I spent my 20s on the Vineyard in the 1990s. I think if you are young and free everyone should try a whole summer on the Vineyard. It changed my life. I had an island lawn care service with a few customers in this very neighborhood. These folks became my dear friends. The Vineyard is very important to me and my family. We love the island and know that when you are here you are on island time. It's a great community.

For years we lived in Lambert's Cove until 2013, but we vowed to move back before the kids got too old. This is not our primary home, nor will it be. It's a vacation home.
We live up in Boston and are raising our family there.

After searching for many years, we found this place in November and we just purchased it January. It's all brand new and exciting. It is a summer home for you all to enjoy. Customer service is very important to us. We want to make sure that you are very comfortable here. We can help with any island suggestions as well. As a result of being new here, you may be hesitant to stay with us, as we have no history yet. But trust me we know the ins & outs of the island very well, and we know what it means to have a great customer experience.

The name of my lawn-care service was Your Way Works, it was a simple concept.
We don't do it their way, we don't even do it our way. We do it your way, cause your way works. We care about you and your needs. Come stay here, you'll never forget it.

First of all, we knew right away when we first saw it. I loved the lawn and the great big Black Oak in the corner of the yard. It's all fenced in and super private. It's like a park hidden away off of the road. When we went inside, we thought the layout was perfect for two families, which is how I had vacationed as a kid in the 1980's.

The location is right near the famous "Writer's Row" where William Styron, Mike Wallace & Art Buchwald once lived. I also wrote a book called Hundred Day Haul about the 1990s.

Back to the house, It is designed for vacation. It's bright. The decor is cute, and it is downtown. If you have kids old enough they can easily walk to the Black Dog for some spinach & feta croissants (my personal favorite). If you have a guest that's coming over on the boat, they can easily walk to the house.

If you like to run, you can run around West Chop. Mink Meadows Golf Course is less than 2 miles away. The beach is right here, and we have really nice beach chairs. We know you will fall in love with this place like we have. Come be our guest, and we'll do the rest.
