The Blanchard Estate is a collection of the Blanchard Homestead and the Blanchard Guest House that can be rented together for larger groups. These properties sit next to each other in the Dundee Hills AVA region, which is practically the epicenter of Oregon Wine Country. These homes are a wonderful blend of new updates and vintage pieces. You are surrounded by some of the most renowned vineyards in the region on all sides of the property. Beyond that, there are a number of attractions and fantastic restaurants in the region you won't want to miss.

-The Blanchard Homestead-

There are so many great amenities to this home and being a spacious single level home is a major one. It is perfect for families, small group, and friends to enjoy the space and make memories. One of the first things everyone notices is the oversized windows that allow an incredible amount of natural light and expansive regional and vineyard views. You will also find a flat-screen TV, with satellite and streaming options. If you get a chance enjoy the ambiance of the gas fireplace and while someone plays something on the piano.

The whole group can gather around in the fully-equipped kitchen to make a meal together, or to enjoy some wine and conversations at the wet bar. In the summer, you and your guests can enjoy meals on the outdoor patio and relax in the setting sun. Patio lounge seating, a outdoor dining table and large BBQ grill recently added.

This home features four bedrooms and three full bathrooms. Two rooms have luxurious king beds, with attached bathrooms. A third bedroom includes a queen bed with an attached full bath, and the fourth bedroom features four twin beds. The kids will love the foosball table, and the parents will love the less than 5-minute walk to Sokol Blosser, a popular winery. There are literally hundreds of vineyards within a 20 mile radius and dozens within a few minute drive.

-The Blanchard Guest House-

Upon entering the home you are greeted with warm and pleasant earth tones and lots of natural light. There is ample seating with oversized sectional recliners, couches and a dining table for meals overlooking the deck and vineyard. Other amenities include a gas fireplace, flat screen smart TV (with DISH and streaming capability). The uniquely shaped kitchen is fully stocked for your culinary desires.

The spacious master suite has an incredibly comfortable king bed as well as a full bath with soaking tub. The second bedroom includes a queen bed and a second full bathroom as well. You will find comfort both inside and out. The back deck has an outdoor dining table and large BBQ grill. The front deck has ample seating for your group and truly special vineyard views.

I cannot overstate how peaceful and beautiful this property is! Our extended family stayed here for our son’s wedding nearby and couldn’t have been happier with the home or location. It’s 10 minutes from Dutch Bros, but your views are vineyards and Mt Hood. You can see the road down the hill, but there was zero noise from traffic. The hosts were responsive and gracious (we broke a couple of plates) with our needs. The home is very comfortable - from the beds, to private bathrooms, to plenty of seating in the living room and the dining areas. We felt at home and only wish we could have stayed longer to enjoy the area! Bonus: They gifted us with a complimentary bottle of local wine which was a welcome and appreciated surprise! Would definitely recommend!!

Magnificent stay!

Everything was amazing! House was a perfect size for our family to gather. We rented both houses, but gathered in the larger house. The view is fantastic! The house was spacious and very clean. About 15 minutes from downtown McMinville. Right in the heart of the wine country. Would definitely stay there again!

While the house was clean and the views were lovely, there were many other issues that were essentially ignored. I had communicated with iTrip Northwest immediately, but I believe I was communicating with AI. I noted the non-functioning oven, the carpet runners with curling edges that created tripping hazards, the lack of adequate CO2 and smoke detectors, the neglected/dirty patio and absence of any firewood for outdoor fire pit.....to name a few. I would expect a refund of some sort. I'm disappointed to say the least, and will be much more wary in the future.

Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear that aspects of your stay did not meet your expectations. We would like to clarify that all communications you received were from our Guest Services team and not an AI system. When you reported your concerns, we responded and offered to send someone to the property to address the issues during your stay; however, that offer was declined. We take guest concerns seriously and make every effort to resolve reported issues as quickly as possible when given the opportunity. We also appreciate you bringing these items to our attention, as guest feedback helps us identify areas for improvement. Thank you again for your feedback, and we wish you all the best in your future travels.

Great Getaway for Family

We needed a place for our large family to getaway over Christmas vacation. This was ideal as it was clean, well stocked, comfortable beds and was very spacious. It had awesome views of the vineyards and the valley. It had ideal proximity as our family went to Bullwinkle’s one day and Wings and Waves water park the next day. The owners take great pride in the property as it has been in the family for decades and is recently updated.

Wonderful for a larger group

We had 8 people (no couples) and needed a home with more private sleeping arrangements. With 6 bedrooms amongst the 2 houses, including a bunk room, there was plenty of privacy and space. Highly recommend for anyone coming to town for wine tastings. We could walk to Sokol Blosser and get to pretty much any winery nearby in 10-15 minutes.

Lovely stay in Oregon Wine Country

What a great fun stay we had with friends! The house had everything we needed and was well stocked with essentials. Comfortable linens and beds. The iTrip staff was prompt to respond with any questions we had during our stay. We would recommend staying here especially with a larger group. Thank you and cheers!

We had a five-night stay with 10 guests at the Blanchard Estate in early August. Before arriving, on the morning of our first scheduled night (Sunday, August 9th), I received a text from ITrip saying that the air conditioning was not working at the larger house (the Blanchard Estate has two houses). I requested a time frame for having the A/C fixed and Chris at ITrip could not provide an estimate but said he would provide an update the next day (Monday). Upon arriving at the house, the temperature was close to 90 degrees inside as all the windows had been closed. In short, I continued to contact ITrip get the A/C repaired, but received little to no communication from them. A technician finally arrived at 8 pm on the third day (he mentioned that the group before ours also had A/C problem (not sure if it was for their entire stay or just the end)). He was finally able to fix the A/C. In summary, for three of our five days, we did not have A/C and the response from ITrip was less than lackluster. They had the gall to email me and text me on how our stay was going and to push for a 5-star review (clearly that is not happening). While the location of the property is lovely (view, vineyards, proximity to wineries), the ongoing maintenance has been neglected. I won't go into detail except to say that there were a number of unrepaired items. All in all, a very disappointing experience with the lack of A/C and the responses by management.

Thank you for taking the time to share your detailed feedback. We sincerely apologize that your stay did not meet the standard of experience we strive to provide. We completely understand how frustrating and uncomfortable it must have been to arrive and find the larger home without working air conditioning, especially with temperatures reaching close to 90 degrees inside. We are truly sorry for the delay in getting the issue resolved and, just as importantly, for the lack of timely communication and updates throughout the process. This is not the level of responsiveness or service we want our guests to experience. We also appreciate you bringing the additional maintenance concerns to our attention. Your feedback regarding the property's upkeep is valuable and will be shared with our team so these items can be reviewed and addressed. We sincerely regret letting you and your group down during your stay. Thank you again for your honest feedback, as it helps us identify where we need to improve. We hope we may have the opportunity to provide you with the experience and service you should have received.

Great location in Willamette wine country

This home is perfectly situated in the Willamette Valley, a short drive to countless wineries and even walking distance to a few. The house was warm, well appointed and had a great layout for our families to enjoy the week in Oregon. It sits beautifully between vineyards and olive tree groves. The beds and bedrooms were quite comfortable for all. The management company was quick to respond to a random issue that arose. Would highly recommend this house to others considering a trip to Oregon wine country.

Couples Wine Tasting Trip + Birthday

We had six couples (12 total adults) on a wine tasting trip to Willamette Valley, and this property was perfect for us. It is located right in the middle of a vineyard, so you feel like you're out in the country where it's quiet, the sunsets are beautiful, and you can have coffee on the front porch with a stunning view. But while it feels remote, it's not - it was only minutes to get into Dundee or Carlton or other nearby towns to grab dinner or groceries. The open kitchen was perfect for cooking breakfast or dinner together, and we were also able to use the outdoor firepit in the cooler evenings. Thank you for hosting us on such a special trip!

Great Location & Beautiful Setting

We were having an 80th birthday party for my mother in law. Family flew in from around the US. Very nice accommodations. My only complaint (which for many might be minor) was it was advertised as having a gourmet kitchen, and given that us three kids love to cook we chose this house above others. The oven/cooktop had no markings for the temperature of the oven or cooktop. We seriously had to guess, and if you are a baker, you know how hard that is. We had a very challenging time baking in this oven and had two of our pies over baked due to this issue. If you are not planning on doing a lot of cooking , this would have been a 5 star review all the way!
