Spend your days cruising the shores of Payette Lake, hiking the scenic trails throughout Ponderosa State Park, or visiting the local shops, eateries, and breweries that make up downtown - there is never a dull moment in the mountains! Retreat back to the cabin to enjoy a barbecue with loved ones on the deck, followed by s'mores around the fire pit at dusk.

Lovely Spot for a Downtown Weekend in McCall

This place was more perfect than expected!! It was so close to downtown & the lake that we could walk everywhere. The bathrooms were updated and the kitchen was big so it could accommodate all of us. Would rent this place again!

Perfect place for friends and family to get together!

Plenty of space to get together or places to go for your private time. Short walk to town and lake or to get to the trail for a great nature walk.

Great location in McCall!

We stayed at the Rustic Retreat with 7 adults and 4 kids as part of our family vacation. The house was updated, very clean, and well supplied with lots of extras such as spices, nice towels, and kitchen items. We highly recommend this place and would stay here again!

Excellent! Location was perfect for our teens to walk downtown and to the lake, and the gathering areas were spacious for games and relaxing: huge kitchen table and two TV areas (the lounge upstairs was great for the kids). We also spent a lot of time outside on the porch--the picnic table was great. Fully stocked with dishes, etc.I'm giving this a 5-star because it was clean, spacious, and convenient--and communication was timely and friendly. It fit the bill for a fun McCall weekend with teens and their friends, plus a grandma.

Not terribly handicap accessible. Property served us well but my husband who uses a Walker could not access back porch. Toilets were also short for older people. Home was very clean and well stocked.

Great for large groups!

We hosted a bunch of friends here for our wedding and they loved it! Most of them hadn’t been to McCall before and the location was perfect for them to explore. Lots of space, didn’t feel too cramped.

Comfortable updated house in great location just a couple blocks from downtown McCall. Quiet neighborhood that feels like you’re in the country. Well stocked house with all the basics and much more. Kitchen has everything you could want for cooking

Home away from home

My family enjoyed our stay in McCall immensely. Communication was great and the home did not disappoint. It had room for everyone and is in an excellent location. We could easily walk downtown, to the lake, or to the grocery store. We saw deer outside everyday! This was a terrific home away from home and we look forward to staying here again.

Winter Family Retreat in McCall

This home was just perfect for the 11 members of our family - 5 kids and 6 adults. The top floor has two bedrooms and play area for the kids and the downstairs has three bedrooms for the adults. The gathering place around the fireplace was great for games, TV watching or just talking. The kitchen has an impressive long table that could seat all our people for meals at the same time and was available for larger (more raucous) games. The kids made several snow hills for hours of sledding fun. The walk to downtown was easy and short - like 5 minutes - for a quick trip to a tasting at a local brewery or wine bar. A great time was had by all. Thanks

Great for our groups snowmobile trip to McCall

Just got back from our annual guys snowmobile trip to McCall. Our biggest challenge finding a house with enough room to park our rigs and trailers and this house delivered! The owner was responsive to our questions on parking and made sure their snow plow person had everything cleared to where we could park (with disconnecting) a four place enclosed trailer and truck as well as another truck with three place open trailer all in the back driveway and then still room for two individuals trucks in the front. The house worked great for us with garage access, 7 individual beds and a couch for our 8th person to sleep. We also liked the waking proximity to downtown. The house had all the amenities we needed. A couple things we had to get used to was the fire place is the main source of heating (each room has a wall heater) and there is no dishwasher/garbage disposal. However we adapted and it was mainly a non issue for the trip. Would definitely put this home as one of the places we consider for our next guys trip to the area.

Perfect house, Great Location

This house is the perfect combo of small and large. it has 5 bedrooms but is also so comfortable that you are all together in the living room and kitchen. It just felt like we were at our house. loved it. Amber was so great to work with too.

Comfortable and cozy

Our visit to the property we rented in McCall was very clean and well stocked for any need one may have for a comfortable stay. Having 5 bedrooms was perfect for my family and the common areas were great for hanging out together. We highly recommend this property to anyone who wants to enjoy the mountains of McCall, winter or summer.

Great house in a convienent location.

This is a great house in McCall. We had 11 in our party and we all fit comfortably. The location is amazing - close to everything you would want to do. The house was well stocked with necessities. Plenty of parking for our three vehicles (even with the large amount of snow piled up). Check-in and check-out was easy and I appreciated the informative email I received prior to arriving with all we needed to know about the property. Highly recommend and we would definitely stay here again!

Great place to stay! We'll definitely be back.

We really enjoyed the weekend and would love to rent this property again! It was cozy and comfortable and had plenty of room for our family. The owner was accommodating and responsive when we decided to take our pet last minute. We loved all the well placed notes that told us where everything was, how to use the wood stove, where to park and not to park, etc. Thank you!!

Labor Day Weekend

It met our needs. We would have liked to have a dishwasher but we made it work. It was close to town and the grocery store. It allowed us to park our boat and jet ski. The Master shower leaked--the door did not close completely.
