Stunning accommodations with views in every room. Very well maintained. Great time bowling at One Ski Hill and hanging out at peak 8. Minutes from everything and nothing was missing from our stay.

We used the entire house and all the amentities. Kitchen area great for conversation and fully stocked with everything you need. Pool table and outdoor space used every night. House is an easy hike to Main Street. Our family highly recommends. Working with River Ridge was easy and they were responsive.

Beautiful home!

Our friends and family truly enjoyed themselves over the thanksgiving holiday that we spent at Fox Paw Lodge! The property is lovely with gorgeous views and open communication with the rental staff. The only thing I would change is the quality of the kitchen utensils and tools. There are no mixers, blenders, grinders, food processors, or good quality serving spoons/utensils. Most were plastic and very low quality. I understand that this is a rental property and isn’t appointed with the same things that a full time residential home would be, but the prior reviews led me to believe this would be a chef’s kitchen and it was not. Everything else, however, was perfect. My wheelchair bound grandfather felt right at home with the abundant fireplaces and handicapped accessible elevator and roll in/sit in shower. We also loved the close proximity to the ski/snowboard school and shuttle access. I would recommend this property to any family looking to enjoy a cozy vacation in the beautiful mountains of Breckenridge!

I literally can’t even put into words how amazing this houses. It was everything we hoped for and so much more. It was more beautiful than the pictures, spotlessly clean, warm, cozy, great access to everything, and a perfect place for our ladies retreat.

October 2019 Stay

We had a blast at our annual girl's getaway. Eight of us(from all over) have been friends for over 40 year. We pick a different destination to gather each year Fox Paw Lodge/Breckenridge did not disappoint! We loved it! From enjoying sunrises/sunsets on one of the decks, to soaking in the hot tub OR just enjoying gathering in the kitchen... every moment was memorable and enjoyable! Fox Paw Lodge is lovely and perfectly decorated/stocked but also homelike and cozy! We loved the robes, the comfy throws, the fireplaces, the privacy each floor afforded and the well stocked kitchen! Three fury friends (foxes) did come visit us which was a highlight for us all. We rate the entire experience 5 stars! Just a couple of suggestions: 1. Smart TV's (Chromecast friendly) 2. Wifi Printer 3. We couldn't get the icemaker to work 4. While we did get the firepit to light once....couldn't get it to light again 5. We could not find the chemicals for the hot tub. Thanks for a wonderful time! We will be

Fabulous Family Time at Fox Paw Lodge

Fox Paw Lodge is not as big as the pictures make you think but it was well appointed with everything needed and the location was FANTASTIC. It was wonderful being able to ski in and ski out every day. We had a wonderful time. Our only problem was with One Ski Hill Place. A woman there at the front desk named Caitlin implied that as renters we didn’t have the same privileges as people staying at One Ski Hill Place. She was awful and made us feel unwelcome whwn we were at the lodge. I really hope someone does something about her. She shouldn’t be in hospitality.

Hot Tub was great. Loved the big fireplace. Huge stove made preparing meals quick. The driveway became icy one day and they plowed twice, salted it and put sand down within a short amount of time. We were very happy with the service. The only complaint I have is the sleeper part of the sleeper sofa upstairs probably needs replacing. It wasn't comfortable enough for anyone to sleep on it. Overall, we really loved staying here and will likely return.

June 2018 Stay

This may be our favorite of all your rentals we've enjoyed over the years. It reminded us of a Swiss chalet. We particularly loved the architecture, the beautiful elegance of the main floor and master suite! As if the house weren't enough...talk about about the view, both east and west! Beautiful Home

We really enjoyed our week staying at Fox Paw. The location is so convenient to everything and the free shuttle was a big plus. The house is well taken care of and the kitchen is stocked with everything you need to prepare your meals. The only down side is that the beds are uncomfortable. The backyard is great during the day and at night to unwind and relax.

Wonderful house in immaculate condition

Fox Paw Lodge was better than advertised. Impeccably maintained with plenty of space for the entire family. We particularly liked the outdoor fireplace off the kitchen with the covered deck. To our surprise the house had an elevator and was entirely handicap accessible. It was great for my mother-in-law as she stayed in the main floor master. We have used River Ridge Rental for 7 years in a row and they are always responsive to our needs.

Beautiful House - Not Quite Ski-Out

The house itself is perfect. We traveled with 2 families (6 teenagers) and was perfect for our group. We even had a fox that came to the balcony a couple of times while we ate. Which, I guess, how they came up with the name. The only downside was skiing out. You have 2 options. First is to walk up the hill, which we vowed not to do again after we did it - okay for the guys, but the ladies and kids let us know about it. The other option is to ski down to the Snowflake lift. That involves crossing 2 streets by removing your skis and some very important turns or you'll end up in the parking lot in town. But don't let the skiing out be the reason not to stay there. You can ski-in to the hot tub on the back porch without any issues.
