The house was beautiful and extremely comfortable. Everything we needed was provided. The pool and beach area was very usable. We would definitely rent this villa again. We also love the Rum Point and Kaibo Yacht Club area. It’s much quieter than 7-mile beach and the drive to town isn’t bad.

Breathtakingly Beautiful Beach House!!!!

We can't say enough about this beautiful beach house. It was such a gorgeous house and the pool was awesome and the beach and area were perfect for our spring break with our family. We will definitely be back!

Excellent House in Great Location

We were 5 couples of friends who had booked a few years ago and finally got to visit after the island being closed due to pandemic precautions. Moon Kai was a perfect house for all of us. The bedrooms and bathrooms were very clean and nice. The house had all of the amenities that we needed. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals when we needed to. We had Chef Remy at rentachefcayman.com come one night, and that was fantastic. The screened in porch and pool area is very nice. We used the pool quite a bit just to lounge and chill. The beach is beautiful and there is some snorkeling just off of the beach, although bring water shoes because of the jellies and other animals (goes pretty much for anywhere in Cayman). Several of us were divers and were able to easily drive to the dive boats. A couple of us fly fished for bonefish just off of the shore. The house is located next to a bioluminescent bay, and the house has 4 kayaks you can use to paddle over there at night, The Cayman Kayak tour is fun too and recommended. Groceries are a decent drive, and the Rum Point beach restaurant area is still under construction from the hurricane, which was a bummer. Overall, great house and location. Suggest renting a car so you can get places and to the store.

Dream Family Getaway Home

We arrived after dark with our family of 9 including 3 children ages 8, 7, and 5. It was exciting enough to see the inside of this beautiful home and choosing who would sleep where. Awaking the next morning to see the pool and beach was everything we expected and more. The location is ideal if you want quiet and privacy. If you want to do lots of things in Georgetown it is a drive, so this is something to consider. We went into town only one day and ate at restaurants that were closer to the home. The home was spotless with all the amenities you could want. Moon Kai is well represented on the website. The beds are very comfortable and inviting. Kitchen was very well equipped. The house even had an elevator which we used a few times for fun. We did have an issue with the ice maker and after calling it took 2 days for it to be fixed. The kids especially loved the pool and beach. We were a little disappointed when walking into the water that it was very lumpy, we think due to the crabs. There was also a considerable amount of seaweed. Having said that we did enjoy the beach and the ability to just walk out the front door. The kayaks and paddle boards included were fun for all. The views were spectacular! The short walk to Rum Point was a plus. We went for lunch one day and a nice dinner another. If we were to go back to Grand Cayman we would definitely go to back to Moon Kai. Definitely a place to relax.

That was a great vacation!

We stayed in Moon Kai for a whole week around Thanksgiving with the whole family, all 13 of us. The house is big, well furnished, enough bedrooms with bathrooms. Master suite was indeed a Master Suite. Pool awesome for the grandkids. The beach and ocean were literally steps away and ready for kayaking, swimming and walking. Very quiet neighborhood away the crazy 7 mile beach area with the cruise ships and too many tourists. So if you like beautiful, quiet and spacious, you got it here in Moon Kai! We loved it. We highly recommend to hire Linda as a cook. She did awesome job and being home again, we miss the treat of having someone to make meals and do the shopping!

Beautiful, Immaculate, well-equipped and maintained.

My family and I have rented a house for a week, every year for the past 8+ years. (Most recently Dominican, Turks and Caicos, Cozumel, Hawaii, etc) Your property is one of the most immaculate, thoughtfully laid out, well-equipped and maintained, places in which we have stayed. The ocean view was beautiful! The screened-in porches allowed us to enjoy the sunset and dining al fresco without concerns of mosquitoes or other bugs. The dining table was large enough to comfortably fit all 12 of us. The common room A/C allowed us more time together instead of retreating to our rooms mid day to cool off. And the management company, was pleasant, responsive and professional. We went scuba diving, snorkeling, boat to stingray city and many of these outings were conveniently located at Rum Point, a walk or one minute drive away. We visited Spotts Beach and saw 6 sea turtles. A truly wonderful vacation with something for everyone!

Comfortable, roomy home!

This is the perfect house if you are looking to be on the "quieter" side of the island! We enjoyed being able to walk down to Rum Point for quick access to water sports and to get some drinks and a tasty lunch! All thoroughly enjoyed having a private pool, and the kids really enjoyed the kayaks. This property works well for multiple families, because all bedrooms are private with their own bathroom. The only issue we experienced during our stay was the main master suite air conditioner failed. The property manager was VERY responsive and the unit was completely replaced the next day. So, any previous reviews you read about that issue ... should be resolved! We will return to the beautiful island of Grand Cayman!

peaceful, quiet setting, house was fabulous - stocked kitchen with all you could need. Awesome sunsets, pool used each day. Comfy bdrms-private baths. Screened porch used each day, inside furnishings very comfortable. 4 kayaks a plus. only issue, air conditioning not working in upstairs hallway where grand kids were staying...TOO HOT, ended up sleeping in their parents bed. were told part was ordered but never fixed in the 2 woks we were renting. Day 4 the manager bought a floor fan to move the air in hallway. Would def rent again- but need air conditioning fixed. would give a 5 star if air cond. were working. Thnaks you to the owners for sharing your beautiful spot on one of our favorite islands!

just...WOW!

From the moment we pulled in the driveway my jaw was on the floor. And it just kept getting better. We stayed in the main house of Moon Kai for about a week with 5 couples. It was more than enough space. Our bedroom (with an en suite full bath) was on the first floor and even with 9 other people in the house you couldn't hear a sound- and I went to bed early every night. From our bedroom there was an attached porch with a view overlooking the white sand into the ocean. It was like our own little piece of heaven. Waking up to that view never got old. Every morning we thought how lucky we were to be there. The common areas were spacious and had the most comfortable furniture and the kitchen was great to cook in. There was plenty of room for all of us to stretch out on the sectional- when we weren't spending time outdoors. The pool area was incredible. The beach pristine. I loved the greenery surrounding the property it made you feel like no one else was around. There were plenty of activities to keep us busy. Some days we would walk down the beach and snorkel our way back, others we would stop at Rum Point for cocktails. We chartered a boat that took us to sting ray city, snorkeling, then to a shoreline that was peppered with giant red star fish. It was the coolest experience ever. I'll never forget this vacation, it's at the top of my list.

Spectacular Property

The only problem with this fabulous house is that you will not want to leave it to venture around the island. Accommodated two families exceedingly well. Held an intimate wedding under the twin palms steps from the pool deck and thoroughly enjoyed Rosie's catering for our nuptials celebration! Thanks for the Rosie recommendation by Jim and his crew. Wonderful memories made and a plan in the works for the return.

This place is amazing!

The pictures online of Moon Kai do not do this place justice. Everything I read about was delivered beyond our expectations. The main house has a perfect layout to entertain and interact. Our stay was great! We had a flawless experience. The pool and beach were spectacular and clean. I would highly recommend staying at Moon Kai. This house must be one of the best on the island; secluded, intimate setting. Perfect.

UNBELIEVABLE!

Words cannot even begin to describe how unbelievable this vacation home is. My husband and I arrived with friends and could not believe our eyes when we walked through the door! I have been to the Caymans many times before, but have never quite experienced it like this. Everything in this house was designed with perfection in mind, and I think they definitely succeeded. Everything from the king sized beds, salt water infinity pool, and amazing sunsets right outside your back door made this trip unforgettable. I CANNOT wait until our next trip to Moon Kai!

If you are looking for the perfect property to rent in Cayman Kai look no further than Moon Kai! I was in awe of this house from the moment I walked through the doors - it was immaculate, has an ideal layout, an amazing pool and deck and the location and sunset views are spectacular! Our group was several couples traveling together and each of us getting a private, perfectly air conditioned, king room with attached en suite and private deck with view was so wonderful. The kitchen was spacious and fully equipped and I loved that there was an outside dining table that sat all 12 of us within the screened-in porch. Just taking a walk down the beach it is easy to see that Moon Kai has the best landscaped beach front around! I loved how we could layout at the pool or on the sand and feel like we had our own private beach front. The view of the sunset was a highlight each night, you can watch it perfectly from Moon Kai! I really cannot say enough wonderful things about this property, I would recommend it to anyone - couples, families with children, and seniors (the house even has an elevator to the upstairs!). I really enjoyed being away from the crowded and touristy West Bay, but liked still being able to walk to restaurants and beach bars at Rum Point. This house is in walking distance to the Rum Point dock where you can book excursions such as boating to Sting Ray City which I also highly recommend! Hopefully we will find ourselves back in Grand Cayman soon and when we do, we will definitely be staying at Moon Kai!
