NY Yankee Spring Training vacation

The location was perfect, 12 minutes to the airport and 15 minutes to Steinbrenner Stadium. The accommodations were excellent and we had all we needed. We would love to stay here again next year!

We enjoyed the stay

The large kitchen island was very useful for setting up food/snacks, the living room with the tv had plenty of couches for us to sit together without feeling cramped, the dining area was useful for our tabletop games, and we enjoyed being able to adjust the thermostat during the night. It was also convenient being close to a Wawa.

Great Place!

A warm and wonderful home for the family to relax and make memories! Anything you could need is here…and close to Walmart, Publix, and Target so you can stock up on groceries for your stay! Laundry, kitchen, all the kitchen gadgets you can imagine, swimming, TV/movies/wifi in the evening… We loved it! Thank you for such a great time!!!

A great place and a great time!

My family went here for a special Christmas trip, we are from Michigan, New York and Colorado, this location fit our needs perfectly....but, the pool was very cold, they did state up front that it is NOT heated, so we were aware. I would definitely stay here again, it had everything you could need in the kitchen and is ready to be enjoyed by all.

The pool heating equipment doesn't have enough clearance between the home and the fence so we couldn't get a contractor to install it but the pool is still swimmable for those from up north :) and our summers in the pool are fantastic. Come visit us again!

Homey but needs quite a bit of care.

This property was adequate has good potential, roomy, pool was nice. We had fun however the total upkeep of property was not what we are used to.

Deborah booked our rental impulsively for her kid's tournament but instantly wanted to cancel complaining about her VRBO booking experience. It's hard to please someone with an unhappy nature complaining about things beyond our control prior to her stay. Very relaxing, comfortable

Nice property with some great amenities, the pool is fun! The exterior needs a bit of TLC, things like updating the furniture in the yard and pool area and having someone take a good look at the landscaping that has been let go. None of this would deter me from staying here.

Great stay pregraduation getaway with my oldest neice

House was beautiful and very comfortable that being said although the house was not dirty per say the counters and casio were a bit sticky so maybe talk with the house keeper about doing a bit more care in wiping things down. And maybe abit more care for the yard maintenance.overall was a great place to stay we enjoy our time in this lovely home and would come back again

Decent place

The place did the trick for my group. The bedrooms were decent, the TV room was nice, kitchen was ok, and pool and yard were average at best. We didn’t actually use the pool because it was too cold. Communication with renter was ok as well. Overall, if you’re not looking for something fancy, this place is a good value.

Our stay at this home was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by how unique and thoughtfully designed the space was. Every detail was carefully considered, creating an atmosphere that was both cozy and stylish.The home had everything we needed and more—comfortable beds, a fully stocked kitchen, and all the little touches that made our stay effortless. The host clearly put a lot of effort into making this a perfect getaway, providing great accommodations and ensuring we had everything to feel right at home.The location was ideal, offering both privacy and convenience. Whether we were relaxing indoors or exploring the area, we felt completely at ease. House needs updating. No pool heater...difficult owner..mattresses are worn out..carpets really old

Not clean..house is rundown..no pool heater..outdoors not clean..blinds were broken..windows and mirrors were dirty..window coverings were frayed and did not match. Cannot recommend

Unfortunately, sometimes we host guests that are so negative, that they can't see anything to be happy about. The listing clearly states the pool is Not heated because our winters are typically mild & our pool matches Clearwater Beach water temperature and we offer a fire pit outside and fireplace inside. Her stay started with complaints that although the home was SPOTLESS and CLEAN, the floors were still a little damp and they tracked some mud inside. Then she switched the thermostat from AC to Heat to AC 42 degrees and the HVAC unit choked up. It just needed to be turned off for a few minutes to reset and we even scheduled a tech to come over on January 1st to confirm our unit works great but again, there was no pleasing her. One of her friends in the group complimented our spacious kitchen but Cheryl didn't even mention it in her review. We did a deep cleaning before her arrival as we do before each new year and we had the carpets shampooed so everything mentioned was just her way to show her anger. Quite sad! I would definitely Not recommend her. Those of us who like to surround ourselves with positive vibes, please know that we have saged our home thoroughly after her departure and we have welcomed GOOD Positive vibes in... God bless!

Tampa house

House is a great size for large groups. Very convenient location to access the airport. Kitchen well stocked with appliances. Dishwasher needs to be replaced. The interior of the house needs to be painted. All flooring is great. Biggest disappointment was the yard & pool. Northern people like us look for a nice pool and area to spend time outdoors. Pool is in poor shape and the pool service did little to clean the pool. The pictures on website of garden area are outdated. They show a lush garden area with nice seating. Reality is overgrown worn landscaping with broken and moldy furniture as well as moldy pool toys. We purchased chairs for pool. Hosts were very nice and responsive.

Glad you appreciated the well stocked kitchen and our conveniently located pool home in Tampa. We have just updated the listing with pictures of the new beautiful and weather-resistant sturdy HDPE outdoor chairs and hopefully these last much longer. The pool needs a coat of cement and this cosmetic work was temporarily postponed due to sky-high material cost. All our guests have enjoyed the perfectly balanced large pool with a perfect water level. Lovely and accommodating!!

You couldn’t ask for better hosts, they respond quick, are understanding, and thoughtful! I stayed during Mother’s Day with children and family and we all had a blast! They had EVERYTHING you could think of in the a house you would need; from first aid kits, children toys and adult games, EVERY COOKING NEED known to man for both kids and adults! The pool was so fun and exciting to be in. We played games and were in the pool all day, there was pool toys to accommodate the family & there is a deep end in case your wondering! The privacy is nice also! The location is literally 2mins away from Walmart/walking distance, conveniently located near gas stations and restaurants you will need/want. The neighborhood was nice and quiet. It is fair to say the home and electronics are outdated (which nothing is wrong with that!) but something to take into consideration. Overall we were pleased and our needs were met to our satisfaction. Our family loved the idea of the bottle messages and the guestbook singing!! I’m sure there are many more guests who will return for more fun and relaxation! Also, the ability to dim the lights are SO COOL!!! A special thank you to the great hosts! ☺️☺️☺️

Family Visit

Could the outside and pool area use a little TLC?...yes Are parts of the inside a little 'worn'?...yes BUT, this house was very clean, very comfortable, the property manager is very responsive, the water in the large pool is clear and clean, the tropical landscaping and privacy fence make the backyard feel secluded, the neighbors are quiet, the lake area is a nice place to walk. We were very much at home here and would have rented it for Christmas but it was already booked. Helen

We lived in this home until just a few years ago when they both left for college and now they are back managing our vacation rentals in Florida.

This is our wonderful home centrally located 1/4 miles from the Veterans Expressway which connects to Interstate 4 and 275 for an easy commute to downtown and everywhere in the Tampa Bay area.
