Lovely place, great location, appointed well. A couple of issues- the bed sticks out too much and we kept bumping our arms on it and thr rug in the living room needs cleaning.

Great property at La Costa Resort

The condo was exactly as advertised. The extra half bath was nice to have. Very clean and comfortable.

Excellent stay

This property has a great location within the La Costa Resort grounds. Top floor, quiet and with a nice pool directly behind the building. During our four day stay, we used the pool each day and half the time we were the only people at the pool. Easy, quick (five minutes or less) walk to the hotel & all it has to offer. Overall good value and we will return!

Summer Getaway

Spent 10 days at the property as a respite from the desert heat, where we live full time. Upon first look, the unit seemed clean, but “tired”. Then we noticed that the place was a little neglected. We reported our observations to manager and I hope they will be rectified. The location is great, pool, parking etc very convenient. Kitchen utensils ok for basic cooking…you’re on vacation after all!

Good location but dated place

Location is great but the place it’s dated and carpet pretty dirty. Only one old cooking pan it did not have the essentials or very minimal Not and extra full size blanket. If they improve all this we would consider staying there otherwise we would not at all

Visiting family

Staying in the area while visiting family. The condo was clean and well equipped, it’s also very convenient to shopping and restaurants. As we were away most days, we were not able to take advantage of the pool or other amenities, but the entire complex appeared to be extremely well kept. Parking garage was a big plus. In the past when staying at a VRBO property, there usually is a binder with information about the property, instructions for appliances, etc. Something similar would have been helpful. Check in was easy, but we didn’t realize there were two different garage parking entrances/areas under the building. It would have also been helpful to have some instructions for the TV. Having the two remotes and no indication of just how they work was a little confusing. Regardless, we had a great stay and would have no hesitation of using this property the next time we are in town.

Great getaway

Property was as pictured in VRBO ad. Plenty of towels and kitchen equipment. Even though we only had breakfast in the apartment we could see that you could easily cook if you chose to do so. Only criticism was that there were no written instructions in the apartment. Nothing about appliances or TV’s. We know the area but for people unfamiliar with Carlsbad it would be good to have some suggestions about restaurants and shopping.

A fantastic unit, nicely appointed and updated right inside the gate of La Costa. Throughly enjoyed the unit and would come back!

Would be 5 stars with hot water

Great location. The unit was clean and comfortable. The only issue was the lack of hot water in the shower. The unit is at the far end of the top floor hall and presumably farthest from the hot water boiler in the middle of the building. Took 10 to 15 minutes of running the shower before it would warm up, and then it might go tepid again in the middle of a shower. We talked with the management company who said that they had heard this complaint before.

Better than expected

Property was better than expected. My house flooded so I've had to bounce around from place to place. Feel fortunate that this unit was available. It's quiet, easy to access, clean and the property manager has gone out of her way to assist with additional bookings etc.

A little outdated but nice.

Condo is nice and in a good location, but everything is just a bit outdated, kitchen, bathrooms, bedding, carpets, etc. Nice place but in need of a reno. Parking was very convienent and communication with owner was perfect.

Great Location

The condo was well equipped and bed and couch very comfortable. The only drawback was the pool was closed due to COVID. Very nice stay.
