3rd visit

We love this place. This was our third stay. It’s close to the Disney parks, near convenient shopping, and there’s an excellent chance we will stay there again on our next visit. Still never saw the gaters though!! Also, there’s never any salt. Bring your own salt.

Sun Lake Stay

This property is in a great location just off 192. It is set far enough back however that it is very secluded and quiet. The onsite pool and hot tub are well maintained. And it is very close to all the parks at Disney.

Great place with kids or big family.

Location was perfect for parks. Just a short drive. Condo was so spacious and perfect for a larger group. Kids loved it! Slightly outdated inside but that doesn't bother us at all.

It was not bad.

It wasn't bad but jot great. It has all the basic needs, like beds, blankets, pillows, towels... Etc but having to share one bottle of shampoo between 3 bathrooms is kind of weird. Also, the place had a moldy smell and keeping the fan on all day couldn't get rid of it. The fridge was very clean tho!

The place was perfect for us. Disney was very close, walking distance from cracker barrel and tgifridays. Short drive to anything you might need. Wish we had known about the massage place located within walking distance in the plaza. That would have been perfect after Disney. Hoping to stay here in the future. For us, it was the perfect location. The condo we stayed in had all kitchen needs. We were able to cook anything we wanted with ease which saves when having to eat out. A few ants were present but heck who doesn’t have a few bugs it was not a bad infestation.

I wish I had paid attention to the reviews. Everything you see is still a problem. Dingy, ants, few kitchen necessities, appliances in poor condition. We had to go out and buy wash clothes ( We had 6 guests, they left us with 4). Took property manager 20 hours to bring us wash clothes. Had to buy supplies to cook with because kitchen was minimal. Worst part, after a long day we wanted to relax in the pool. After dusk, you can’t get in. We will not stay with this condo again.

Should have been greatl

This was our second time here, so obviously liked it enough to stay again. The problem was the refrigerator went out on our 3rd day (we were staying for 5 days.) The contact I had assured me it was fixed (day 1) and was not. Day two I called again and she said “owner is working on it, he buying new fridge” got back that night from Disney and nothing was done. By now food was getting hot. The third day a bag of ice was brought in but I couldn’t risk a lot of the food I had brought so threw away a lot. I was compensated a total of $43. I had spent about $200 so we wouldn’t have to eat out during the week and had to throw away food and eat out anyway. I feel I should have been compensated more or something else should’ve been done other than them assuring me “owner working on it, will be fixed today or new fridge bought today.” As this never happened.

Great stay!

We were very happy with our stay! House was well stocked, owner went out of their way to bring baby items, the house was close to the parks (under 15 minutes). The pool and hut tub were clean. The area was quiet, gated and felt safe. Would definitely return!

Needs improvement

This condo needs lots of improvements before being rented out. All the appliances in kitchen weren’t working or not working properly. Very little hot water for such a large condo. Small ants all over kitchen and when reported I was given a can of raid which I was not going to spray in the kitchen area. Sinks in bathrooms don’t drain properly. The positives were close to Disney, easy to get an Uber to and from, and the washing machine and dryer worked.

Ants!!

We stayed two nights. We had purchased a package of cookies and muffins. The ANTS INVADED. The master bath had a jacuzzi tub and there was mold growing around all the jets. Whoever does the housekeeping is ripping the owners off. I feel bad for leaving this review because I have a feeling the owners live out of state and the property management that they are using has failed them immensely.

Decent place

It was okay-not the best, but not the worst. There were a lot of ants in the kitchen, and on the back porch. The front door was giving us problems so I called the number provided for help. Instead of just talking me through how to do it, they insisted on texting. A major downside was that the listing said their would be access to the pool and clubhouse. This was not the case. I texted the number again to try to figure out the issue. After talking to a resident on the condominium community who saw us struggling to get in, they informed us that the HOA had sent out an email over a month ago explaining that the clubhouse/pool would be closed. That should have been communicated prior to confirming my booking as the pool was one of the main reasons we went with this condo instead of others in the are. The check out procedure tells you to start the dishwasher and the washing machine with any used towels but no detergents were provided. There was also no extra trash bags available. On the upside, it is pretty spacious and it’s in a gated community. Overall, I would suggest going with a different condo if given the chance.

Dated but close to Disney

Pros: has large bedrooms and lots of bathrooms Very close to grocery stores, restaurants and Disney parks Plenty of towels Included coffee pot, toaster and fridge with ice maker Cons: pool is open when people would be at the parks There were various bugs, including one roach No spatula in kitchen Needs cosmetic updates like curved shower curtain rods and carpet cleaning Overall a pretty good spot to sleep and hang out if you are doing lots of park days.
