The place was amazing suited all our needs. The only suggestion I would have is maybe upgrade the seating in the living room area the person that gets the couch has the best seat in the house LOL. Come to think about it who wants to spend all their time in the living room when you have three amazing decks to spend your time on overlooking the mountains

Natural oasis

This was a fantastic getaway for the family. Great views. The drive up the mountain has steep inclines but the road up is newly paved. Really enjoyed the natural beauty up top.

Wonderful Getaway

This is a lovely house in a beautiful quiet neighborhood just up the mountain from Maggie Valley. The house very comfortable and well equipped for a group. The property manager is very helpful and responsive. She allowed us a late check out, and answered all my questions.

Beautiful Property

We had a great time during our stay here. The property is beautiful, and the house was perfect for us. You should definitely plan to get to the house before dark for your first night, especially if you're not used to the winding mountain roads. We loved the seclusion, the firepit, the mountain view and back deck. 5 stars!

AWESOME HOUSE

We had an absolute wonderful time…the best time to go is in the Fall months (gorgeous weather). Lots of hikes nearby. The house is perfect and VERY clean! We had 2 kids and 3 adults and it was very accommodating. Lots of room too! Take the advice from the owner and do not drive to the house at night as it is very high on the mountain (steep climb) on a narrow road…it is totally fine during the day! We will definitely be staying again next year!

Beautiful house

Super nice house, comfortable beds & Extremely clean. Loved getting to see the Mountain Views outside the windows. We even got to see deer come up in the back yard. Enjoyed playing pool & shuffle board. Monkia was very responsive to our texts & emails. She really went out of her way to make sure we had a great trip. We would definitely stay here again.

Mountain escape

From my initial contact with host to departure, everything was wonderful. The host answered my texts immediately and was very helpful. The views were outstanding! The home was fully equipped with everything that we needed. The view from the upstairs bedroom was incredible. The room itself was very spacious. The only negative was having to leave. I would highly recommed this property.

This is not a luxury home as advertised

This home was advertised as a luxury stay. This is not a luxury home. If it were a car, it’s a Camry not a Mercedes. The house is Porta laid out, and the heating system was spotty at best.

Our Adventure Base Camp

A cozy and tranquil mountain retreat that has fantastic views. The babbling brook on the side of the house adds to the serenity. Ours kids loved making s'more at the fire pit. We were an adventurous group driving along the Blue Ridge Parkway, Whitewater Rafting on the Nantahala River, picnicking at Cataloochee Valley, Deep Creek River Tubing and hiking in Smoky Mountains National Park. One of our favorites was catching a sunset from the parking lot of Waterrock Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway which also is a great location for star gazing on a clear night! Being out of cellphone coverage adds to the wilderness/mountain retreat experience. We had a wonderful time at the property and highly recommend this location to others!

Spectacular views

This cabin has spectacular views. The house sits high on the mountain. The road is paved all the way up to the house so easy drive up to me. I would arrive during day light due to narrow roads and navigating. House was very clean and had everything we needed. Katherine, the guest contact through Evolve checked on us a few times to make sure all was good and to see if we needed anything. We had no problems. The only thing that would make this cabin better is a hot tub and a comfy recliner 😀. We did enjoy the sauna. The location is good for visiting other areas like The Biltmore, Bryson City, Cherokee, Waynesville, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc.

Amazing Stay in the Mountains!!!

We had a wonderful vacation and this rental really added that special touch. It was beautiful, comfortable, clean, and those views were amazing. A couple of days before we arrived, our host sent us an email with all the information needed to check in and more! I appreciated this so much as it had a lot of useful information like our code to get in, directions, where to go for groceries, and how to use the amenities of the house. Once we arrived, the house was better than the pictures (and those pictures were beautiful). They had everything labeled with instructions. One of the biggest things for me is cleanliness and this was 5/5. Everything was clean and the house smelled good. It felt cozy and warm. The views from the family room and the balconies were absolutely breath taking. The first night we had dinner out on the main balcony. We did not use the grill but it has one. We also used the fire pit (which is smokeless) and it was very nice. The front of the house has a bench swing with a regular swing on each side - my kids LOVED this. It was so nice to swing out there with the birds chirping while looking out into the mountains. Overall, this was a 5/5 stay (probably one of the best we have done on VRBO) and we would definitely book it again. I highly recommend it if you are really looking to experience being out in the mountains, seeing the stars bright in the sky at night, and just wanting to disconnect and relax.

Lovely Mountain Home

We have stayed in W. North Carolina rentals for many, many years. Some have been great, and some "not so great." This house was really nice with lovely finishes. It was clean upon arrival, everything was in working order, the linens were fresh, the towels were plentiful, the kitchen well-stocked and the bed was comfortable! Being a "flat lander," I want to comment on the access. One of my biggest concerns when renting in this area is the trek up to the house. Of course, you must climb the mountain to get that desirable mountain view. We have rented some in the past that were downright scary. As such, I must say that one of my *favorite* things about this house was the drive up. Yes, it took a little while to get there - but the road was paved and easy to drive - even when encountering another vehicle! And some of the views along the way rivaled those that you see on the Parkway! We also really enjoyed driving thru the golf course, and even took advantage of the Bar & Grill for a quick bite. But the restaurant options in Maggie Valley and Waynesville were plentiful - we never wanted for a good meal. And yes, there were evenings when we opted to stay in and just enjoy the sounds of nature on the back deck - heavenly! Finally - the owner was incredibly helpful and quick to respond to texts. Spectacular Views

The cabin is high on the mountain and has great views. The drive up the mountain is paved and was an easy drive up to me. I would arrive during day light due to narrow roads and easier navigation though. The cabin was clean and had all we needed for our stay. Katherine, the guest host checked on us a few times to make sure we had what we needed and that everything was good. We had no issues. Detailed check in/access info was provided in advance. The location is good for trips to other areas including The Biltmore, Bryson City, Cherokee, Waynesville, Blue Ridge Parkway, etc. The only things the cabin is missing is an outdoor hot tub and comfy recliner 😀. It does have a big jet bath tub in master.

Beautiful!

Secluded & Well-maintained with nice views. Great layout with at least one bedroom and bathroom on each floor. Comfortable with plenty of seating and space for everyone. I always say I’ll never stay the same place twice but I would stay here again in a heartbeat! Loved it.
