The property was in a great location for beach access, a playground for the children and a short drive to the grocery store. The hot tub and pool are a great design for all ages to enjoy.

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback! It's wonderful to hear the location worked so well for your family — easy beach access, the playground nearby, and a quick grocery run all make such a difference on vacation. We're also glad the hot tub and pool were a hit with everyone in your group; that thoughtful design really does make the space feel welcoming for all ages. We'd love to welcome you back for another easy, enjoyable getaway.

The house was big and fit our family. Two king rooms with a shared very small bathroom wasn’t good. Pool area nice, kitchen was well equipped but oven and microwave need to be replaced, very slow. The master bathroom shower didn’t work except for the hand held shower head. Master bedroom tv also didn’t work. Overall a good place to stay.

Thank you for sharing such a thorough review of your stay. We're glad the home offered plenty of space for your family and that the pool area and well equipped kitchen added to the experience. We do appreciate you flagging the areas that fell short, and our team has been made aware so those items can be reviewed and addressed. It means a lot that you still found it a good place to stay, and we would love the chance to host you again.

Only complaint is that the water heater is a little small for a house that accommodates so many people. Even with that issue, 5 Stars. Avant Stays was great, house was great

Thank you for the wonderful 5-star review and for the honest note about the water heater — that kind of feedback genuinely helps us think about how the home serves larger groups, and we appreciate you flagging it. We're so glad that despite that hiccup, the overall experience still earned top marks and that the home delivered for you. It's also lovely to hear our team made a positive impression along the way. We'd love the opportunity to host you again on your next trip.

Vacation before back to school

My three kids, wife, and I stayed at the house. Plenty of space with 6 bedrooms. Pool and Hot tub a plus. We rented golf carts and could ride to the Marina to eat. We brought our boat and kept at the marina as well. You can drive the golf cart to different eating places as well about a mile down the street.

My family group of 7 adults and 3 small kids stayed at this property over Fourth of July. When we got there the house was not in an acceptable condition. The outside had hornets nests in obvious places on the porch and railing. The putting green was covered in fire ants. The pool had a lot of debris in it. The house floors clearly had not been mopped or swept. The outdoor grills had not been kept up and we were unable to use because the tray was covered in too much grease. The house is falling apart in places and needs a lot of work. The porches are soft and sloping and do not feel sturdy or safe. The bunk beds are not sturdy and have the wrong size mattress up top making it unsafe for kids. The water pressure is not good and the bathrooms are dated. Light fixtures didn’t work. Overall we were very disappointed with our stay and felt like we significantly overpaid relative to what we got. Would not recommend this property unless/until a lot of work is done to fix it.

We're sorry. Arriving with your family and finding the home in that condition, particularly with small children in the group, is not the standard we hold ourselves to, and we understand why the stay didn't feel like what you paid for. The safety concerns you raised have gone straight to the team responsible for the home, with a contractor brought in to assess, and the remaining items are being worked through as well. We understand your frustration, and we're not going to try to explain any of it away. Thank you for laying this out in the detail you did. It gives us what we need to get it addressed properly.

While we’re glad to hear that you enjoyed your stay once the issues were resolved, we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused by the water leak, kitchen faucet, and AC, especially during those first two nights. Your comfort is important to us, and rest assured that we’ve addressed these issues to prevent future occurrences. Thank you for your patience, and we hope to welcome you back for an even better experience.

This property is absolutely lovely and very clean. The property management team was attentive, communicative, and very nice. We did however have a couple issues that were never fully taken care of. The TVs in the bedrooms did not work; management sent maintenance same day, however they never returned to fix the issue. The gas grills were out of propane and needed new flavorizer bars and grates - grilling was quite dangerous as drippings had nothing to catch on and caused major flare ups. And finally the many signage inconsistencies especially with trash days and quiet hours. The app, the paperwork within the house, and what was sent via the property management team all showed different times, hours and days, so it made it difficult to abide by rules that had potential fine repercussions. With all of that said, we had a fantastic time, even cancelled all “dinner out” plans to stay in and cook because spending time in the house with our company was such a better experience!

We’re so glad you had a fantastic time and enjoyed the home—it’s great to hear it became the perfect place to gather and spend quality time together. We also appreciate you calling out the issues you experienced. We’re sorry the TVs weren’t fully resolved, the grills weren’t ready for use, and that the inconsistent information caused confusion. That’s not the experience we aim to provide, and we’ll be addressing these items with the team to ensure better follow-through and clearer communication moving forward. Thank you for your thoughtful and balanced feedback. We’d love to host you again for an even smoother stay next time!

Great location and space is ample for everyone to have their own space

Came for Spring Break. The home is in a great location and perfect for the teenagers to be able to get around on bikes. The rooms house was clean and everything was clearly labeled. Our big issue was the pool and hot tub. The hot tub heated up only twice and we paid for the pool to be heated and although they property company sent service multiple times it never did work. The property management team was very responsive and tried to fix it. Confirm it is all working before paying for this service.

Great house !

This house was awesome for ourselves and our two children and their children. Three under 4. Park is close by and beach is right across the street. We had minor issues that were taken care of right away by Beachside Vacations. Great property management company! Pool and spa were under construction ( no work during our stay) but that was fine as the house met all our other needs. Needs a little TLC with paint touch ups and bathroom woodwork but again, no major issues. Would definitely recommend!

Not so Happy Place

Elevator didn’t work, arcade game broken, pool was cloudy, outside was dirty, whole house needed to be power washed, moldy air registers, hvac filters hadn’t been changed for a very long time. Some Bathrooms need updating. Several exterior landscape lights broken. The layout of the house is fine and probably once was a very nice house but clearly not taken care of and needs updating and repair. Our family rented another cottage down the street for the same price and was in far better shape. Sorry to say this house is not worth the money paid. Made us not so happy being at the “happy place”.

So comfortable and relaxing

Beautiful, spacious home- Even better than the pictures. The kitchen is very spacious and well equipped. The porches are amazing- on every level and from many bedrooms. The master bedroom was a sanctuary- bed is very comfortable and bathroom very spacious. The outdoor living was also top notch- we used the hot tub almost everyday for the 2 weeks we were there. And the fully fenced in yard was perfect for our dog. Location was 1-2 min walk to the beach. Would highly recommend and wound definitely stay there again. Thank you!

Nice but....

We liked the property overall but a few things just didn't sit right with us. The trash cans were full when we got there and it took 2 days, 3 texts and a in-person visit to the mgt office to get this taken care of. Also, there is visable mold on the door of the top floor elevator, Ice maker was completely frozen, like a waterfall was inside.

Isle of Palms Getaway

We were looking for a place for 4 couples. It's the first time we traveled together so we wanted to make sure everyone had a nice room and space to spread out. And we found it - great pool and hot tub area outside, rooftop deck to see the ocean, huge dining table to eat and play games and other nooks for someone to go if they wanted some time to themselves. The place was clean, and had all of the necessities. Wonderful spot just across the street from the ocean. Great place!
