Newly appointed as the "Art District", Montcalm is distinguished by the diversity of its commercial frame which includes more than 200 institutions of all kinds. Amongst those, you will find restaurants, bars, cafes, art galleries, museums, cinema, delis, trendy shops, health services and much more.
Popular and animated Cartier and Grande-Allée streets are situated near by.
The 700 sq. ft. apartment comes fully equiped with refrigirator, oven, micro wave, dishwasher, laundry cleaner+dryer with bedding and dishes included

The apartment was cute and clean. We had a very comfortable stay. The kitchen and laundry were convenient. It was the perfect set up and size for us. We were a bit far to walk to Old Quebec with kids but it was an easy cab ride. Very short distance to groceries and the Plains of Abraham.

Francois' property is very cozy, immaculately clean and in an excellent location. It is equipped with everything a group of four guests would need. We really lucked out with this experience. If we are able to, we will seek out this property ( host) again.

Super cozy place, we loved coming home every night to this residence. The kitchen was fully equipped and it was very easy to cook in. The place was very clean.The location is so convenient for taking the 800/801 or 11 into the city. The host was very responsive and welcoming!

The place was perfect. Nice and clean with just the right amount of supplies. I really enjoyed the retro decorations and style. You could tell there was thought and good taste. I can't imagine I would want to stay anywhere else when I come back to Quebec City.

Amazing Place to Stay

This spot was perfect for our family vacation. Very pretty, safe neighbourhood and within walking distances to restaurants, shops and Old Quebec. The apartment was just perfect. Clean, spacious and all the amenities we needed to make our stay comfortable. We would highly recommend and would book here again!

This was the perfect stay in Quebec! Close to the park of the Plains, it was quiet, very clean and had a very well stocked kitchen. The beds were very comfortable. I’m using ‘very’ lot a as we just loved the place. Blocks from great shopping as well. We would return!

Fantastic apartment and close to everything.

Stayed a few days over New Years and really enjoyed the apartment. The kitchen was well stocked and it was easy to get around to the city center.

Perfect location

The location is great and an easy ride into the city. It's an easy walk to lots of restaurants. There is a huge park right down the street with a playground, biking, running, etc. The property is very clean and welcoming. We really enjoyed our stay.

The apartment was clean but small. Not fancy but had the basics. The washer and dryer were welcome as we’d been traveling for quite a while. The neighborhood is quiet and residential. We did walk to Ave Cartier a few times and it is only a block from the Plains of Abraham. To get anywhere else you need to drive. Having a parking space is very convenient. There is noise from upstairs. We could hear the neighbors—sometimes during the night. Overall a good apartment for exploring Quebec.

MERCI for a wonderful stay...

My wife, my sister and myself rented this little apartment to enjoy the first weekend of the 2020 Quebec Winter Carnaval. Location could not have been better as were within walking distance to the festivities. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely do it again !

Great location

We chose the place because it was close to where the carnaval parade on Grande Allée started. It was perfect after spending the afternoon showing our granddaughter of 5 all the nice things to see and do at the carnaval. We could them return to the cosy appartement to want up and relax. We really enjoyed it

Wonderful, well appointed apartment that met all our needs as a family of four. In a great, quiet neighborhood close to the beautiful Plains of Abraham park and a quick drive to old Quebec City and many other attractions. One very small thing was that one of the bedrooms could use another lamp (had overhead light and small lamp, but I prefer lamp lighting). Great overall and Francois was responsive and kind.

Relaxing Family Vacation in Quebec City

Our family enjoyed our stay. The location is slightly outside the city centre, but the included parking spot was an ideal tradeoff for our situation: easy access to our car and driving-diving attractions such as the Aquarium and Montmorency Falls, and quick access to the city centre. This was a quiet neighborhood at night - perfect for our family with young children. The accordion is well-appointed and has all the basic necessities for a short stay, including meal prep. Francois is a fantastic host: courteous, responsive, professional. We would choose this place again and would recommend it to others.

July 2025 Stay

My wife and I went to Quebec City to celebrate our anniversary. Our host had a small bottle of wine and a thoughtful card on the table when we arrived. The location is close enough for lovely walks to and from the Old city and the Montcalm neighbourhood is fantastic for all meals. The facility was clean and the communication was perfect. A lovely neighbourhood and parkkng meant that we walked everywhere. I can't say enough good things about this place and our hosts. Thank-you!!

It was great to have a full kitchen to prepare meals. I didn't use them, but the washer and dryer would have been handy if needed. About a mile away from the city wall, blocks from the Plains.

Our stay in this apartment was wonderful. The apartment was very clean, beds and living room chair were very comfortable (beds were firm, which we liked). The kitchen was the best stocked with kitchen equipment of any rental I have ever been in! Apartment was quiet, we barely heard those living upstairs. W/D in apt was great. The neighborhood was very safe, walkable and lovely. Close to the Plains of Abraham - just a block away. We walked everywhere; about a 10 minute walk to the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, 15 minutes to summer outdoor free concert, and 30 minutes to entrance to old Quebec City (uptown). Manager was very responsive.

An excellent place to base our visit to Quebec City

Let me start off by saying the apartment was comfortable and very clean. The host was very friendly and helpful. The neighborhood is a very nice area and a nice walks distance to the old town.The only suggestion I have pertains to the steps into the apartment and a step inside. They aren’t easy to see and my friend took a stumble. Perhaps a color emphasis to the steps would make them more visible. I do recommend this property to someone planning a visit to Quebec City.

Montcalm QC enjoyable stay

The Montcalm apartment was accurate to the photos and our expectations. We had very good communications with Francois before & during the trip which we appreciated. Liked having a parking spot across from our apt.The unit was spacious enough and overall well equipped. Could have used some more lids for the cooking pots/pans, but otherwise everything was there. Nice to have some coffee provided.Note the main bedroom's bed is very, very firm, but did not hamper sleeping.The apt. is convenient to the nearby Plains of Abraham park and bus stop on the corner (which we didn't end up using). It's a short bus or drive to the old city.We really enjoyed our Quebec City visit and hope to return one day.
