our stay in Paradise

The Papakea is a great family resort! It has spacious beautiful grounds, big pools, and lots of green space for the kids to run around. This unit had a nice view of pool and ocean it was comfortable accommodation for our young family of 4. Would definitely come back to stay here again!

Perfect Location and Amenities

We couldn't have found a better place to stay with an epic view, all the amenities we needed, comfortable bedding, between all our favorite beaches and restaurants, and walkable to ABC Store, groceries and coffee!

Clean, nice view, needs updating

My overall opinion is stay here if you get a good rate. It was clean, comfortable and has a good whale watching balcony. My main criticism is that the listing says “many updates”. I stayed in 2 other units on the property that both had many more. This place had weird fluorescent lighting panels in the kitchen, what seemed like some sort of old vinyl flooring, and super janky carpet in the bedroom. The bathroom shower seemed new.

Nice quiet resort with beautiful views

This was our second time at this resort. We found it quiet with beautiful views. Enjoyed the pools and sitting out by the ocean and catching glimpses of whales. A good location to Lahaina and Whalers Village.

Perfect Location

Gorgeous view, perfect location to walk to our favorite places to eat (Farmers Market, Slappy Cakes, Fish Market), sand toys, beach chairs, coolers. This home had exactly what we needed for the most enjoyable stay.

Easy to check-in. Lovely condo. Great pool and Grills for cooking. Fun activities. Wonderful that it is right on beach to watch sunsets.

Great property and unit. Very comfortable and nice pool. Easy check in. Amazing sunsets and since it was the right season we could see whales from our balcony. Nicely furnished with plenty of amenities. Would stay there again.

Great location within Papakea and the Kaanapali area. Ocean and sunset views from the lanai were fantastic. Conveniently located near store and food trucks, all within walking distance. The unit itself was clean and worked well for our family.

Loved our stay at Papakea!

The property is exactly as listed. Great location with an ocean view. Extremely well equipped condo for cooking and beach activities (chairs, umbrella, cooler etc). Resort is very nice with ample space at pools and enough chairs at beach. Check in process was very easy. Short walk to Dukes and Kaanapali beach/ Black Rock. Really enjoyed our time here.

The property was exceptional clean. It all we needed. Front desk were helpful. When we called Perfect stays for issues they were right on it. They even checked up on us to see if all was well!

The only reason for not a 5 star is the kitchen has not been updated. Fairly equipped. The view was perfect. Bed comfortable. The booking agent, My Perfect Stays, was exceptional. I would book this property again.

Lovely Maui condo

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay in this Papakea condo. The location is great - with view of the water as well as the pool and interior putting green area. The condo had everything we needed, including a kitchen with nice appliances, and good beach set up (umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear. We had an issue with the safe in the condo and Zack from the rental company came over and quickly fixed it with a new battery. We’d definitely rent this condo again!

Wonderful vacation

Perfectly located, all things you need for a easy stay, everything was clean and all items in the kitchen were well organized (and well appointed). The resort amenities were also very clean and beautiful, the view from the balcony of g207 was amazing, got to see so many whales! Would highly recommend staying here, and can't wait to come back! Only constructive criticism would be to remove the carpet from the bedroom, just didn't feel great on the feet from the nice cool flooring elsewhere in the unit. Felt it kept in more heat than it needed to.

Awesome!

The unit had some upgrades since the last time we had stayed, including a/c👍 The papakea had friendly helpful staff and the grounds were well kept. Our room had everything we could need including all the beach extras like chairs, towels, umbrellas, boogie boards and beach toys, perfect for our family. Quiet property, lots of green space and activities for the kids to run free and keep busy outside. This was our third time here and we’ll be back again.

Amazing week's stay!

The Papakea Resort was all it was advertised to be! Unit G207 was perfect for us. Excellent sunset views from the lanai and a well stocked kitchen. The king bed was very comfortable. The extras for the beach were a huge plus as well (chairs, coolers, fins) This is not the most upscale place, but we aren't looking for that!! Kitchen cabinets and bathroom countertop were dated, but it was no big deal. Also, no swimming beach directly out front, but plenty of sandy beaches in walking distance. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to book again in the future.
