If you’re craving sprawling privacy surrounded by nature near the beach, look no further. Located on 1 acre of private land is Paradise Retreats Sea Change directly across from Hendry’s Beach. Walk across the street, take a swim, then grab a cocktail at the Boathouse, and watch the sun set over the Pacific.

A truly rare find in Santa Barbara, an undisturbed acre of ocean-facing property all to yourself. Sprawling grass and a garden swing will greet you to the 4 Bedroom, 2.5 Bathroom Spanish-style home. Cozy Living Room and a formal Dining Room that leads to the stocked Kitchen. There are spacious Bedrooms and Bathrooms, including the Primary Suite and a guest Bedroom showcasing an ocean view. Out back there are shady trees surrounding a dining area, grill, and private hot tub. Don't miss out on this special place!

*NOTE: Fireplace is nonfunctional at this time.

Fantastic House, Superb Location

This is an amazing home in a fabulous location. The beds were comfy, the house was clean and beautifully and eclectically decorated! We loved all the art, decor, and overall personality the property has. And the property, WOW! The kind of place you wish you could call your own. From sitting in the hot tub in the backyard looking out towards the ocean you have a gorgeous green mountainside and palm trees in the distance, I felt like I was in Costa Rica; absolutely breathtaking. Enormous front yard for the kids to run around on, and the hot tub in the backyard, there really is something for everyone. And speaking of having everything the house certainly does! Step stools for little kids to reach sinks, a baby Bjorn pack & play, a high chair, lots of kids plates, and if you don’t have kids it still has everything you’d need to cook a great meal. (Also for anyone traveling with a kid who sleeps in a pack & play, there is a walk-in closet in the master bedroom that was easily big enough for the P&P, giving our toddler his own nice dark room!) Already daydreaming of the next trip we can take to stay here, it was an absolute dream!

Gorgeous home, absolutely fantastic location, and a truly wonderful experience working with the property company Paradise Retreats. This home is perfect for families, friends, groups, whatever! It's less than 10 minutes from everything, and the Boathouse restaurant and beach across the street are incredible. As we were leaving I was looking up when we could next return. Thank you for an excellent experience, and thank you to Paradise Retreats for all of your incredible help!

Fantastic home. Fantastic location.

We had 3 generators stay to celebrate a 100th birthday. Folks came from all around, local to Canada. We hosted a grill party. there was room for everyone to eat, play in the back yard and an electric piano a guitar for music. we will definitely return.

Great experience

We visited this property to celebrate my mom’s 70th birthday. It was perfect for her and the whole family. It had everything we needed and was in a great location near the beach.

Literally across the street from a dog friendly beach and an amazing restaurant. Very comfy with lots of outdoor space. Will definitely return!

Perfect location and wonderful home

The property is right across the street from a nice beach and a great restaurant. The exterior grounds are beautiful and provide lots of privacy. Nice hot tub. Very well equipped home with many homey touches. Good beds are very important to us and the beds were excellent.

Sea Change

Excellent location. We loved walking on the beach every day. Great beach toys and equipment provided. Interior furnishings were adequate but not commensurate with the price paid to rent this house. The electrical system in the master bedroom and closet did not always work which was very frustrating. The address at the street was obscured by tall weeds (that we pulled out) which seemed in line with the overall feeling of the house- a bit neglected.

Great location

We loved the location. The house has lots of room in and out. We ate across the street at the boathouse several times and were never disappointed. It is 10 to 15 min from alot to do. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful girls getaway for Mother's Day!

All six of us girls had planned this house for a girls' getaway for Mother's Day! The house did not disappoint and was well stocked with household items. The house and property is expansive and allows plenty of individual space if needed. A big plus is its location which is directly across the street from the restaurant, beach, hiking trails and the community is not far. We will definitely consider staying here in the future.

Lovely home close to the coast and town

Great location, but mixed bag

We liked the location of this property, the well stocked kitchen and comfort of the beds. A few other things make for my comment of mixed bag. The furniture on the main floor was in poor condition. Especially in the living room with a worn couch and chairs that were too low to the ground for my in-laws. The excessive warnings about beach tar and the condition of Hendry beach really didn’t lend themselves to walking or swimming. The hot tub was in poor condition and looked unused for quite some time. And lastly exiting the property via car or foot is treacherous to say the least. Overall just not worth the money.

Great location, roomy, well-kept property

Family get together for Father's 90th birthday. Roomy, well-kept property for 5 adults and 2 children. Close to everything, had everything we needed and....it is right across the street from the beach!!!

Magical stay!

Your home was just right in every way. So homey, so well-appointed and so well-located. We came frequently to SB for years to stay with family in Hope Ranch and had not been back for some time. Great place to stay with family!

We came from (4) different places in the USA to witness the union of a great nephew/nephew/cousin. The location was great, literally directly across the road from beach, great walking trails and a nice walk to downtown. The property manager walked me through when I had questions. Location, Location, Location

From booking to arrival working with the Paradise group was seamless. We came early for a family wedding and to explore Santa Barbara. This property gave us quick access to the beach, downtown, and amazing restaurants. If you are planning to head to California this is a great family friendly property!

Great Beach Spot

Overall this property is truly amazing. The location and size of yard are more than enough for me to consider booking it again. The house is a bit old though and we did have one issue with the plumbing; however the property management company was able to get a plumber out a couple days later to resolve/fix the issue. Long story short we were down a bathroom for 2 days during a holiday weekend... Things to know: The garage is full of really great beach and yard toys: paddle boards, coolers, beach chairs, umbrellas, etc... The beach itself is a short trek across the street and through a parking lot. It's dog friendly which is really cool, but the beach itself has a ton of driftwood and debris piled up; not sure if it's normally like that or not! Overall though a truly relaxing time and can't wait to go back!
