Second stay at Sekitei

I travel to Sutherland once a year for work. Sekitei is a fantastic stay with everything I need. Michi is wonderful to deal with and very responsive with her communication.

Private and quiet

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Sekitei. proximity to dog park a bonus, and nearby Sutherland is a source of a range of cuisines. The room has a most comfortable bed Sekitei was ideal for me and my kelpie Charlie as a base for my time in Sydney. I would recommend most highly except I want to return later in the year! thanks again Michi, Russ and Brin.

A hidden gem in the Shire so close to the Royal National Park. Cronulla train line (T4) handy. Coles, Woollies, Aldi and Dan Murphy's close by.Great hosts that at the same property, but you never see them, handy if you need something.

A lot of effort has been made to try and give the perception that you are in Japan. An added extra was the street coming alive at night with several houses doing great Christmas lights displaysgetting into the Christmas sprif

Beautiful accommodation

My dad stayed here for 2 weeks recently and he had nothing but great things to say about it. Michi was so hospitable and accomadating for him. He thouroughly enjoyed staying here. Thanks Michi for being such a great host to dad!

Tranquil retreat!

Thank you Michi for providing a homely warm atmosphere for our extended stay of one month. Everything was perfect and our dog loved socialising in the nearby dog park. We will always remember this holiday fondly. We highly recommend the tranquil atmosphere of Sekitei for a short or long break.

Perfect retreat

We needed a base in the Shire for a month & got a beautiful retreat. It met all our accommodation needs & is easy walking distance to the train.

Peaceful getaway

This property is a hidden gem in the Sutherland shire. The little cottage reminded me of an old Japanese farmhouse built in dark wood with tall wooden beams. The bedroom faces a small Japanese rock garden which is surrounded by a fence of bamboo. It is secured so your dog won't be able to escape. It is fully equipped with kitchen, bathroom and living room. Very comfortable for 2 people. Around the corner is a dog park where the locals come every morning and evening so your dog will have a great opportunity to make new friends. I highly recommend this property and Buddy and I look forward to staying here again 👏👏👏👏👏😄

Great place to stay clean , animal friendly. Michi, Sarge is giving you a slobber 🐾 and rex is saying thanks for the ball, and lucy is thankful that you want us there. Owners are so friendly and we will be back there with the same crowd

So relaxing

Staying here was just lovely. It was private and warming. Everything was clean, all the amenities that you would need and the host was accomodating to help in any way she could. Archie my fur baby felt very comfortable and he knew he was welcomed with open arms. I would stay here again, it was a home away from home. The surroundings were relaxing with lovely mature trees and a sense of peace though close to all the shops and train station. The host was a beautiful woman and her dog was just adorable.💜💜

A good stay

The accommodation is wonderfully tranquil, and its location is incredibly convenient, just a 10-minute stroll from both the train station and local shops. The communication with the host was excellent throughout my stay.
