So much closer to everything than expected!

Great family trip! More than enough room for our family of 4 to enjoy the home. The home could have easily accommodated 2 families of 4 and then some. We were close enough to the Winter Park resort to head in for morning activities, come back to the house for lunch and a little relaxation, and head back to the resort for more afternoon fun! Well equipped kitchen and comfortable atmosphere. I hope you enjoy your trip as much as we did!

Awesome place! Great location!!

We took our boys skiing for the first time in Winter Park and decided to stay here! It’s a great place. Very clean, amazing hot tub and tons of space. It’s about a 10-15 min drive to Winter Park and a 5 minute drive to Fraser. Fraser has everything you need... grocery, gas, restaurants, etc. The owners are so accommodating and helpful. We loved this place and would recommend to anyone!!!!

Great house; not great management

We loved the house, but the management is mediocre. House wasn't very clean, no hot water or heat when we arrived so we had to find the thermostat and hot water heater to turn on both. Some amenities, but lotion bottles were empty, not enough dishwasher detergent for our stay, no laundry detergent despite having a nice laundry. Some old spices, but no salt and pepper, no plastic bags or containers for food storage. Sheets are old and stained. Management should be much better.

Unimpressive in numerous ways

The property was disappointing. Everything is very cheap from the furniture to the quality of the construction. Cleanliness of the property left much to be desired. Foggy film on windows long overdue for cleaning, greasy film on the granite countertops next to the stove, hot tub water was smelled funky. "Gift basket" contained mouthwash that was 7 YEARS past expiration and several small bags of chips that were 6 months past expiration. Reportedly there was no AC so we had to constantly jockey windows and window shades up and down to maintain a comfortable temperature, especially a comfortable sleeping temperature at night. Overall, a very sub-par, overpriced, amateur operation I would not recommend.

Beautiful and cozy

We stayed at this property in June and had a lovely stay. The home was very clean, all the amenities were perfect and all that we could have asked for or needed. We enjoyed a relaxing happy hour around the kitchen island with gorgeous views out the window, a quiet evening in the private hot tub, and coffee on the spacious deck. The beautiful fireplace was inviting and created a very cozy feel to the home. We absolutely loved our stay. Whether a romantic getaway, friend weekend or a family vacation this home provides the best combination of a mountain luxury home and a cozy and comfortable experience. We highly recommend this mountain gem!

Peaceful Retreat

This was my second stay in this great home in Tabernash. It worked equally well for two families as it did for a girl’s weekend. It’s always well stocked for cooking in the kitchen and has plenty of spaces to spread out for kids and adults alike. Now that it’s colder, the heating element above the outdoor dining area and outdoor fireplace are especially nice. And the hot tub and adjacent seating area are a great place to hang out after hiking during the day. The area is also super quiet, yet close to all. I would definitely recommend this house to someone looking for a quiet getaway and will definitely be visiting again.

Devine Home Away From Home

What a fantastic home and location! We were visiting the area for our son's wedding at Devil's Thumb Ranch. The property is located just minutes from downtown Fraser/Winter Park and within minutes to Devil's Thumb Ranch/Resort/Spa. The spacious home had everything you could possibly need, soft fluffy towels, nice beds, and linens. The kitchen was set up with so many helpful things. Very nice pots, pans, dishes, cutlery, coffee maker, coffee grinder, toaster oven, toaster, lots of spices, salt, pepper. All the little things that make a difference if you plan on using the kitchen. Great design with a family room upstairs and downstairs. Super bright rooms and views. We saw several hot air balloons land in the fields across from the property. Ample parking spaces, two indoor parking garage spaces. Since we visited in the summer we did not have any weather issues like snow. The outdoor patio and upper floor deck were wonderful spaces to enjoy the beautiful views and clear starry skies at night. Our host was fantastic, they even left a welcome gift! The property is located near a playground and a small lake. We were a multigenerational family with young children and everyone had a great time. I highly recommend this wonderful home for your next visit to the Tabernash, Fraser, Winter Park Area. You won't be disappointed. We kept saying how glad we were that we selected this property for our visit.

Beautiful location, awesome house

We had a great time staying in Tabernash. We stayed with two little kids and 7 adults and we all had a great time in the house. There was plenty of space for everyone. Location wise this house was perfect. We were near some great snowmobile tours of the Continental Divide, dog sledding and skiing! We were not the best skiers so instead of skiing at Winter Park, we went to Granby Ranch. It was the perfect place for beginners and children. Overall, we had a great time in this home and hope to come back soon!!

Gorgeous Getaway

This home is beautiful, classy and spacious. Close proximity to eateries and pubs, and only 10 minutes from Winterpark. My husband and I found the place cozy, clean, and thank the owners sticking to high quality furnishings, utensils, and thoughtfulness in making it home away from home. We checked in Thursday, had a great nights sleep, and went skiing Friday. Came home, turned on the fireplace and set the stage for a refreshing stay throughout the weekend. Would definitely recommend it and stay again. Cheers!

Great ski vacation!

Our stay in Tabernash , CO could not have been better. The home was absolutely immaculate and well appointed with everything needed to make us feel as if we were staying in our own home. Upon arrival, we found a very detailed guest manual explaining everything that we needed to know about the home. We were the first people to stay in the home since the owners had updated it from top to bottom. The flooring, appliances and furnishings were all brand new. The home is decorated in a beautiful rustic modern decor. We enjoyed very restful nights sleeping on the incredibly comfortable mattresses. The home has 4 spacious bedrooms and 3 full bathrooms. There was more than enough room for our 2 family party of seven. The 2 level Floorplan provides 2 separate living/entertainment areas. It was nice that our kids had their own separate area to enjoy complete with video game console and a variety of games. The home also has a beautiful outdoor space off of the kitchen and living room. We enjoyed sitting out on the spacious deck and taking in the mountain views. Cozy evenings were spent under the impressive patio heater and in front of the outdoor fireplace. There is also a very nice outdoor built in barbecue on the deck as well. There is ample parking space in the 2 car garage and enough space in the driveway to park 4 cars if needed. We were here on a spring skiing vacation and liked the fact that there was a rack in the garage to hang our skis on at the end of the day. We were also delighted with the proximity of the home to all of the local attractions. We were 15 minutes from Winter Park Ski Resort, 5 minutes from Devil's Thumb Resort and Spa, and 10 minutes from the local recreation center that had an amazing indoor Aquatic and athletic facility. This was undoubtedly a 5 star experience for us. We look forward to coming back to this home in the summer months.

The perfect mountain getaway

The details mattered: welcoming rooms, soft and comfortable beds, fresh and clean towels, everything you can dream up in the kitchen and most importantly quiet and tranquility even while the kids played downstairs! We will return to this home whenever we can get away. The host made this experience a 5 star experience and the location was so easy to get to winter park, Devils Thumb Ranch, the Y and Grand Lake. There is so much to do and see during the day, and so much relaxing in the evening at home. We left feeling refreshed, and grateful for the beauty and hiking in the mountains!

Cozy and comfortable property!

We had an amazing and comfortable stay at this property. It was very cozy and clean. There is plenty of space between the main level living and kitchen area and the family room space downstairs. Perfect for families and children. The location was great, easy to find. The owners provided us with everything we needed. This a great property for both summer and winter getaways. Highly recommend this property!!

Updated; clean; comfortable; great patio/grill

An absolutely wonderful condo for ski and summer time activities. Minutes from Winter Park and Mary Jane, as well as Devil's Thumb, we skied on the mountains one day and cross country skied the next. The condo is great, with king size beds, a dedicated area and TV for kids, and a fully stocked and great kitchen and outside patio and grill.

Serene and elegant mountain retreat

Such a beautiful, comfortable and elegant home. It is very clean and well-maintained as well as comfortably furnished. So many amenities in the area yet a nice, quiet mountain get-away without all the business of a city. The rooms are large and beds are very comfortable. Family friendly with bunk bed room and additional family area in the basement to allow adult and kid-friendly entertaining and fun! Management was great and very helpful. I would definitely stay again!

This place is amazing!!

This home is gorgeous. Absolutely one of my favorite vacation rentals ever. A perfect setting for one or more families to gather and spend quality time. The living area is open, welcoming and inviting. The downstairs living area and bedrooms are perfect for kids, and the large porch with sitting area and grill is a bonus for outside time in the beautiful Colorado sunshine. All bedrooms are spacious and beautifully appointed. Close to skiing, Grand Lake, Rocky Mountain National Park...I can't wait to go back.
