Bundeena Base Cottage

Modern newly built cottage in the beautiful village of Bundeena. This property has been designed for outside/inside living. Two enormous bifold doors opens up the living area to a level grassed area with patio ideal for enjoying the best of BBQs with friends and family.

Water glimpses, the North facing cottage, is bathed in light, and just a few meters from the beach. All doors are extra wide, allowing for easy wheelchair access.

If you are bringing a dog, please get in touch before booking as we do have some conditions of stay, simple stuff but important to be aware of.

The place was great - clean and well equipped. Perfect size for our needs. Very close beaches, town and ferry. Dog loved the garden.Host was friendly, hospitable & helpful and very quick to reply to queries.Will definitely stay again!

Bundeena a beautiful place, the accom excellent, well appointed, quiet & private but located close to the beaches, national park walking trails, the village & the wharf for a trip on the folksy clinker built ferry to Cronulla.

Lovely location, very clean. The wooden doors into the bedrooms and bathroom were quite heavy for elderly and people with disability and noisy, look beautiful but no where near practical. Hilde was a lovely host

This cottage is amazing! Comfortable, clean, and peaceful. Hilde was so accommodating of our needs and met us even though our plane was so late we didn’t arrive until 10:00pm. Little added thoughtful things like milk in the fridge and some treats made our stay extra special.Communication was clear and thoughtful and I would have no hesitation in booking to stay in beautiful Bundeena again.

Cottage was modern but a little small for the 5 of us. Would be more suited to a family of 4 with 2 little kids I think. We had a great time though. Bundeena was a great little town and the beaches were beautiful. Thanks for having us Hilde.

Just a short drive from central Sydney but worlds away. The accommodation is exactly as discribed and host easy to contact. Recommended.

Great stay

Base-camp is a good descriptor for this modern cottage. It is well situated for a short walk to Gunya , Jibbon and Hordens beaches. Also short walk to Bundeena shops and Salty Pearl bar. It has clean modern styling and comfortable and functional, quiet and private. Hilda was a terrific host, very helpful and thoughtful. Great place to stay.

Well located in a quiet area and immaculately presented and well appointed, this two bedroom comfortable villa is a very pleasant way to spend a few days in Bundeena. Close to shops and water.

Everything you need for a relaxing beach getaway in style.

Beautiful and thoughtfully designed space, well done to the host Hilde. It had everything we needed and more to feel comfortable and relaxed for our 3 night stay over New Years. The coffee machine a pods provided us with very nice coffee every morning. We also enjoyed the extra treats that were in the fridge, very nice touch. It was clean, even the towels and bedding smelt fresh and felt crisp and clean. Beautiful beaches within walking distance, Jibbon beach was great for kids and was clean and quiet even on New Years Day. Enjoyed a short stroll down to Bundeena shops for ice cream one evening. Perfect facilities for a summer bbq as the outdoor space has a shade awning which is easy to operate. It was great having a laundry to give our beach towels a quick rinse and spin after 2 days of use at the beach. We wish we stayed longer as the weather was wonderful. Will definitely consider coming back again.

Fantastic Cottage

Had an amazing 10 night stay! Property is clean and modern with all the mod cons, all the necessities supplied, down to a coffee machine with pods! Great indoor/outdoor feel. Perfect location, within walking distance to the beaches, ferry, restaurants & cafes. Hilde and David were great hosts from time of booking to our last day. Hope to return again!

A great location

We really enjoyed our stay. Hilde met us upon our arrival and made us feel very welcome. The cottage is lovely and new and clean. The location is incredible with beaches and town within easy walk. Very dog friendly. The layout inside is compact but has everything we needed. The only down side is the amount of exposure to passers-by, it was difficult to feel any privacy unless the blinds were drawn. We anticipate that once the Lillypillly matures it will provide some screening. Thank you Hilde for a wonderful stay.
