Highly recommend

Condo was clean and as discribed. We had an issue with AC but once host was reached it was taken care of right away. Close to the beach, pools, hot tubs, everything was amazing.

Hi Pete, the right vacation home is everything, and we're disappointed if this wasn't the one for you. We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following: - We weren’t made aware of any elevator issues during your stay, but we want future guests to know that there are working elevators located at each end of the building's covered parking area. - We’ve confirmed the elevators were functioning during and after your visit. - All lighting inside the condo itself is operating properly; we believe your comment referred to the shared hallway lights, which are managed by the building and have not received prior complaints about brightness. Thanks for your valuable feedback as we continue to improve for future guests!

Wonderful vacation

First time to visit Galveston TX and was very happy with our condo. It seemed to be a safe area, we didn’t hear the other guests while we were in our rooms. It was clean and just as described and you are right beside a WM if you need anything and cross the road and you are on the beach you can’t beat it

Nice place

Needed a place to getaway and relax. This had everything I wanted. The bed was a little uncomfortable but that’s more of a me issue. Nice location and reasonable price.

Great spot for a lower cost

Great location, right at the beach. Management was great at responding to concerns/needs. Only thing was it was a little small for full comfort and the property (actual building) had some minor fixings that could be done but I’d still stay again due to the price and convenience of location. Overall, we got what we needed.

Summer Vacation

The location was perfect. We were able to walk right across to the beach. My granddaughters loved the kid friendly pool. We spent most of our time there. The hot tubs were also a great amenity. The condo had a beach view. Only issue make sure you use the codes given at the office at check in not the codes emailed by Evolve.

Family fun!

This condo was the perfect size for our little group! It was clean and we could see the hot tub and the ocean! There were plenty of towels and supplies to get you through the first couple of days. Make sure you have an ice chest because the refrigerator is small. Ice is available on site. Have fun!

Roaches

The roaches were bad. You can tell they had just bomb/Fogged the apartment because they had dead roaches on side of the futon, on the table and in the cabinets and all in the pots. Also the mattress was very uncomfortable and the twin bunk beds mattress was very very thin. We can feel the spirals in the mattress

The homeowner would like to address your concerns:- Our condo receives regular pest control treatments, and unfortunately, some dead pests may have been left behind. Since your visit, housekeeping has thoroughly cleaned the space, including the cabinets.- The bed has a medium-firm mattress that is about two years old. To enhance comfort, we have added a high-quality mattress topper.We value your feedback, as it helps us improve the guest experience.

Good location

The location was great however the property was not very clean when we arrived and it had some issues. The toaster oven was missing pieces of it so it made it hard to cook anything.

It appears that the pan was missing, which certainly made cooking more challenging.To address this, I've replaced the old toaster oven with a new combination air fryer/toaster oven, which should make cooking a breeze and enhance the overall kitchen experience for our guests.Thank you again for bringing these issues to our attention. Perfect little spot!

We loved staying here! It's walkable to a Rita's, which we loved! Very convenient to be able to cross the street and be right on the beach. It felt clean and the AC works fantastic! There's also a Walmart right next door, which is extremely convenient! This condo is a really great value. Our 2 minor complaints were the toaster oven not working and the WiFi and cell reception in the condo were pretty bad, so don't plan on trying to use the WiFi for work during your stay. But it didn't bother us that much. It was nice to step away from our phones for a while. We will definitely be returning in the future!

Small refrigerator

The condo was cute but small. The location was not where they made it outto be. The refrigerator was a motel size refrigerator. Could not fit a weeks worth if groceries in it. Made several trips to walmart. Thank god it was right next store. That should be made known to people in the advertisement.

Owner's response: "Diane Thanks, for you and your family coming to visit! The vacation condo is right across the street and an easy walk to the beach. The resort has a swimming pool and hot tub as well as a fitness center plus tennis courts.Only a few minutes in one direction is the Pleasure Pier and Downtown Historic District. In the other direction only minutes away are Moody Gardens and Schlitterbahn Waterpark.We are close to fishing piers and various tours or cruises. There is a Walmart next door for groceries, beach items, etc. The kitchen has a dishwasher, stove-top, toaster oven with air fryer, microwave, and compact fridge. The photos in the listing are accurate and do not show a full-size fridge.There are many restaurants to choose from. Some are located with water views. We do all we can to make the best possible stay, and we look forward to this property hosting many satisfied guests. We will continue to deliver the 5-star experiences we know we can deliver."

Great place

We enjoyed our stay in this cute condo at the Victorian. The location was perfect for daily walks to the beach. All we had to do was pack up our wagon and walk across using the cross walk right in front of the condos. It’s very close to restaurants and grocery stores. The Victorian itself has easy covered parking, it’s gated so it felt very safe, the pools looked great even though we never got around to using them, the outdoor shower on ground level was so helpful. This condo was clean upon arrival, it was perfect for myself and my two kids (11 and 14 years old). The bed in the main bedroom was comfortable and clean. The bed in the little hallway nook was great too. The bathroom looked new and clean. There were many other families staying here so I felt very comfortable. I would stay here again!
