Oceanfront condo with beach view – 2 pools

Fully furnished vacation condo overlooking the pool with incredible views of the Gulf of Mexico. Located on the top floor of the Victorian, this condo can accommodate up to six people, giving them all they need to enjoy their time in Galveston. In the mornings enjoy a cup of coffee on the private balcony as you enjoy the sound of the waves and a beautiful beach view. Complex has two pools, two hot tubs, a tennis court, laundromat, ice machine, elevators and luggage carts available for your enjoyment. The unit has a studio kitchen with granite counter-tops, stove, microwave, refrigerator, dishes and cooking utensils. There is one bedroom with a queen size bed, a queen size sleeper sofa in the family room and built-in junior bunk beds in the hallway. Wi-Fi included.
The Victorian Condos are centrally located offering the perfect getaway for an unforgettable family vacation. Just steps from the newly updated Babe’s Beach, 61st fishing pier, restaurants and Walmart. When you’re not soaking up the sun, take a trip to the Historic Galveston Island Strand, Schlitterbahn waterpark and Moody Gardens or the Pleasure Pier, all just minutes away.

Everything about this place is EXACTLY like the host describes. Amazing view of the pool and the ocean. The condo has everything you need to make your beach vacation memorable. Very cozy and relaxing environment. Beach chairs and toys are provided. Really enjoyed the pool!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a getaway to Galveston!! Thanks again.

Beach access and value was what I was going for when I booked this place. It meet that criteria. The pools and hot tub were great. Staff was nice. Easy check in and out. The ad is accurate, the place sleeps six, but it really doesn't seem like it could accommodate six people. My husband and I traveled with our two young teens and we had some struggles with the space restrictions. I recommend getting a dresser to help with suitcase storage. I recommend this place for a short stay for a couple with one or two small children.

The view is beautiful - we have stayed here (this apartment) before and love it - additions to the apartment (shelves in the bathroom - extra fridge and freezer) - plus everything even better arranged than on previous visit (2022) - much appreciated!!!! We really feel like this is our "home" in Galveston. We'll ask to stay here again next time we visit Galveston!!

I wish I could leave a better review, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing\.When we arrived, the condo was not clean as advertised\. We found stained bedding, hair throughout the bathrooms \(including around the sink, toilet, and bathtub\), mud on the bathtub, urine buildup around the base of the toilet, and a significant accumulation of dust along the ceilings and walls\. It was obvious that the condo had not been cleaned to the standard we expected before our arrival\.After I contacted the host, he offered to send the cleaning crew\. However, by that point we had already unpacked and settled in with our children\. Having cleaners come would have required us to gather all of our belongings, interrupt our vacation, and wait while they completed a job that should have been done before we checked in\. We declined because it would have created even more inconvenience\.Since finding another place to stay at the last minute wasn’t realistic, we had no choice but to remain in the condo and make the best of the situation\.I don’t expect perfection, but I do expect a vacation rental to be thoroughly cleaned before guests arrive\. That basic expectation was not met\. If cleanliness is important to you, I would recommend asking for current photos or confirming the cleaning status before booking\. I hope this review helps future guests make an informed decision\.

We're truly sorry that you did not enjoy your stay. We always want our guests to have a great experience. Unfortunately, we cannot provide complimentary stays or partial refunds, that you kept insisting upon during your stay, without first being given the opportunity to address any concerns during your stay. I think that's only fair. As you mentioned we offered to immediately do additional cleaning, and we provided you with extra linens. You refused the cleaning and did not use the linens. When you contacted us, we also offered to refund the unused portion of your reservation if you felt the condo's condition was unacceptable and chose to check out early. That option was available, but you elected to complete your stay. Our condo is professionally cleaned before every guest, and all linens are freshly laundered and replaced after each stay. I was not able to post pictures in this response, so I have uploaded to our property photos larger versions of the shower photos that were taken just hours before your check in, as we routinely do close out photos. The photos are the same shower area you put in your review, simply taken from a wider perspective. These are historic Galveston condos rather than a brand new construction so close in you may find some flaws, but it is clean and well maintained. The condo is accurately represented in our listing photos. We take pride in the fact that guests who choose to stay with us will find the condo comfortable, clean, affordable, and enjoy its beautiful beach view from the private balcony.

Lovely stay!

Great location! We stay at these condos frequently and have always had a great time. Beautiful views of ocean and pool with cozy balconies to take it all in! Clever floor plans make space work well! Thanks again for the great stay!
