We have just got back from a 10 day stay and we have loved staying at this apartment. The views are just incredible and I am missing drinking my morning coffee on the balcony already. The apartment has everything you need for a self catering stay and it’s very safe within the marina village. Having access to the pools and gym at the resort was really great. There are also a couple of local restaurants not owned by the resort that we enjoyed visiting.

We loved our holiday staying here. A perfect two bedroom, comfortable space with the best seat in town to watch over the comings and goings in the bay from the spacious second floor verandah. Pauline was very helpful throughout our stay, and directed us to excellent local activities. We particularly liked the Zoetry pool, spending many hours there on multiple days.

The apartment was in a beautiful area and had a great view of the harbor from the large balcony. The apartment was large and had almost everything you would need for a long stay.

My husband, daughter and I stayed here for a week. It was beautiful with stunning views of the bay. We found it very conveniently located to all the restaurants and stores. The owner and property manager keep us well informed on the details prior to arrival. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing vacation! We traveled with our two children ages 16 and 21. The apartment was super clean, well stocked, the beds were comfortable and located in a great location. The view was spectacular. You get great cross winds in the living room and kitchen with the windows open and the door to the balcony open as well which made it very comfortable. Definitely 10 out of 10. If you are thinking about renting you should! Pauline the house manger was great to work with. She setup our car rental for the week and gave us a reputable recommendation for a fishing charter located at the bay.

We had an amazing time! The views are just incredible and the location is excellent. There are places to eat that are walking distance, you get access to the resort’s pools and gym. Overall we are extremely happy to have stayed at this property. Thank you Karen and Pauline!!

We had a lovely stay at Marigot Bay. The unit is beautifully furnished and spacious. We spent many hours on the balcony enjoying the view of the bay. The sunsets were spectacular!Pauline was more than helpful with airport transfers car rentals and arranging a lovely boat tour up the coast with her husband. We really enjoyed that.The unit is well situated midway on the coast which makes for easy access to areas of interest.Having access to the amenities at Zoetry was definitely a bonus.I highly recommend this property and would not hesitate to return.

Marigot Bay Vacation

This apartment was exactly as advertised. Clean, spacious, great location. We loved sitting on the large porch and watching the people and boats. Several good choices for dinner within walking distance. Very friendly locals, beautiful island.

Remarkable

We had an amazing stay at this property and can't recommend it enough! The location is absolutely perfect—located in between north and south of the island. Makes it easy to travel close to the key attractions yet far enough to offer a peaceful and serene atmosphere. The accommodation itself was lovely, incredibly clean, and well-maintained with all the amenities one needed for a comfortable stay. The airport transfer service was seamless and efficient, making the arrival and departure stress-free. Plus, the boat trip that was offered was a highlight of the trip. Overall, a fantastic place to stay with excellent service, and I’ll definitely be returning! Pauline and her husband were amazing!

We stayed in this condo for a week. The condo is well equipped with cooking utensils, cleanliness was exceptional, beds were comfortable. Pauline went above and beyond helping my 88 year old mother in law when she arrived at the condo. Cornelius came quickly to fix a small problem. The condo is up a flight of stairs. We used the balcony for our meals. Always lots of activity on the bay to watch. Very quiet at night despite being right on the bay. We used the pool at Zoetry several times. We did go to the beach across the bay, not much shade there. La Monique's was our favorite meal in the area. We also ate at the Villa and Roots 2. We bought fish at the Fishmonger to cook ourselves. We rented a car during our stay and always found a parking spot near the condo. The car was beneficial for grocery shopping and exploring other beaches, areas of St Lucia etc. Be prepared for hair pin curves if you do drive. I would highly recommend this condo!

Amazing Stay @ Marigot Bay

This place is incredible and just as it looks in pictures. There’s so many things around - great restaurant for evening dining on the second level across the courtyard. Staff is amazing at that restaurant and at the coffee shop below. Across the way on a very quick water taxi ride - there’s DooLittles on the beach. The service is slow but food is good. Karen the owner was so communicative and I was most impressed when the news of Hurricane Beryl came to light that it was coming through Saint Lucia and she reached out directly. Aside from Pauline - her local property manager keeping us informed, they both were assuring that we would be able to have accommodations past our reservation date should the hurricane cause a delay. Talk about wonderful customer service. I truly appreciated the way we were treated and loved this location so much for our family. We do plan on coming back again and would love nothing more than to stay here every time we visit Saint Lucia. Also - don’t be shy to book Pauline’s husband’s private water taxi. We had a blast exploring the beaches along the coastline on his water taxi tour. Cornelius and his son Felix provided us a day to remember!! Highly recommend!!!

Great apartment with excellent views and great for people watching

Overall this was a great apartment to stay in. Marigot bay is beautiful and the views are amazing. The apartment was clean and well furnished. It is close to the Zoetry and we had access to their restaurants and pools. It can get a little loud at night on the weekends, but overall it was pretty peaceful. We enjoyed watching the boats coming in and out of the bay. There were a few minor issues... the washing machine was waiting to be repaired. The property manager accommodated us well with having someone come pick up and wash our clothes, but it was rather frustrating because one of the main reasons we chose to go with this instead of a resort was access to the washer/dryer. We tried to use the dishwasher twice however it just didn't clean the dishes at all, so we ended up having to hand wash the dishes. It appears to be rather old and probably needs to be replaced. The last issue was the master AC started having issues the last night. I informed the property manager the next morning so they should get that taken care of. None of these issues would stop us from staying here again if we have the chance. Both the property manager and Karen were very responsive and accommodating, and we would recommend this place to our friends.

Marigot Bay - Considerable Construction Work

Our apartment was beautiful & the bay views glorious from the balcony, by far the best view in Marigot. First impressions superb. Everything matched as per the on-line description. Unfortunately the holiday quickly declined when construction workers turned up Mon 11 July to commence a full Category A shop fit out on the ground floor below space below our apartment. This meant drilling up the concrete floors and ripping out the ceiling.! The work continued for 6 x days and then re-started on Tues 19 Jul everyday until we left on 25 July. The property owner was sympathetic & tried to liaise with the hotel resort owners but to no avail. Following further videos of our inability to hold a conversation in the property and thus remain in the apartment during the day with drilling starting at 08:15 thru 5pm daily, third party reps did meet with the Hotel General Manager who own the ground floor shop space below the apartment . For the last 5 x nights we were put up in the Marina Bay Hotel in a self catering suite with 2 x bedrooms. However the quality and standard was nothing compared to our original apartment :( Complete restoration of the resort is taking place at both the hotel and Marina Village and will mean considerable disruption for many months. The Marina Bay has been taken over by Hyatt Worldwide under the Zoëtry portfolio of hotels and most of the resort is being completely refurbished meaning all the Marina property will be impacted by significant noise and disruption for months to come. Unless you want continual construction at the hotel, Marina or other properties this is a resort to avoid for at least the next 6 + months / end of 2022 Not the holiday experience we wanted. Please know this is NOT the fault of the owner as they have nothing to do with the hotel. They were kind and let us continue to use the apartment once construction had finished at the end of the day. Am afraid we will never come back to St Lucia based on the disregard the hotel has for tourists and customers in the resort generally, But also the complete disregard they hold towards the landlords / owners who rent their properties to tourists. The communication from the hotel to all resort stakeholders is arrogant & un-empathetic. In an age of creating amazing holiday experiences the hotel leadership team are incompetent and lacking EQ.

Oh Hannah, I am so disappointed that you didn't get the holiday you dreamed of. What a stressful few weeks it has been for us all. You are correct in stating that the resort management did not communicate with us with absolutely no pre-warning at all of the refurbishment work, which started on the shop below our apartment as you arrived. The noise during parts of the day was unbearable and I'm glad we managed to get you into a suite in the hotel for the last five days, but appreciate it wasn't what you had booked. The worst of the construction has now been completed in the Marina Village and at last we have a schedule of works from the management. They are apparently on track to complete work at the hotel before they relaunch the 'new look' resort in early November. Although, I understand they have to do this work at some point and that it is currently the low season, you saw how difficult it was to communicate with those organising the refurbishment to try to minimize the impact and to rehouse yourselves. It certainly didn't help having two national holidays during the week. I am sure it will all be amazing when finished but that didn't help you. Please don't rule out revisiting this lovely island, there is so much more to offer and enjoy still. I can only apologise yet again and thank you for your positive feedback on our apartment. Great accommodation, great location

The Marina Villa 7a offered a great overall combination of space and comfort, and the amenities at the Marigot Bay Resort made for an incredible visit. The view and experience from the deck is one of the most jaw dropping settings for an accommodation you will find in the Caribbean. The hosts were wonderful in making sure we were well provisioned and in connecting us with boat tours and transport. We spent 5 days but wished we could have stayed longer.

Marina Village during covid

A fantastic apartment with plenty of space for a family of 4 (there were three of us). The most delightful view from a very spacious terrace. Very limited sun but you should have worked that out form the location / positioning. Great wifi, kitchen and bathroom amenities. A couple of observations - lots of insert bites due to the location / forestation, v limited dining options in the area ie two! Prices quite steep so Pauline's supermarket shopping service was really helpful. We felt very lucky to stay here.

Wonderful stay

We had a great family vacation at this property. This apartment was great for a family of four. The kitchen had everything we needed. The view was spectacular. Contact by the owner beforehand was very helpful. Also access to the resort amenities made for a perfect trip.

A Room With A View

Just returned from 2 weeks holiday in Marigot Bay with friends, a party of 4 staying at this property. The apartment was perfect. Clean, tidy and plenty of everything needed for our stay. Loads of towels which is a real issue with me at some self-catering villas. Never a problem with hot water, electrics or WiFi. Making life easy even your rubbish is disposed of by dropping the bin bag down a shout just outside the front door – I like that! The views from the outside balcony are to die for – a clear line of sight out down the bay to the ocean. In the evening the sun sets right at the end of the bay – fantastic. Many an hour was spent watching the world go by while sipping on a run punch or two!! Having access to the hotel facilities proved better than I was thinking before we arrived. I did have visions of fighting for sun loungers etc but this proved not to be the case, indeed some days when we were having a chill out day we arrived and had one of the two pool area’s completely to ourselves. The staff came around with free water bottles in tubs of ice, really appreciated as the temperature was 32’ even in Sept. We ate a couple of times at the hotel on a lunch time and I must admit the Jerk Chicken & Mange Salad for $15 was brilliant. Happy hour was 4 - 5pm (half price drinks) and the rum punch here was my favourite – lots of nutmeg! Local restaurants were all within about 5 – 10 min walk or by the free water taxi service. We would often get the free taxi to one bar/restaurant to have a few cocktails before getting it back to move on to our meal restaurant. The local people are really friendly, in fact all 4 of us commented upon how friendly the whole of the St Lucia population was to us. We had a hire car and criss-crossed the island and friendly people everywhere. Both Karen and Pauline were fantastic – communications were brilliant both in the UK before we went and during our holiday. I would not hesitate to recommend this apartment to anyone. Girlfriend get-a-away!

Marigot Bay in St. Lucia for a week was a dream! My BFF of 46 years and I went for the first time and the apartment was perfect. Large, clean, well stocked, both of us had separate bedrooms and bathrooms and the balcony overlooks the bay and ocean. There is so much to do in the bay- great restaurants, water taxi to the beach (5 mins and free) hiking, snorkeling, kayaking. We didn't need a car. Only an hour from the international airport and the driver, set up by Karen, stopped at a grocery store where we got food and drinks for a week. Karen and Pauline were great hosts and gave us many recommendations. There is also a small grocery store downstairs in the marina. Pauline's husband, Cornelius, has a boat and took us on a wonderful private boat cruise to the Pitons and to Soufriere where we hired a taxi to take us to the waterfalls and the botanical gardens. We hired a taxi to take us zip-lining too. I can't say enough about the apartment, the marina and the resort next door that gives access to the swim up bar and pool. We will definitely go back. St. Lucia is beautiful! Thank you for a perfect week!

I felt like I won the lottery when I booked this place!

Right in the heart of Marigot Bay, the location of this gorgeous apartment makes it the perfect place to enjoy the sights and sounds of the most beautiful spot in St Lucia. From the stunning sea-side interior decor of the property to the 180 degree bird's eye view of the marina, there is truly no better place to stay in this destination. I wish we could have stayed much longer! Right from our very first contact, Karen was fantastic to communicate with and booking with HomeAway was easy. Our stay in St Lucia, although much too short, was filled with wonderful adventures and this apartment was the perfect spot to head north to Castries, south to Soufriere and east to access the Castries Vieux Fort Highway when it was time to make our way to the international UVF airport. I can't recommend this property highly enough and I'll be sure to sing it's praises to anyone looking to vacation in this part of the world!

Relaxing vacation in Marigot Bay

We loved our stay in Marigot Bay. The condo is in a great location. It has a view of the marina and is in walking distance from restaurants and the neighbouring hotel Marigot Bay Resort. Being able to use the resorts amenities was an added bonus. We took advantage of that. The beach you have to take a quick ferry to isn’t that big. We didn’t spend much time there. We did however take water taxis to the beaches on the southern part of the island. They were much nicer and cleaner than the one at Marigot Bay. We spent mornings out on the balcony watching the action in the marina. There were boats always coming in and out. The rest of our day was spent exploring. So it was nice coming back to the condo and relaxing.

Highly recommended

A beautiful location and a stunning apartment with great amenities close by. A perfect place to relax, unwind and watch the world go by in tranquil surroundings. Lots of choices of places to eat out but also facilities to self cater if you wish. Plenty of activities locally such as kayaking, snorkelling, sailing, diving or just chilling around the hotel pool at the end of the harbour. However Marigot Bay is ideal as a base to explore the island as it is halfway down the Caribbean coast. We climbed Grand Piton and had the best zip wire experience ever zipping over the treetops of the rainforest. Amazing! Pauline and Cornelius (the local manager and her husband who does great trips out in his water taxi) were helpful throughout our stay and gave fantastic recommendations. Definitely somewhere we would love to return to and have already told friends and family about this little gem.
