We are Jason & Lisa, your hosts of Diggers Beach Cottage. We have recently renovated our holiday getaway and have taken care to make sure it's a true escape house where you can relax inside or enjoy the private and secluded garden area outside.
We hope you will enjoy all the special little extra touches included in the cottage to make you feel at home.

About Our Accommodation

Our freshly renovated accommodation is located in the beach suburb of Diggers Beach. Only a few minutes drive from central Coffs Harbour.

Diggers Beach Cottage is a 3 bedroom house that sleeps up to 6 people with an option of 1 extra guest.

The main bedroom features a Queen bed, air conditioning and ensuite.

Chefs and cooks will be pleased with the new Asko appliances in the kitchen. Equipped with an induction hub and steam oven. As well as, fully stocked crockery, utensils and all the basic appliances. To make sure you’re indulging in between cooking, we provide a Nespresso coffee machine and a range of Red Sparrow loose leaf teas.

If you’re a cook that enjoys an audience while you prepare your gourmet meal, your companions will have front row seats at the beautiful Corian island bench with plenty of stools.

From the kitchen, walk through the beautiful timber bi fold doors to the private landscaped courtyard for alfresco dining.

The kitchen flows seamlessly into the open plan living area, ideal for dining and entertaining with family and friends. We provide free NBN wifi, books, DVD’s and boardgames.

Step outside to the short beach track that takes you to Diggers Beach and a public reserve. Fantastic locations for unwinding with a walk on the beach or a picnic after a swim. No need to take the car to the beach! Enjoy this luxury in your beachside home away from home on the Coffs Coast.

We’re Next Door To Coffs Coast Hidden Gem

Many of our guests love to explore the Coffs Coast and we are located 100m from a natural undiscovered beauty of Charlesworth Bay.

A quiet protected bay that is located within a 5 minute walk across the headland from Diggers Beach Cottage, Charlesworth Bay is often the forgotten beach in Coffs Harbour and this is why we love it.

Charlesworth Bay has a relatively protected north east facing beach, just 500m in length. The Bay is protected from the south by the 40m high Diggers Headland (our favourite headland for walks and exploring) with smaller Fowlers Head to the north.

This secluded bay and its backing valley are now largely occupied by Pacific Bay Resort. A road runs to the southern end of the beach where an old boat shed now shares the beach with international tourists.

Between the resort and the beach was a small lagoon with its shallow creek crossing the southern end of the beach, however this has since been diverted and the lagoon made into a centre piece of the resort.

The walking paths and tracks behind the Bay form part of the Solitary Islands coastal walk that commences at Sawtell and finishes up at Moonee Beach. This walk is a must for visitors to the Coffs Coast if only to discover the rainforest and headlands around Diggers Beach and Korora.

Many previous guests of Diggers Beach Cottage have left comments on how close we are to Charlesworth Bay and how much they have loved this particular area.

With carparking, public amenities and BBQ’s under the shady trees just behind the dunes, Charlesworth Bay offers a unique and beautiful experience for our visitors wanting to escape the more popular Park Beach and Jetty beaches.

It’s not unusual to see a small, intimate wedding around the Bay or for wildlife lovers we would recommend spending some time on the headland as there is a high chance to see a wallaby or one of our resident echidnas.
