Paradise in Bradenton

We had a wonderful stay! The house was spacious, clean, and had everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The patio was perfect for our pets to enjoy the outdoors safely, and the whole space truly felt like a home away from home. We’d definitely love to come back!

Excellent stay!

My husband and I loved our stay at Uncle Louie’s! The house was very convenient to everything we wanted to do. The house was a fantastic option for our dogs.

Very nice comfortable home

We enjoyed our stay here at the Bradenton home. It was clean, had everything we needed and convenient to many places in the area. We would stay here again. And our kitty enjoyed her stay here, too. She enjoyed looking at the birds from the screened porch. Thanks

Loved our stay

We arrived late in evening and were a bit nervous about being in the middle of a neighborhood but fell in love. Quaint place with old Florida vibes. Excellently stocked!

Great stay

The home is beautiful and well cared for. Loved spending time in the yard even though the pool was too cool to get in. They only thing that would have made our stay any better would have been a king sized mattress and room darkening shades.

More Than We Expected

The house was pristine. It was perfect for our needs. We enjoyed the pool, and our dog liked the yard. The location was central to everywhere we wanted to go. We went to Anna Maria Island, Sarasota, and St. Pete.

Relaxing Stay, Convenient Area

The house was great, clean and just as advertised. Amenities were good, the pool was enjoyable, though it would've have been nice if it was covered. My only advice is that the TVs should be upgraded to newer models. However, that did not impede our vacation as we spent much of our time outside of the house. I recommend staying here if you're looking to explore the Sarasota area.

Great home!

This is a lovely property! Very clean! We loved the back yard, but we were a bit early for warm weather to enjoy the pool. Great place to dangle feet in the pool! Host/maintenance very responsive and even followed up after we left the property. Would stay again! This is a hidden treasure!

the pool was to be the focal point of our stay , when we arrived it was dirty and not very clear. It is quite comfortable for a party of 4 or less. Convenient 15-18 min drive to the beach and main name brand shopping.

Exactly what we needed

The home is in a great location but it is in a busy area. It was clean and thoroughly appointed. We took our 7 year old grandson. It was a thrill watching him have so much fun swimming and playing in the pool. I recommend staying here and we would stay again next time in the area. It was exactly what we needed.

Nice house close the beaches. House was well stocked and the inside was very clean on arrival. Nice washer and dryer for use. Downside- The lawn needed mowed and the pool was not cleaned the whole week. Queen size bed was not comfortable and noisy. Otherwise had a great stay at the house.

Great for traveling with your pet

The unit was supposed to be available at 3:00pm. When we arrived at 4:30pm it still was not ready. We waited another 20 minutes for the cleaning crew to finish. Entered the rental to completely wet floors and a running dryer. The home is a great space with a fenced in yard and a pool. Great for us as we were traveling with our dog. Large kitchen and dining area with most of the things you need to cook your own meals. Could use a few more serving pieces though. Bedroom 1 had a king sized bed(2 twins pushed together). Bed was absolutely horrible with a 4-5” drop between the 2 adjacent mattresses. Ended up switching bedrooms in the middle of the night because it was so uncomfortable. Bedroom 2 had a queen sized bed. Comfortable if you like softer beds. We had access to a washer and dryer which is always a plus. Unfortunately the dryer was packed with the laundry from the previous occupants. This meant I had to unload the full dryer in order to dry my own things. There was no place to put it so ended up on the floor until I was done. Then I had to put it back in the dryer. Outdoors had a screened in porch which was great for sitting in and a pool. Did not swim but sat around the pool during the day. A very comfortable place to stay with several restaurants and grocery stores close by.

Great stay at Uncle Louie’s

We enjoyed this home. 4 adults traveling with a dog. Host was great and available and helped with minor issues upon check in. We found everything as in pictures and very clean. Well kept house and pool was amazing. There wasn’t anything you needed and did not find in the kitchen. Neighborhood is peaceful and quiet (surprised to read other reviews mention it is in a “busy neighborhood”). Close to everything in the Bradenton area: 15 min to river walk, 30 min to Anna Maria. Good restaurants minutes away. The screened lanai area was really nice although chairs need upgrading. A note about yard maintenance done in Sundays is on the fridge, so keep in mind they will enter the back yard to mow lawn unannounced in case you’re enjoying the pool area

Good but could be better

Arrived at 4:30 pm for a 3:00 check in and the house was not ready. After 20 more minutes waiting in the car we could finally get in. Floors were still all wet and the dryer was running with a full load in it. Took the bedroom with the king bed in it and it was horrible. Could not spend the night on it because it was so bad. There is a 5” dip from where one mattress ends to the other. Very uncomfortable. Queen bed in the other room was better but would have been a big problem if we had someone else with us. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you need for cooking your own meals. Fenced in yard was great for a pet owner and the pool was very well taken care of. Several chairs and chaises to spend time by it. The screened in porch was also a nice place to spend evenings when the mosquitoes came out. Laundry was great to have but had the previous occupants laundry still in the dryer so I had to move it in order to dry my own clothes. No where to put those so they went onto the floor and then back into the dryer afterwards. Great location as there are many restaurants and grocery stores nearby. A good house for a last minute stay.

Hosts were great at taking care of a small issue. The remote for TV had disappeared 😁

Lovely quite property with a wonderful back yard and pool. Close to beaches too! Would definitely return.
