Great location!

Our family of 6 stayed and it was plenty spacious! Did need some minor repair work - door walls hard to open and dishwasher made a horrible noise every time we ran it. But close to the beach and park. Great restaurants nearby. Good location for families!

Enjoyed most things- WRONG CODE given to us so we had to get customer service on phone to resolve with new code. Delayed our entry by an hour. DISWASHER broken upon inspection when we arrived.

Family Reunion

WE have stayed in Port Royal Village (Village House) on several occasions for our family reunions. Very convenient, great space and layout for two couples or family. Nice deck. Parking and access to the beach.

Relax

Our first trip to Hilton Head was great. The location was perfect for relaxation. It was also close enough for walking to the beach, biking, shopping and many options for dining. We even had a day on the water in a boat rental. The rental unit was very spacious and had all that we needed for our stay.

Overall good but patio doors very very difficult to open after release of safety lock .The door lock was difficult to use also .The doors do not slide easily

Wonderful Condo

This property was very nice and very clean. The walk to the beach was only about 5 minutes which was very nice. The secluded location was spectacular. The rooms were large and spacious and we had everything we needed. The only issue was we never found the location of the official trash bin, and we had to dump our garbage and recycling n the small bin by the elevator. Overall, a very nice condo!

Not as advertised

Led to believe there was access to a pool and a grill. Neither available. Lots of things broken. We were told maintenance would come over to fix them but no one ever came.

This was a nice property - good for families with pets.

This was a nice property - our family stayed with our lab and enjoyed our week at Hilton Head. The property is really pet friendly - no carpet and a great balcony with access down to an open area for walking your pet. The property is decorated nicely and had pretty much everything we needed for the week, even was appointed well enough to have family members that were staying elsewhere on the island over for a big family dinner - 11 of us total. My only complaint was that it could have been cleaner when we arrived. It looked like no one had dusted in a while, and there was quite a few pet hair dust bunnies around the unit - my guess is someone thought the floors looked clean, at a glance, and didn't sweep. However, I kept having to pick the hair clumps up, and my husband finally vacuumed. I think this is more a reflection on the cleaning crew than the owners, so I want to place the blame where it should be. Otherwise, we had a great week and enjoyed the condo. We would rent it again (I would just ask them to make sure it was cleaned well first.) :)

The condo was cozy & nicely decorated.

We were only able to spend one of our four nights in this condo. Upon waking, I got up to take our dog out and there was a wet spot in the carpet. I knew my dog could not have used the bathroom because I was holding her. I tried drying the spot and more wet spots were present. We called maintenance and found out that a washing machine on the 3rd floor had ran over (that room was vacant). We asked to be moved because fans & a water extractor were blocking one of the bedrooms and bathroom. We were granted our request to move to another condo in the building and received some compensation because of the troubles. I will say that we missed THIS condo because it was much nicer and owners had updated the rooms. We felt like we had gone back 2 decades when we got to our other condo. My only real complaint for this condo is that there were some stains in the carpet but overall it was nice. We loved the couch and patio. We got our exercise re-packing & unpacking. I would've love to have stayed in this condo for our entire stay.

The villa was as shown in the pictures and was well appointed EXCEPT the carpet was badly stained, to the point we wore shoes inside all week. The kitchen area (very small, which was fine for us) and bathrooms were tiled; rest was carpet. I would suggest they immediately replace it with wood/laminate. The other difficulty, which was very annoying, the code they gave us would not open the door into the lobby. Since we arrived in the evening, this was problematic. Fortunately, another couple let us in and shared their code with us. We spent most of the next day talking back and forth with the management office who finally solved the problem. Not the way we wanted to spend our first day! The agents in the office were most sympathetic and did what they could but they made repeated calls and sent numerous emails to the owners who never bothered to respond.

Great place

Village House 102 was a great place to stay. It was an easy walk to the beach and easy drive to whatever we needed. The villa was nicely decorated with plenty of room for the four adults staying there. We loved the big patio and umbrella table - a great place to relax in the evening!
