A Great Week

This property was excellent. Large enough for all the family, close to amenities and located in one of the most beautiful places on earth. We really enjoyed our stay and thank the owners for their care in providing a clean, well maintained and well appointed house for our stay.

This property was perfect for our family holiday. Plenty of room in the house, it was clean and located in a nice quiet residential neighbourhood. There was a Safeway only a few minutes drive. About seven minute drive to the town centre.

Good

Had a hard time with the fire hob and it would have been a great help if there was a dryer since it was rainy days

Thanks for the review. Unfortunately the fire place is not meant for burning rubbish and plastics. That`s why you had problems with the fire box because you were trying to burn your excess rubbish which caused a terrible smoke in the house. In future if you rent a holiday home and you not not sure about anything its best to ask. We also have a heat pump in the house so if you are not familiar with the fire the heat pump heats the house efficient because we have the heat transfer to the whole house

Big spacious house in a great location

We had a great time in Wharewaka. The location's close to Taupo central but also convenient to the lake. While it's not lakeside, it has a foot and cycle path with no major roads to cross. We had a toddler on a bike and he was fine on the walk down. Overall, I highly recommend the place ... particularly if you have large numbers in your group!
