5 Large Bedrooms, 2 full size wood cribs, 2 Sound Machines, 1 Baby monitor, Thule jogger & beach toys, Coolers, tons of baby accessories.

As an original 1882 Farmhouse, the upstairs staircase is steeper than modern building standards. The upstairs bathroom is 1882 original and features an authentic Iron Claw-Foot tub, which has limited standing room inside the tub.

This home is an excellent property for a family or group. It's obvious that the property is well maintained and cared for by its owners. In fact, there were thoughtful touches throughout this charming house--including a nice bottle of wine! The kitchen is well equipped and stocked with convenient dry goods. This house would be a really nice place to stay with children. Overall, the attentive owner and his excellent properties made for a wonderful weekend for my son's wedding.

A very nicely remodeled historic home. Lots of sleeping areas, close enough to walk to town & the beach and the kitchen was great & fully stocked. The pool table kept our teenagers entertained. An overall great experience!

The perfect spot

Our family had a wonderful time during our visit to Charlevoix for a wedding at Castle Farms. This home provided the perfect spot for us with plenty of space for everyone and a central location that was convenient to the downtown area, the wedding venue, and many other great places to visit. Our host was quite gracious and very responsive to our questions and requests.

Wedding Weekend

The house was super convenient to the wedding venue. It was clean, well decorated and the host Joe was super easy to communicate with. The one negative would be having only one proper shower, but the good definitely outweighed any small issues.

This wonderful, historical home was immaculately clean, fun for our family of 10, with 3 small children, and a teenager. Between the game room and living room activities to food preparation in the well equipped kitchen for our army, we loved everything about this farm house. This home is supplied well as if we were home and never left. We have experienced hosts with many years of vacation

Wonderful Home and Host

Our party was a group of adults traveling to be in our friends' wedding party. The house was amazing. Very lovely and clean, not to mention stocked to heck. We didn’t want for anything while we were there. It was perfect for a group of twenty-something professionals to wind down after celebrating our friends' union. I would absolutely pick this place again if given the chance.

Everything was provided!

Wonderful stay. So well equipped from strollers and toys to pool table and music system. Kitchen was spacious and modern with everything we needed for several large family meals. The ‘old house’ charm and quirkiness added to the fun. The two bathrooms sufficed and the upstairs clawfoot tub with handheld was great for the littles. Another shower in addition to the one downstairs would help for the adults. Location is prime while being away from downtown noise at night. Everyone agreed we would enjoy another stay!

We came to Charlevoix for our daughter’s wedding at Castle Farms. The Garfield was a perfect location. We also enjoyed the character and cleanliness of the house. Joseph was great at responding to our questions once we arrived. Highly recommend this home!

Fantastic Stay, Great Location

Had a great stay, plenty of space for a big family, lots of historic charm, and very kid friendly! My 4 year old nephew had a great time playing hide and seek in the house. I also appreciated the close proximity to shops and restaurants downtown, quite walkable if you can handle we the uphill climb on the way back.

Charlevoix

This rental was the perfect location for us to stay in for my sons wedding at Castle Farms. Joe communicated very well with me. He even let us check in early. The only downfall we had was unfortunately our car alarm went off when we came back late at night and took us some time to get turned off. The neighbors called and complained to Joe. I felt really bad and thought that was uncalled for. They have a noise ordinance after 9 and they don’t mess around.

Wonderful stay

First and foremost, Joseph was the most responsive and welcoming host. It was a very hot week and he made sure each room was comfortable. Kitchen was very well stocked. The house was fine. Only one standing shower but our friends used the hand held in the bath and were happy. Appliances and grill were fine. Easy walk into town and lighthouse for sunset Would come back

Family getaway

House was nice, loved location and the character of the inside of the house. Hard to only have one shower and did not realize air was window air conditioner. Also, felt outside of house needs to be cleaned up. It was great to be able to make meals and grill outside!

This house is awesome!! So much character!!

The owners are great to work with. Very prompt with reply’s to questions and they have thought of everything!! House includes more then we ever expected. We loved the two living rooms and the front porch!! Kitchen is beautiful and so large!! Bedrooms are great sizes and many configurations. We didn’t use The bonus rooms, but they would have used if we had small children!! You have to see this place!!

Unique House and Wonderful Hospitality

Stayed 3 nights/4 days for a family wedding at the Castle. It’s literally 5 minutes away. You can walk to downtown Charlevoix. LOVE the rooms! For winter months felt the thermostat should higher due to cold drafts in some of the room on the main floor.

Wedding weekend getaway

This home was perfect for our long weekend in Charlevoix! It was clean, spacious, very well appointed, great location, and the host was awesome. Next time we come we will definitely try some of the restaurant and activity recommendations. This trip was all about a beautiful Castle Farms wedding!
