We had a wonderful week at Sunset Island. We have stayed at several rental properties in the neighborhood, but this was one of the best! David is very communicative, his house is well stocked with the essentials for cooking and beach accessories (chairs, boogie boards, sand toys), and most importantly- clean!! We had plenty of space with 5 kids and 6 adults. We will be returning next summer!

Great property, great location!

Beautiful neighborhood/island! We loved the convenience of having a private bay beach and being within walking distance of the ocean beach. House was beautiful, had everything we needed for a wonderful vacation.

Birthday family celebration get together

Enjoyed our stay in a beautiful town house, very impressive organized kitchen and the garage area with beach chairs, tubes, paddle boards, etc. Great access to the bay and pool area in the community, many restaurants in a walking distance .

We had a wonderful stay in Sunset Island! David was great to work with and make the whole process seamless. The house was very clean, comfortable beds, and a fully stocked kitchen for all of your cooking needs. The kids loved the pool and beach within Sunset Island. We also loved the beach chairs and pool/beach items that were available so we didn’t need to pack our own. It was walkable to all of our favorite places, and the amenities within the community (like the market) made a quick coffee & breakfast convenient. We look forward to renting again when we come back to OCMD.

Great House in a Great Location!

Great for family vacation

Had a wonderful family vacation, townhouse was beautiful. Great location for a family with a toddlers first beach experience with small bay side beaches. My bed was very comfortable and all the rooms were big. David was wonderful with any problem I had and gave us lots of great recommendations for things to do.

Great location in wonderful community

David's well-appointed and neat home was a great base for our 3 generation family. It and the Sunset Island community had all of the amenities we needed for fun and relaxing beach vacation. David made every effort in advance of our arrival to ensure we were prepared for our visit and gave some excellent guidance about activities and restaurants in Ocean City.

Beautiful Property and Location

My family and I spent a full week at this property and it had something for everyone. We all had an amazing time and I wouldn’t recommend anything else when in Ocean City. It is also conveniently located, minutes, to many of the great restaurants and destinations where we spent our evenings. Thank you, David.

Fabulous home away from home

From the moment we walked it we knew we had chosen the right place. It was so clean. Everything was so organized and the layout was wonderful. The pool was nice and of course many restaurants to enjoy. We have been going to ocean city for many years this was the cleanest place we ever stayed and our whole family can’t wait to come back! David was receptive to texts if needed. Great place !

Excellent townhome!

Spacious townhome in the private community of Sunset island. Everything we needed was available either at the townhome, in the community, or just a short walking distance away. The owner was very attentive and accommodating- truly fantastic to work with. We were so happy with our decision to stay!

Perfect spot

We had a beautiful, restful stay at 26 Canal Side Mews. House is updated with beautiful luxury vinyl flooring and well appointed furnishings. The 3 car garage was an added plus. The host communicated very well with us and gave us very helpful tips for our stay. Overall it was an awesome rental better yet a great host.

Home away from home

Entering David’s home was like entering our home. It was cheerful, tastefully decorated, very clean and well maintained. A perfect place for family gatherings.The kitchen was well stocked, plenty of glasses, dishes, pots and pans, cooking and eating utensils. The extras included a crock pot, griddleand hand mixer. The comfortable beds were made up with clean linens and comforters. Our family enjoyed the location of the home coupled with the quietness of the street.Thank you David for sharing your lovely home with us. We look forward to spending another week on Sunset Island relaxing in your home.

Best Vacation Spot

Family vacation

First family vacation for 11 of us all together! What a great trip!!! The house was beautiful and perfect for us!! David was very helpful helping get us situated with parking passes, pool passes, and over all knowledge of the house and resort area! We made so many wonderful memories! Can’t wait to do it again! Perfect week.

David's property is beautiful. Very clean and very well equipped. We ate in some nights using the kitchen, most nights we ate out, but came back and enjoyed movies in the family room with everyone. The deck was perfect for early morning coffee, and the location was an easy walk to so many conveniences. It was such a relaxing week!

Beautiful house and neighborhood

Very spacious and clean home with enough space for a multi-gen family. It is a lot of steps for those with older folks, but to be expected in a townhouse. Loved cooking in the kitchen with lots of amenities! Nice to sit on the deck in the evening. Also included beach chairs and boogie boards so it was less stuff for us to have to bring.

Another great week at Sunset Island!

We love staying on the canal at Sunset Island. 26 Canal Side Mews West was perfect. The recent remodeling made everything feel fresh and clean. The house accommodated our extended family quite comfortably, with plenty of seating on the main floor in the dining room and living areas. The kitchen was well stocked. The homeowner was great at communicating what was available in the home. He went above and beyond expectations! Sunset Island is perfect for extended family vacations.

Beautiful rental

House is beautiful & accommodated all 12 of us. Kitchen had a lot of supplies (plates, pots, bowls, appliances, etc). Only downside was rental only came with 6 pool passes so we had to purchase 6 more. This is not a reflection of the owner, as this is how all rentals are handled. David, the owner, was awesome to deal with, he provided restaurant suggestions, detailed instructions of getting into the rental, as well as additional information.

Convenient & Clean

This was our first combined family vacation and had 10 people. 6 Adults, 4 kids. Plenty of space for all. Amazing house with huge kitchen and attached living spaces. Greatly appreciated the updated/large kitchen with large table, labeled light switches, balcony off living room, garage, and easy check-in process. Walking distance to pool, beach, market, and off site businesses on 67th street. This house has set the bar for all future vacations. Thank you David!

Wonderful Time!

There were 11 of us total over 2 weeks. We rarely get to all be together, but this house allowed us to gather and have separate space as needed! The house was beautiful, very clean, and David was easy to communicate with and was very responsive. The location was close to community amenities as well as the beach. The community pool was a welcome spot for kids & adults alike. Marisol’s Market was our favorite after dinner ice cream run! We loved it all! Thank you for sharing your home with us. We all hated to leave!

A wonderful family vacation!

Sunset Island is a beautiful community and family friendly. Conveniently located near Jolly Roger parks, tons of mini golf, shops and restaurants nearby. Nice pool with waitress service for food and beverages. The bay is super convenient and a great spot for little ones. Waitress service on the bay as well. A ten minute walk to the ocean for those that enjoy the large waves. David’s house is beautifully decorated. Amble bathrooms and very comfortable. Kitchen is very modern and stocked with anything you need. Washing machine and dryer came in handy. The open floor plan on second floor (kitchen, living room and sitting area) was perfect to keep track of all the kids whose ages range from 2 to teen. David was easily accessible for questions and provided some good tips in advance of our stay. We had a great time at this property!
