Enjoyable Retreat

We had a great stay, the fire pit outside was great fun and the views to the lake were tranqil. Was a great weekend and Anna was a pleasure to deal with.

Wonderful winter stay

We had a great Winter short break. Loved the serenity of the property, the view, proximity to the lake. The house was clean, comfortable and well-stocked. We would definitely recommend it and plan to stay again.

Fabulous Location!

Went with teenage family and some of their friends. Lots of outdoor activities to do and a short trip to beach.

Great for family

Excellent in most respects. Lovely outlook over lake. The pool table was great as were the kyacks. There were 2 very friendly ducks and even a bandicoot. Place was well equipped, however I'm yet to stay anywhere that supplies a working vacumme cleaner.

Lakeside paradise

Wonderful weekend getaway with friends. The house is spacious, and the outside area rolling down to the lakeside is idyllic. Looks better than the photos! Strongly recommend.

Great location and view, loved the fireplace

Anna was very easy to communicate with in regards to our booking and check in. The location and view are great. Its an older house but suited us fine for a large family group. The driveway was not for the faint hearted, but we managed it. The beds downstairs in the bunk room could maybe do with updated mattresses but the other beds were fine. Quite an interesting downstairs bathroom :) Just a short walk to the beach and local cafe's. Very friendly locals.

The house is lovely,,yard and driveway not suitable for little ones or oldies,,,lots of steps to get to the water ...we had people walk down the driveway and through the vacant block next door to walk along the water edge we had dogs in the back yard ..

Long weekend

Yes this property has direct lake access but what isn’t shown in any of the photos is the steep stairs leading from the house down to the lake which meant some of our party couldn’t walk down to the lake. I would t have booked this property had I known this in advance. You always expect to pay more over a public holiday long weekend but I think this property is over priced for what it was which was dated. Little things like bedroom walls not going up to the ceiling would have been handy to know about as this is an issue if not all your party members go to bed at the same time. Fan didn’t work in the upstairs bedroom. Tv remote control was a bit hit and miss. Yes they are little things but when you are spending a lot of money over a public holiday weekend for a four night stay, I expected better.

This is our second visit at the property, set up well for short family break from Sydney. Family really enjoyed the lakeside location, fire pit, canoes and pool table.

Review

The house actually presented better in the photos than it did in life. However; the layout did work brilliantly for our teen children (not quite glamorous enough though, for us adults!). The outlook from indoors was picturesque. Unfortunately there was a stench coming from the lagoon which we noticed when we sat outside or swam in it. We didn’t expect this. The kayaks did somewhat redeem. For the children at least!

Wonderfully relaxing stay

A great spot with beautiful outlook. Renovated kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable, stylish, clean and tidy. Location is amazing. Only one thing to improve: two of the four on-site kayaks are missing the plugs that keep the water out. We would have brought our own, had we known. Otherwise a brilliant stay.

Not for the elderly

If you have good knees and a level of fitness this place is fantastic! It has everything you could want. Only draw back were the steep stairs.

Lakeside getaway

We came up for a weekend away for my partners 40th, with all the borders closed this was a great distraction from everything going on in the world. The place was perfect for our group, we had our 5 month of with us and we’re able to still get her to sleep while the rest of us enjoyed dinner in the dining room. The fire pit was an amazing feature, again you couldn’t hear anyone down there from the house so it work out perfectly for our group. Such a beautiful setting, we had a great time and it was the perfect weekend away! Thank you!

Ticked so many boxes with a few quirks

This place really ticked all the boxes for our 2 families only let down by slight issue with cob webs and steep awkward drive way - there is must needed backyard lighting BUT so many positives that made this place perfect for us. Being right on the lagoon was fun and hours of entertainment as well as only being leisurely walk down to the beach. Anna was fantastic and always on hand for any calls or enquires
