The kitchen is outstanding, there was enough rooms for everybody, and it was in the center of all the activities that Angelfire had to offer.

Quiet Neighborhood

Responsive property contact when we checked in to lots of dead and half dead carpenter ants in the kitchen and living area. Housekeeper came back to clean again promptly. Clearly they are spraying inside to address the problem before we arrived, but walking in to see the results was unfortunate. We stayed and dealt with a few stragglers for the next 2-3 days. But we were located in the forest with lots of critters and I accept that it is rarely perfect. Loved the deer and fawns coming by each day.

Winter Vacation

Our family enjoyed our stay. Everything was near by, ski lifts, grocery store and restaurants. Although, there wasn't much snow at Angel Fire, we had snow around the house which gave us a beautiful view.

Great getaway

We enjoyed our summer stay. Great location. Got to enjoy the wildlife each morning and had fun with board games in the evening. We had one complaint about a shower handle that was immediately fixed, but our next complaint about the dryer that stopped working during our stay did not receive a response until after we were gone. It ended up melting more than one piece of our clothing after it stopped turning. I did not expect a dryer replacement while we were there (obviously) but would have liked a more timely response or an apology for the ruined clothes..

We have stayed here two years in a row, there's a reason we came back. Cool location and great price for what is a nice cabin.

Spring Ski Trip

Nice place. We stayed 4 nights and had a good experience. Only thing I would say is that there isn’t enough lounging furniture for a group over 5, we were a group of 7 adults. It sleeps 8. Needs to have additional living room seating. We all gathered there each evening and a couple of us had to sit on small barstools to watch movies. The place has all the necessities needed other than that. Decent beds, fully stocked kitchen, easy access to and from town and ski slopes. The road into the neighborhood is not paved, but that didn’t bother us. Would recommend.

Cool Property

Great, quiet location with lots of wildlife activity. Everything was a breeze. Kitchen is stocked well with utensils which was very handy as our kids wanted to have dinner at the cabin every night.

After Christmas Ski Trip!

We really enjoyed staying at the casa brio for a ski trip with our teenage daughters! We loved the big fire place in the kitchen/living area. The kitchen was so fully stocked it was fabulous!! The only one thing we thought would have been nice was tv’s in the bedrooms. Overall, great experience, great trip!!

Spring Break 2022

Location was great and cabin was roomy and comfortable for our party of 7. Beautiful picture windows allowed us to see so much wildlife. We went to ski, snowmobile, and go tubing. Kitchen was great to cook in but we also enjoyed a great lunch at El Jefe.

Great Cabin Getaway with Perfect Location

Had a wonderful holiday getaway at the property! Location was spectacular and saw a lot of wildlife from the living room windows. The upstairs is a bit dated, but exactly as pictured. However the beautifully renovated main floor makes up for this! I would note that the neighborhood roads can be a bit difficult to traverse without all wheel drive if there is snow. However our party members without all wheel drive where all able to leave even after 6 inches of snow. Enjoyed our stay and would love to return!

Great property

Comfortable for the whole family with plenty of room. Close to the slopes with easy 5-10 minute drive. Fun to watch the wildlife at the property when not at the slopes. The only reason it wasn't 5 star is because the cleaning service seems to lack attention to detail, the house manager was very prompt in addressing the situation.

Dirty cabin rip- off - not as advertised

1. Never received check-in information from host. Texted property manager, got no response. Had to call her, she gave me her code. No welcome text or “have a nice stay”. Tried to call Evolve Vacation Rental’s ( who ultimately manages property)- impossible to get someone on the phone. 2. Simply put the House was not clean; A. Decks looked like hadn’t been swept in months B. Windows filthy and bedside table lamp shades and bulbs dirty. C. Fridge was filthy particularly behind the freezer drawer. D. Gross half used condiments and bottle of syrup. E. “White” Sheets and towels were grey and threadbare. Mattresses were super cheap and lumpy. F. Everything in house was the cheapest possible quality. G. Wall to wall carpet in master old, smelly and dirty. H. Radiators were so loud and made strange clicking noises to the point that you couldn’t have them on when watching tv. I. Can’t look out window without seeing another house or propane tank. J. Kitchen floor is not level and piece that covers electric wiring in on kitchen floor is falling apart. Was a very unsatisfactory stay. Photos can be deceiving- beware! We have our own photos of the property if anyone would like to see.

Lovely getaway

This is a beautifully maintained and completely modern home perfect for family or friend time. The main floor master and 3 up bedrooms configured nicely for our family- ( this trip was with our grandchildren.) but would allow privacy for other groups. The kitchen is well supplied for serious cooking. It is convenient to the local grocery, the lake and walking paths and wild life is abundant from every window.
