What a wonderful week in St. Lucia! Simon's apartment is absolutely lovely and the communication was great. Very spacious, well furnished and equipped with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The view is spectacular! You have a sweeping view of gorgeous Marigot Bay from the bedroom and the balcony, where we spent a lot of our time watching the boats come and go and all the action in the marina. Having access to Zoetry to use the pool and restaurants is a nice perk. Pauline, the property manager, is lovely and very welcoming. She booked airport transfers for us and a great boat trip with her husband, Cornelius. Highly recommend! If you want to enjoy a comfortable stay in a beautiful spot, this is it. Wonderful place in a great location!

The Apartment is really beautiful! Right in the heart of the Marina with an amazing view into the bay. From the cozy balcony you can see all the different boats and yachts coming in, see the sunset or sunrise or just feel the energy of the locals as they go about their lifes. The apartment is beautiful decorated, has all the amenities you might need, everything needed to cook, make coffee or tea, ceiling fans, AC's , washer & dryer. You are right in the center of Marigot with a coffee shop downstairs, small supermarket, different restaurants right next to the apartment, car renting place, excursion shops and if you want to, you can even use the facilities in the 5* Zoetry Marigot Bay Hotel next to it.To be honest, for us the Apartment was perfect, way better than any hotel and the bed is also nicer than in many 4* hotels.Pauline our contact person was great, always available to answer my multiple questions and extremely helpful so that we could have the best time on the island.I highly recommend Simons Apartment as it made our stay on the island absolutely unforgettable and we will definitely book it again when we come back to St. Lucia .

Great apartment, beautiful view!

My husband & I stayed 6 nights at this Marigot Bay apartment and just loved it!! Highly recommend! The apartment is spacious & clean & comfortable. And the windows!! So many windows all with views of the bay & the water! And the most lovely breeze blows through the apartment to make it feel so comfortable. We loved the balcony && watching all the activities in the bay but also loved how quiet it was at night. Beautiful place & best location. We hope to enjoy it again one day! Pauline the property manager is so helpful & willing to help with questions or booking a driver to pick you up. We really enjoyed our stay!

Peaceful stay in wonderful location

Property was superb spacious and so quiet, being top floor. View was so interesting boat and people watching. Zoetry was also lovely, can use their towels. You will need to go further than the little portakabin for supplies like bread and milk.

Awesome island and awesome location

We were right on the bay and absolutely loved getting up in the morning and watching the activity of the boats! Marigot is the perfect location with easy access to both the north and south sides of the island for day trips... either by land or by water! Access to Marigot Bay resort amenities was a huge plus and there is easy access to 6-7 restaurants all within a short walk or water taxi ride! We will definitely try to come back and stay here again!

Wonderful apartment, amazing views

We just returned from spending 2 weeks in this wonderful apartment. Loved the location. The apartment is spacious and airy - the best spot on the marina. During down times, the activity in the marina and bay provide great entertainment and views. Several dining options nearby or if you choose to have a meal in, everything you need is provided. Pauline, the property manager, is very responsive and helpful. We really enjoyed our vacation here.

Best view in Marigot Bay

An awesome spot to spend a rainy or sunny day. Beautiful boats coming in and out of the harbor, very active view of Marigot bay. Pauline was super helpful with all questions and booking excursions, resort amenities were a great plus as well, highly recommend the Marigot resort spa and everything they have to offer. A trip to the market to grab soap, sunscreen, snacks, etc. is necessary if you don’t pack them. Loved our stay!

Best location for peace

The gem and highlight of this apartment is Pauline and Cornelius who manage it. So friendly and helpful. Apartment is exactly as advertised. Kitchen is very well stocked. This part of the island is close enough to things but so peaceful. The access to the pool and rest of the resort is amazing. Even the driver (Lance) is so incredibly friendly. All around 5 star.

Perfect stay

We absolutely loved our stay. The apartment is very spacious and comfortable but what really sets it apart is the location - the views over the bay, the sunsets, the boat life are all just wonderful. We just lived on the balcony and were visited by local birds every day and listened to the tree frogs sing. The apartment is super well equipped and even has a blender - we wizzed up banana daiquiris and watched the sunset every evening. A wonderful bonus to use the lovely pool and facilities at the Zoetry Hotel next door. The owner and Pauline, the local building manager, were super kind and allowed us a late checkout as our flight was a late one. Very much appreciated. Highly recommended!

The Place to be in Marigot.

We stayed in Simons apartment for 9 nights. We could not have wished for anything better. It was superb. This apartment has the perfect vista of Marigot Bay. To be able to enjoy the benefits of the Marigot Bay Resort and Marina was a massive plus. The apartment is very, very spacious. The bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in. The property manager, Pauline, was always available if we required her. We will forever, remember our stay at Simons apartment.

Perfect accommodation and location

We loved staying in this very spacious apartment overlooking Marigot Bay and the Marina. Just the perfect location a few steps away from all Marigot Bay had to offer. The apartment was spotlessly clean and well furnished and decorated. The kitchen area had everything you needed for cooking , and there was also a great washing machine and dryer. There was a lovely shaded balcony looking over the marina , perfect to watch the world go by. An added bonus was the owners arrangement with the resort hotel just a few minutes away for use of their pools. There are little ferry boats that take you to the beach and other hotels and bars in the area, which are free if you are eating or drinking there. The lady that welcomed us to the apartment was very welcoming and informative about the apartment and the area. We spent a heavenly 11 nights here and hope we can return some day.

Spacious Apartment

The apartment is very spacious, comfortable bed, everything you need is provided, bathroom small and in need of refurbishment but otherwise great. Lovely views from the balcony watching the boats and activity in Marigot Bay Marina. Several restaurants in walking distance, not the cheapest, we were paying £90 to £150 each meal and not always 3 courses for that. We felt that this apartment is great for a week but as it lacks a beach maybe a two centre break is better if a beach is a priority. It can be a bit noisy first thing from 6am with the locals arriving to set up stalls and with the police station next door so be aware of that. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to others for something different.

It’s always disappointing when people praise us in person but leave a less enthusiastic review. The island, which is not wealthy anyway, is recovering from the pandemic and that has inevitably led to price rises. Tourists perhaps need to be sympathetic to this. Early morning noise hasn’t been commented on by any of our previous reviewers. We hope you’ll visit again but if you have comments do discuss them with us before you leave. We’re friendly, receptive and always grateful for constructive advice.

Outstanding harbor views

This lovely property in Marigot Bay is open, airy, bright and comfortable. The windows on 3 sides allow for a full view of the marina and harbor activity. The balcony faces north, so it's always shaded and receives the most magnificent breezes all day. We appreciated the shades on the east and west sides to keep the apartment cool. The bed was very comfortable. The location was superb. We enjoyed the Masala Bay restaurant just below us, also the Hurricane Hole. The small grocery at the marina was adequate only. We would recommend purchasing elsewhere if you have a car. We loved having the washing machine. The dryer location prevented it's use. But the drying rack was perfect. Sometimes the dishwasher did not release the soap into the water. But these are all small things. Pauline was very helpful in answering questions and arranging taxis. The apartment location is brilliant!! We enthusiastically recommend this apartment and would love to return.

Beautiful Scenery & Sunshine

The apartment is very roomy & airy. Also option of air conditioning if preferred. Weekly cleaning was provided during our 30-day stay; Gail & Mary were outstanding. Note that if doing laundry, you will need to climb on a stool to reach the dials on the clothes dryer as it sits atop the washing machine. Also no safe for valuables or passports. The balcony view is exceptional with ongoing daily activity at the marina. Hurricane Hole plays American Pop or Country music; surprisingly very little Caribbean music heard. There are 42 steps to climb to reach the apartment. Good to know as you need to carry up your luggage, groceries, etc. Lance was a lifesaver for us as he was extremely helpful in this regard. No ATM but credit cards accepted everywhere. Minimal groceries in Marigot Bay so need to go to Massy's or CPJ if grocery shopping is part of your travel plan. Rental car or taxi rides required to go visiting away from the marina. Again Lance was our go-to taxi driver during our stay, which worked out very well. Resort amenities (pool & fitness centre) were appreciated. There are several restaurants within walking distance. Very hilly terrain so need to be somewhat fit to be able to visit the surrounding local areas by foot. Simon & Pauline were great in responding to any & all concerns during our 30-day stay. Pauline arranged our pick-up from the airport & is also a great source of information re excursions, etc. Overall, we enjoyed our time there & would recommend it.

Best place to stay in Marigot Bay!!

I am very happy to say that this is the best spot to have in Marigot Bay. We wanted to rent a car and see the whole island but after finding out how expensive everything was, the car was our opt out money saver. So not really having anything to do but relax, it was the most fantastic people and boat watching balcony in the area!! Im so happy I booked this place because seeing all the other places, I wouldn't have been happy renting anywhere else. We rented a car for 2 of our 10 days and were a bit scared driving through the small towns but it was not difficult getting to the Pitons...very simple really. One setback was I told Nina I didn't need the maid every day, so she never came back! The apartment was not tended to for the whole 10 days and we had 2 large bags of garbage we didnt know what to do with. I also was a bit surprised with the beach across the way...but its not the fault of this property owner. We watched workers spit and pee on it every day. We walked over to it and there was trash all over in the water. Its beautiful to look at but I wouldn't swim there. Plus all the scum and gas pollute the area from the boats. Don't expect a beach to be on all the time, you'll have to visit a beach somewhere else. The use of the hotel is amazing!! The pool is kept well and we used it every day. On our 2nd from last day there, we asked a worker from the restaurant below if he would cook us something local on his time off, he was great!! He said yes, but we didnt have enough time to plan it. If you see a girl cooking in the shack below on the beach, go visit it and try some local food, it was great! We had chicken, jonny cakes and fish cakes for breakfast when she was there. All in all, the beauty of the island is amazing but the locals dont take care of it so it was a little disappointing but I think Simons place is a great place to start! If you want to see St. Lucia, bring lots of money (our first shopping trip for food was US$180 for 2 people) and dont expect Nina to help you see it, theres a booth below by the shops, the girl in there was wonderful!! Nina didnt have recommendations to suit us and she seemed like she was always in a hurry or going somewhere. Internet connection sucks...we held our computer over the balcony for reception. Everything in the apartment worked well, and is quiet. I highly recommend this place!

Generally most visitors are charmed by both St Lucia and its lovely people. It's a rural Caribbean island, the majority of whose population is quite poor, and therefore possibly unlike what you may be used to back at home. All of St Lucia's beaches are public so you will meet local people there which I think is one of the great things about the Island. I've swum off the 'Sandspit' in Marigot Bay on every visit I've ever made to the Island and never thought it somewhere that I wouldn't want to swim. However I always let visitors know that it's a small beach and bigger beaches can be found just fifteen minutes away. You don't really visit Marigot Bay for its beach though - you come for its beauty and tranquility. Nina, our Property manager, is always there to help and will respond to any request that you make of her regarding cleaning the apartment. Good communication with her is always the key. Food prices throughout the Caribbean are higher than at home because much of what is available has to be imported. There's no way around that! I've not known of any internet connection problems previously. The apartment has its own wifi and also the Marina, directly beneath the apartment, provides free wifi for all of the yachts that moor there.

L’appartement est superbe, la vue est idéale pour les petits déjeuner et apéro au soleil couchant. Notre arrivée et départ ont été géré en support de notre hôte local, Simon nous a donné très les infos nécessaires avant notre départ avec bcp de réactivité. Nous avons passé une semaine magnifique.

Great location!

Apartment 1a is a very bright and spacious! It is tastefully furnished and has all the home comforts you need. The location could not be any better on Marigot Bay. Sitting on the balcony in the early mornings watching the comings and goings of the many yachts and catamaran was a great way to start the day. Also the added bonus of having access to the Marigot Bay hotel facilities. All and all this was a perfect vacation destination.

Location, view and space

What a delightful property! The very best location in Marigot Bay. No other apartment has these gorgeous views. The whole experience was just lovely. Pauline, the property manager was very efficient and very helpful. She arranged a pick up from the airport for us. The apartment itself is very spacious and nicely furnished. The photos do not actually do it justice.Definitely would recommend staying here.

You can use the the Swimming Pools, and the gym, at the next door ZOETRY MARIGOT BAY HOTEL free of charge.
During the day you can purchase food and drink by their pools and, if you reserve in advance, you can dine in their restaurants in the evening.
