A wonderful stay! The building is eclectic and well-cared for. My group had a book club retreat there for the weekend and it was a lovely time! I hope to use it again in warmer weather!

Excellent vacation home. Elegantly furnished. Very nice baths and kitchen. Convenient to ABE airport, Jim Thorpe and Lehigh Valley. We even conveniently ubered one day to NYC and back. Two of 8 in our family have limited mobility and did well in first floor of the home. However, the home would be inconvenient for more than 2 with mobility issues.

What an amazing experience! Our family of 9 had plenty of space to spread out but the beautiful main room encouraged us to spend all our time together. What an incredible place!

Best vacation ever!

We adored the property and the many activities there were to enjoy on the property! Grandchildren enjoyed many firsts. Hosts were extremely helpful and friendly. The church vibe was was cool and the original stained glass windows, amazing! HIGHLY recommend for a beautiful family vacation! Thank you Ross & Val♥️

Amazing as always

We have stayed here a few times before and it is always a wonderful experience. Ross and Valerie are great hosts and have meticulously taken the time to make sure everyone's experience is memorable. The house is very clean and has everything you need for your stay. My children love going there and the different room options make it fun for when they choose their rooms. The views are beautiful and relaxing. We will definitely return again!

Quirky property will all the luxuries

We had a family weekend at the villa and the home itself was beyond expectations. The stunning kitchen made meal prep and clean up (two dishwashers!) a breeze. The game room downstairs was a hit with the kids. Having such a large yard and property to roam was a blessing on a weekend with gorgeous weather. Thanks again!

Tremendously Unique Poconos Getaway

My friends and I (four married couples) recently stayed at The Corner at St. Lukes and we were wowed by how incredibly unique and gorgeous the property was. Log cabin-ey Poconos homes and converted new construction homes are a dime a dozen in that area; however, what drew us to this property was that it was a converted old church. The owners did a fantastic job with all of the new finishings and the stained glass windows are a wonderful touch. The house even had Christmas decorations up, which made it feel like a postcard. In addition to the property's uniqueness, the space is super well designed with a large central hangout area on the main floor with massive table, ample seating options, a gas fireplace, a chef's kitchen with a double oven, two sinks, and two dishwashers. Downstairs, there's a large game room with pool, shuffleboard, poker table, and theatre area. The downstairs was quite larger in person than the photos depicted. One challenge with Poconos' houses are having enough bathrooms and this property had six full bathrooms, which is (and I'm understating) a massive convenience for group trips. The property is less than 20 minutes from multiple wineries (Blue Ridge: top 13 in the country by Travel & Leisure and recommended), and Stroudsburg which has a nice main street with restaurants/bars. It's also within 30 minutes from Camelback and Blue Mountain. Even though there was so much to do nearby, it was tough leaving the house as the central room was so incredibly cozy and lent itself masterfully to group cooking, movies, games, etc. The long weekend reminded us of an extended snow day with friends. The owner's Ross and his wife Valerie were very accommodating and had plenty of local recommendations. Overall it was a fantastic experience and we would come back without question!

Cousins Trip: Saylorsburg Wine Tasting

This home is absolutely perfect. The setting and house are everything any travel group could want. Those owners thought of every detail when they created this beautiful space. Our group totaled 9 and we were very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed and contained everything we needed to prepare evening meals for the group. Fire pit space was perfect and next to a pond that was picture perfect. Additional cottages are available on the property and within walking distance to main house for larger groups. We want to return with more family members next time. Thank you for a very memorable experience. If you are considering renting this property / just do it. You will not be sorry.

We (extended family of about 27, (including 5 little ones) stayed at all 7 cottages and the Church house for a weeklong family gathering post our son's wedding in Phila. Every single thing about the accommodations, location, hosts, setting was perfect. each family had the space they needed and we also were able to gather for family meals on the porch of the big house in the evening. Folks were well occupied fishing, lounging, and hiking while we also had plenty of relaxed time to simply connect amidst the calming and sweet landscape. Val and Ross were extremely responsive and attentive hosts and shared stories that gave the place a sense of meaning. Now, with the next generation growing into young families, it was the ideal way to holiday together without being in one another's way. Can't say enough about the thought and care that went into every element of the resort, bravo...well done!

Split Creek Preserve is most definitely a little slice of heaven! Peaceful , serene & absolutely beautiful!! Ross & Valerie, are so accommodating, kind & have outdid themselves with the decorating & warmth in the main home (the church) & the adorable cottages ! They thought of every detail! We felt right at home & didn’t want to leave ! We made wonderful memories , enjoyed the calming scenery & look forward to visiting again very soon!!

Sisters Retreat

This was my second visit at The Church and it was just as good as the first visit. Ross and Valerie are the perfect hosts. The property is immaculate! Everything is spotless! The church is absolutely beautiful and the online pictures don’t do it justice. Plenty to do in the area, but it’s nice just to stay back and sit by the fireplace and admire the gorgeous stained glass windows! Can’t wait to go back!

Absolutely gorgeous.

This house was absolutely stunning. The house was super clean and the decor was stunning. We loved the colors used in every room. We also loved the convenience of the kitchen. The 2 sinks, 2 refrigerators and 2 dishwashers certainly came in handy for a family of 7. The kitchen never felt crowded. Valerie and Ross were very responsive and extremely nice. We loved the tour and learning a little about about the history of the church/house upon our arrival. Words alone can’t describe how beautiful the house is. You’ll have to see for yourself. Would definitely recommend and would love to stay there again!!

What a beautiful place!

Myself and 6 of my best girlfriends stayed for the weekend, and can I just say. Our breaths were taking away from the moment we stepped in to the foyer. The pictures look amazing, but compares nothing to the actual house. It is beyond beautiful. Ross and Valerie were amazing as well, and the tour was nice because we learned a little bit of the history of "The Corner at St. Luke's". I can honestly say there was not a thing that disappointed, even down to the beds/pillows, well equipped kitchen, to the basement of games, and to the views. Just a few things to mention. We will love to go back. It was a weekend of making more memories with childhood friends, to tons of laughs, and lots of smiles.

Outstanding rental for a group of friends or families

Not only does this rental look fantastic in photos, but it lives up to them and more when you arrive. We found this to be perfect for a weekend getaway to celebrate a few birthdays. There is plenty to do on the grounds as well as nearby. If you have the opportunity to book this, you won't regret it. Thanks to Ross and his wife for an amazing experience

Friends weekend getaway

The house was beautiful and clean just like the pictures shown. Ross and Valerie were amazing and super nice! The ponds were great for fishing and having the paddle boats/ canoes were great. We had a great weekend getaway from the city life and we hope to be back soon! We all wished we stayed longer! Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

Girlfriends weekend

We absolutely loved our stay in this unique and lovely property! Everything is stunning and well-maintained. The house had a huge kitchen with two of everything -- fridges, dishwashers, etc, a ton of drinkware and everything you need to entertain and cook for a group, and a big backyard with a really nice grill, firepit, tiki torches, and soft seating and tables. There are multiple seating areas for movie night, game night, group meals, and just sitting around talking. We had a small emergency with a toilet that was no fault of anyone and did not speak for how well the house was kept. Ross and Val were over in two minutes to fix it and help us! I loved staying here, with lots of room for everyone to enjoy themselves, and would love to come back!
