from that it was super clean, beautiful view, very close to the beach. Checking in and out was super simple as well. We were really happy with our stay!

the location is excellent! and the view is spectacular! the sound of the waves, priceless!

nice! Could use a little deeper cleaning. But overall, good and we would stay again at this property! We have in the past and will be back again! We had a couple of different heavy footed neighbors, but that can happen anywhere!

View is incredible- mattress is awful

The view is beautiful and you can hear the ocean. The bed was rock hard and the bed linens reeked of body odor. Both should be replaced. I love this little condo but would not stay again due to the shape my back is in after multiple nights on that bed and I bought my own linens and pillows and used them during my stay. Bummer because the location is perfect.

Absolutely beautiful view and was a great place! Loved it! Will be back!

Went for a mini vacation and just slept there pretty much. But I did have to contact the manager no one responded whatever. But 2 story’s above me was a rude jerk and was throwing gallons of water over the patio and garbage like he didn’t have one in his place. I was just annoyed cause it happened within hours of each other. I hate littering. But other then that is was great! And the bed was a rock but I can’t complain lol. Thanks for the stay. God bless!

Great Place to stay. Location is perfect and the view is awesome.

The new floor was a plus the carpet last time we stayed was really old the new laminate was a nice upgrade. All in all great place to stay will always stay here.

Great view and location...horrible neighbors; walls are very thin

The view from the room and private balcony was amazing!!! You cannot put a price on the view or the proximity to the beach. The room was well stocked with lots of towels too!!! However; the people in the room directly above us were TERRIBLE. It sounded like they were moving furniture and dropping heavy items on the floor all night. We would finally fall asleep and they would be at it again. We did not sleep the ENTIRE time we were there. Also, since we had an end until with stairs attatched to the outside of our wall, kids would be running up and down all day; sounded like a heard of elephants in our room. Overall; besides the sleep deprivation, we were pleased with the location.

Perfect for doggy day at the beach

I love this place. Certainly not the fanciest on the coast, but perhaps one of the most dog friendly. My room had a balcony with a wonderful beach view and a fireplace, and beach access is just a few steps and a short walk away. That's really all we need. And this place gives all that to us at an incredibly affordable rate. When I bring my dog, this is my first choice, every time.
