This cute house and location worked well enough for our family of 6 — it felt safe, private, we enjoyed the short walking distance from the river, and liked the nearby eatery we tried (Angry Dumplings). The place is set up sufficiently but could use many improvements that would be easily addressed:* Note that the couch is not a sofa bed which we booked thinking it was. Our group of 6 was not 3 couples and would have preferred a sofa bed rather than a couch to sleep on for one guest. I believe I asked about it ahead of time and it may have gotten missed or too close to change my reservation.* The towels and pillows smelled mildewy and the laundry machine needs a full cleaning cycle (we ran a quick cleaning cycle on our last night). It must be hard to keep linens fresh in this humidity but that was not pleasant.* The smaller room by the side door needs more hooks since there is no closet to use; add small bed side tables or a small stand to set down belongings. * Our primary bedroom guest who is elderly suggested: adding a freestanding TP holder since she could not reach behind her, adding wall hooks since hangers were too tall for her, and a light in the closet.* The check out is more work than other places we’ve stayed: running the dishwasher is ok but also putting all the dishes away before leaving should be part of the cleaners’ job in our opinion.

Super cute house in a great location. Easy drive to downtown Knoxville and walking distance to several coffee shopsband breweries. The host was available to answer all of my questions. My family had a great time. We would definitely stay here again!

Lovely house!

Came with family and friends for Tennessee victory over Florida! Love the location in walking distance to South Coast Pizza and Red Bud restaurant as well as others. House was clean and perfect for our stay! Would stay again! Hosts were great

Perfect Location, Perfect Home and Amazing Hosts

Perfect place for hiking, bike riding, kayaking, dining and breweries. Everything is in easy walking distance on the South River side and Market Square is $9 Uber ride. The home is well stocked and decorated.The hosts incredible.we will be back.

I would not stay here again

It is a cute house in the pictures, but I wouldn't stay here again. The finishing look good, but are not maintained properly. The flooring in the master bedroom seemed to pop up in spots when you walked on it. The master shower faucet was loose from the wall. The master bathroom toilet paper holder was also broken from the wall on one side. The ceiling fan in the room with double beds had at least 3 inches on dust on the blades of the fan. When we arrived at 4pm for our check in the property was being cleaned. It was not ready at our check in time. The property was definitely not worthy of the $$$ cleaning fee. The house did provide a washer and dryer. The full kitchen had the basic needs. The space was big enough for our group of 5. This one looks good on paper, but disappointing in person. The neighborhood is trying, but it didnt feel safe enough for our girls trips in the future.

Underwhelming…..

In general the inside looked nice and modern and renovated. However, curb appeal was not impressive at all, overgrown and messy. The bathrooms were very dirty and moldy. Bathroom linens were scarce. Sorry but you need to get a K-cup coffee pot, everyone wants a different flavor of coffee these days and your bottom of the line coffee pot was not good. There was nowhere to put your clothes in the master BR or second bedroom. The layout was nice but the living room furniture was stained. I had to dust the ceiling fan in the master before using it! All in all disappointing.

Perfect for grad school reunion

5 of us who went to UT for grad school met up for a mini reunion. Great space to catch up and quickly get to good food, campus, and other places the out of towners wanted to visit while back in Knoxville!

Nice house, guest services need improvement

Nicely refurbished and very clean home close to downtown and campus areas. Neighborhood is definitely still in transition. Lots of new apartments and remodeled homes, but also lots of run down homes too. Check-in was clunky. We arrived after 4 to find people at the house, which was confusing. Figured out it was the cleaner. We had to kill time until she finished cleaning. Realize things come up, but a text update would have been helpful so we could have planned accordingly. She did offer us late check out to make up for it, but our travel schedule didn't allow us to take advantage of it. The heat pump was right outside the main bedroom window and made a very loud humming sound when running, which was most of the time. Due to the noise keeping us awake, we had to move to the bedroom in the front of the house and sleep in twin beds. The bedding and towels were excellent, but we only had one hand towel for the bathrooms and no kitchen wash cloths or towels at all. I did leave my make-up mirror there and the cleaner was nice enough to hold on to it so we could pick it up when we went through Knoxville on our way back home, which was greatly appreciated!

Cute House

House was as pictured. Very nicely updated, beds were comfortable. Our group traveled to Knoxville for a show check-in was at 4pm, due to a few days of terrible snow and cold weather the place had not been cleaned by 4pm so we had to find somewhere to kill time prior to the show. The housekeeper did a great job cleaning and was done by 7pm. Host offered late check-out for inconvenience. Due to the lack of heat in the house our group did not get to enjoy this rental 52-56 degrees is not a comfortable. My main problem was the heat in the house did not work. Because we did not have time to go back to the rental after it was cleaned because of our show. We did not know the heat was not working until 12am. Our group made the decision to stay despite it only being 56 degrees in the house. It was a very cold and uncomfortable night of sleep.
