Prime beachfront location

Could not beat the beachfront location of the property. Felt like a true local with beachfront access, eating locally and quiet morning walks along the beach. Particularly love the retro feel of the property and having a cuppa in the sunroom watching the waves roll on. Perfect holiday spot for our family weekend getaway.

Beach shack

What an idyllic location for a little beach shack. Located on the beach front and only a stroll away from the village and jetty. Clear swimming water and close proximity to breathtaking bush walks and ocean views. Nostalgic and simplistic for a getaway.

Location excellent, backyard access to dog friendly beach, yard not fenced. 5min walk to Cronulla Ferry and local shops.Views across Pt Hacking and peaceful.

Beach House

The best location in Bundeena

A charming cottage right on the beachfront of the best beach. And also close to shops, restaurants,clubs and the ferry wharf. Extremely comfortable and well equipped both inside and out, with a stupendous north-facing view. The host could not have been more helpful, available, informative and attentive.

Just right ...

We loved staying at the beach house - not only was it ideally located, the house had everything we needed, including a well-equipped kitchen. Loved hearing the water and the wind and the birds from bed. A lovely and relaxing long weekend.

Beachfront property.

We stayed for a week at this beautiful location. All the basics you need are supplied with shops a short walk away for anything else. Everything is in walking distance, a few different beaches, clubs, eateries, parks, IGA supermarket etc. The area is quite busy on sunny weekends and being right on the beach front and close to everything is perfect. The house is very comfortable and the owners very attentive.

Simple and charming old style beach house

A simple 1950s fibro beach house right on the beach and a few minutes' walk from cafes and shops. The house was well equipped and everything we needed for our stay was provided. We loved the style of the house - not many like this remain. One issue was that we were 4 single adults and needed 4 separate beds. Although it was advertised as sleeping 6, only 3 beds (one double) were made up when we arrived. This issue was easily resolved by our host.

A wonderful spot

I can’t tell you how much we enjoyed our weekend here. We had everything we needed and San Remo is in the most perfect spot. Minutes walk to cafes and shops and the fact that you can do that walk along the beach is amazing. Going to sleep with the sound of waves crashing along the shore and then walking up to that and birds - can't beat that! The aspect is perfect - looking directly on the beach and beyond that Cronulla the jetty and Kurnell. A great breeze through the house. The house is bigger than what it looks like in the photos, that's for sure. Plenty of room. All the necessities are there from linen to kitchen goods to quality body wash and shampoo. The sheets are amazing! Board games for times inside and beach towels for times outside. To walk out of the house and have some grass, then sand, then the ocean is extraordinary. Our dog had an amazing time on the yard and on the beach and in the water when he was allowed. He made many friends. Hordens Beach is very safe and clear. It was great swimming out to the jetty and then across to the point and back. The house is very comfortable and we felt right at home when we walked in. Richard and Lisa were perfect hosts, we got plenty of information from them in a timely manner prior to booking and just before arrival. Richard answered all my questions promptly and there is plenty of information at the house about everything. We will definitely come back here.

A little slice of heaven

A fabulous little cottage right on the waterfront. The house had everything one would want on a getaway. Super comfy beds, great outdoor bbq and a big deck to relax on and watch the world go by. Richard the owner was easy to communicate with and any concerns we had were addressed quickly. Highly recommend this place and hopefully we can return soon .

Relaxation Destination!!

The most perfect destination for our Mum and daughter trip. It was equally relaxing and beautiful to stay over Christmas. The property hosts were very lovely and accomodating and made the process easy. We will definitely be back!

Perfect place to unwind

Bundeena stay

I stayed at the house with my 2 sons before hiking the Coast Track. Richard was very helpful and informative and the house was perfect for our stay. It’s location is idyllic - right on the beach and a short walk to shops and restaurants. It was ideal for our stay and we would stay again.

We love to travel and sit by the beach, Hordens beach house gives us the perfect dream location away from the city that makes us feel we are so far away but just over an hour from the city.

Directly on the beach you and your kids can walk straight out of the house across some grass and onto the sand. You can hear the waves during the day and evening giving you the perfect place to relax. You and the kids will love it, the shops IGA for groceries, cafes and an RSL club that does nice meals are only a walk down the beach away. If you like a walk there are so many walks yo can do. Many artist in the area open their studios for visitors to view and buy their art. If you haven’t been to Bundeena visit Hordens Beach House and enjoy the area. You can also catch the ferry across to Cronulla to explore Cronulla or within an hour from Cronulla station you can be in the Sydney City Centre
