We took a chance on this place since it didn't have any reviews and we would rent it again in the future. Here are some takeaways from our stay:
Pros:
-Best thing about this place is that it's located close to the beach!
-Beach wagon provided was great to carry chairs, cooler, umbrella to beach!
-Hot water stayed hot for both my husband and I to shower
-Provided plenty of towels/washcloths
-For the most part, a clean place to stay
Cons:
-Find a new cleaning crew- sink and shower faucets and shower bar were nasty with black sludge. Replacing and updating these hardwares would make a great difference
-tiny shower-need to put a suction cup shower shelf in shower to hold shampoos/bodywashes. Built in "shower shelves" don't hold anything
-replace storm door...there are sharp, rusty bolts poking through the old storm door that attach the sign for the place that can easily cut someone (storm door did not latch bc it was missing the part that was suppose to be on the door casing for it to latch to)
-the person above us the days we were there (5/31-6/3) was a very LOUD WALKER! It sounded like they stomped everywhere they walked. We had to run the ac fan so it would drown out the "stomping" that took place each morning at 530! Also, the unit above this one has an entrance that's on ground level and the stairs to that space go up the other side of this unit's living room...it's pretty noisy when someone is going in and out (this is no fault to the owners of this unit, this is just info that I'd like to know before renting a place)
If you're wanting to do any cooking...you probably don't want to do it here....extremely outdated kitchen. Looked retro in the pictures but ended up very dated.
I know it sounds like a lot of cons, but being so close to the beach and being a mostly clean property, we would definitely return!
Also, Danielle, the guest contact, was great and helpful each time we called!
