Much needed vacation

My family of 4 were in much need of a vacation, even if it meant 4 different walls. The Village House is in a great location with short drives to most any place on the island. The two bedrooms met our needs and we all enjoyed our stay.

Fantastic Condo near the beach!

This condo is one of my favorites we have stayed in at the Village House! It has plenty of room for my family of five, super comfy and great location. Whoever owns this unit, has done a great job making you feel like you are at home but at the beach at the same time. Thanks for a great stay!

Location

Enjoyed this property. Walked to beach everyday with our pup. Kitchen was put to use everyday. Nice residents in this building and pet friendly. Would definitely stay here again.

Nice beach getaway

We enjoyed our stay and the easy access to the beach. There was plenty of room in the condo for our family of 5 to spread out. The walk to the public beach is fairly easy. There were a couple of small beach chairs available in the condo. There is a pool that is fairly small, but it was not busy the two times we visited.

Nice and roomy!

The condo was very pretty and was very roomy! We loved all the natural light coming in and the patio. We loved the big couch and big TVs. When we got there, one of the AC units was not working and we contacted the owners and they sent someone right away and it was fixed the next day, even on a weekend. If I were to suggest anything it would be to have more essentials in the condo for guests (I.e. shampoo, body wash, etc) Overall very nice and we enjoyed our stay!

The property was very easy to access, and everything was clean and in order. The only issue was the TV., We could not access college football. What was available was not spelled out, but it's a minor point.

We love the Village House Apartment, as our 5 year old calls it. We visited 2 years ago and were fortunate enough to come again this year. We love so much about it, including the kitchen, dining room, location, privacy, and access to both the beach and pool! Just a few minor critiques: The beds seemed a bit creaky in the two bed bedroom and the mattresses in both rooms seemed to have aged some in their comfort. Also, there were wasp nests on both balconies, which I realize can form quickly and may not have been active or visible to cleaning or maintenance staff.

HHI getaway

We've been traveling to HHI for over 40 years and have stayed all over the island. I can say the Port Royal area on the north end of the beach is our favorite spot. You can walk down past the Westin and have peace and solitude if that is what you're seeking. Definitely a spot for shark's teeth and I actually found an arrowhead walking to the beach during our last stay.About the property, the location is perfect and the unit was perfect as well. Right across the street from the HHI city beach park. The unit and kitchen was the perfect size for our family of four and a nice place to entertain additional family members staying within the complex. Nothing negative to stay and would for sure book the place again if needed. Thanks

Good but not Great

Cleanliness needs to be improved. Found other people sock in the bedroom. Sheet had dirt on them. Couch had food on it. Wasp nest on outside on porch. Other then the uncleanness it was a great stay. Love the beach and it was a short walk.

perfect for what we needed

My brother got married at the westin. I have a 3 month old and 2.5 year old. This was the perfect place to stay. So close to the westin and super quiet and cozy for the little ones to get the rest they needed. Check in and check out were super easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Great location, enough space for 5 people comfortably

Everything you see about this listing is real! It is a super comfortable home in a great location. Only a 3-5 minute walk from the beach! Will definitely be coming back!

Beach stay

It was nice and clean. Everything was as advertised. We did have several area of concern. Biggest concern the two queen beds squeezed so bad they were unusable!! almost ruined trip.you also need ceiling fans if you want thermostat at 72. Lastly coffee maker did not work. Trip was nice beds were terrible …the two queens

HHI summer vacation

We had a wonderful stay for the week. The house was beautiful and spacious. However, upon check-in, we noticed that The hall bath had a broken sliding shower door with only a note that said do not slide the one door that was broken. But the shower door still fell out on the floor as my son was taking a shower. After a call to the property management company with regards to the timing of the repair, They let me know they would get back with me as soon as they heard from the owner. The next day someone from the property management company came, without our notice and entered the property to take the door down. The remainder of the stay we had to use that bathroom with only one shower door. It was a little difficult as the kids did not want to use that shower. I understand that things to happen, but this is something that should’ve been fixed before we checked in. It could have been a danger to my son when it fail, and I was not impressed that they entered the property without our notice. The property itself was nice, I would recommend that after each stay someone goes through and makes sure all the lightbulbs are working as we had a few lamps that would not turn on. Overall the property was beautiful and we would definitely stay there again.

Comfortable, Quiet and Easy

Worth its price. We enjoyed our stay! Only major complaint was being greeted by an overwhelming smell of cigarette smoke upon entry. It lingered all week. Very clean but well used (master bedroom TV had no sound). The location was great, even with toting a toddler back and forth from the beach. Quiet and easy access. All in all, thumbs up!

Beautiful Home Minutes From the Beach

We were very pleased. The photos don’t do this place justice. We had plenty of space for our family. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe and just a short walk to the beach. We would definely rent again.

Awesome place to stay

Very pleasant stay. A lot of room, quite, clean. Even though there is construction on the building it was relaxing. Close to the beach and pool. If you are looking for quiet down time. This is the right place.

Good rooms. some problems

Rooms were ok. There was construction throughout the building, so the room number markings were removed, it took us 30 mins to figure out which one was ours. As soon as we checked in we noticed a leak in the bathroom from the roof. The next day elevator quit working, we had to take stairs every time to the 3rd floor. The building main door has a code to get in afterhours. We were not provided with the code with check in instructions. Everytime I had a problem, I had to call Vtrips customer care, obviously customer care calls take a while to get to the rep but they fixed all the problems.

Private Corner Condo

Very comfortable corner condo. It was wonderful to be across from the beach and hear the waves. My only negatives were lack of wine glasses (I donated two) and a not so clean pool.

Very nice vacation

We had three people share the condo for a week of tennis and golf. The condo was very comfortable and appeared to have been recently updated. Golf and tennis were very convenient and within walking distance for the most part.

We enjoyed our stay at the Village House. All is clean and nice, plenty of room and very easy to get to the beach. The only flaws I would say is that the patio door is really hard to open, and the AC tends to blow all in the master bedroom and not so much the rest of the space. Had a good time and hope to come back next year
